Everything was absolutely delicious. The Gobi 65 was pretty spicy relative to the other dishes but still soooo good. To our surprise the Chicken Chettinad was the standout dish and one we'd highly recommend (and would order every time we return). Ordering already requires a little extra patience because communication can sometimes be difficult, and having the person taking your order distracted by a phone call makes it considerably worse. I really want to like this place because the food is excellent, but customers shouldn't feel like an interruption when they're trying to place an order. A little attention to the people actually standing at the window would make a huge difference.

The tikka masala was perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and plentiful. Served with a generous helping of basmati, and including a side of (just one) piece of naan, it satisfied my craving for Indian food and paired surprisingly well with my Uncommon California Common. The owners were friendly and helpful, and when I was told the food would be ready in 6 minutes, they impressed me by having it ready in about 5 minutes and 45 seconds. I ordered their basic smash, which was just $10 (a screaming deal in today's economy). I did pay for quite the generous $4 side of fries, too. It was allll so good. The smash burger was dripping with cheesy goodness, and the shoestring-style fries were perfectly crispy, salty, and a lovely accompaniment to the burger (and my Oktoberfest beer). I will most definitely be returning soon and trying one of their other burger options. They also have chicken burgers!
