    Fresh Spring Roll

I have been coming to this spot for years! It is your typical sushi spot. There is a waterfall in the middle and everything is very clean and inviting. This is my parents go to neighborhood sushi spot. I came here on a Monday night around 9pm with my mom. It was easy to find parking right in front and we got a table right away. I love that it's been the same waitress so it is always a familiar face. To start we got a miso soup and a hot sake. I love how there is a lot of tofu in there you can get some basically in every bite. Then we got the sashimi appetizer, the fresh spring rolls, and the eel rainbow roll. The sashimi appetizer was fresh and it comes with 9 pieces easy to share. My favorite dish of the night was the fresh spring rolls. I love the fresh veggies and the sweet sauce that comes with it. My mom loves to come here for the eel rainbow roll. Love the cream cheese with the eel and the fresh fish on top. I would say that this spot is great to get your neighborhood sushi fix not super fancy but good food.

Great service, very friendly, felt welcome. Started with the House Wonton Soup as an appetizer, delicious and large enough for a full meal. Then tried two rolls, both were flavorful and fresh. Liked the crab dynamite topping on my California Roll Deluxe roll, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I hadn't been to Nami Sushi in YEARS! I'm not sure why I stopped going but once I remembered this little gem I decided to stop in for dinner. Whoa...has this their menu changed. It's SO MUCH BETTER than I remember it being. They still had the rolls I used to order all the time (Green Hornet & Off Da Chain) but they've expanded their menu so much to include Japanese, Chinese and Thai. The atmosphere was just like I remembered it. Very chill spot to get amazing food. The service was excellent. Our waitress Alicia was fantastic and made some really good recommendations. We had an order of the edamame, a Harry Hand Roll & the dishes that blew me away were the Deep Ocean Roll & Blue Crab Fried Rice! Definitely recommend those two options. I'm so happy I rediscovered this place and can't wait to start frequenting it again often!

amazing food, lovely staff! The atmosphere is calm & very authentic. Love this place, we go every month for the sushi, lo mein & fried rice! the portions are big so come with an empty stomach!! it's worth it!

Nami is always solid. I work nearby, and this is my once-in-while-treat for lunch. It's healthy, clean, delicious, and they have a ton of sushi options. I'm not a huge fan of seafood, and they even offer chicken tempura rolls as an alternative. I usually order takeout, and it's always ready quickly. I also get customizations to my sushi, and they're accommodating and nice about it. There are separate doors for the dining room and takeout counter, so make sure you check the signs on the doors. It's a bit expensive at $15-18 for a normal-sized roll.

If they changed hands, they changed for the better. I got my go to coconut milk soup with shrimp and I went off the limb and got chicken pad Thai. I asked for both to be mild. The soup was a score, but the pad Thai was too spicy. Maybe the guy heard me wrong and thought I said mild for the soup and spicy for the pad Thai when I said no spice on the pad Thai. Those that love spicy will love this. They offer new menus which makes me think there is a change in ownership.

I loved the food it was all fantastic, my fiancé wasn't the biggest fan but I loved everything from the wine to the food. Service was straight there seemed to only be one server, serving like 5 tables so it was tough to get a hold of her but it was cool. The atmosphere was legit to very authentic, my fiancée even praised how we feel in a different part of the world, so mission accomplished.

An unfortunate experience. My sister and I were both craving sushi and I told her about a spot I saw next to the nail shop. It was dim but nice looking so I saved it in my "must try". We ordered for pick up and the process was seamless, we were ready to head home and try our new findings. To my surprise it looked like pre packaged Publix bought sushi. Which, funny enough, it is in a Publix plaza so hmm.. who knows. Nonetheless, it was OKAY sushi. If you're new to eating sushi then you may love it, but as an experienced sashimi and nigiri consumer, I know when the fish is the freshest!

We arrived for an early dinner, and the place was empty. But by the time we left all the tables were filled. Some friends ordered Thai tea and said it was good. They also had a green curry they liked, but the sauce was a little watery, and a fried fish that was okay, but not great they said. We ordered a pad thai which was tasty but a little heavy, and a masuman curry that was a little on the sweet side. It was enjoyable. It wasn't really expensive. And all in all we were satisfied with the meal. I might have said 3 stars on the food, but overall it was a pleasant meal.

There are two locations when I was searching it up and wanted to make note of this location in West Pines. Came here with friends to celebrate a birthday while they were in town and it was such a great experience. We came pretty close to closing and they never made us feel rushed and were so friendly from when we walked in to when we left. We ended up doing a bit of family sharing for the dishes we got. I got the salmon lover which came with an array of salmon sushi. We got Khao Soi (which came with an Arnold Palmer), Pad See Ew, curry, and a few other things. Everything was so good! We also got some dessert to celebrate the birthday and it came with a big "candle" which was more like fireworks and it was such a fun way to celebrate. Overall, such a great experience and a hidden gem for Thai & sushi in West Pines.

We went back with our friends and my daughter ordered it and it was much better. Despite this one mishap, all the other dishes have been so good. The flavors are so deep and you can tell the authenticity of each dish. Some of our fave dishes include khao soi, papaya salad, duck soup, kra pao and the massaman and red curries. Also, I've had their Thai tea and Thai coffee--both good! My husband enjoys the beer Singha. The only downsides are the long wait times (the place is small and so popular, so you can only imagine) and a couple times when we ordered mango sticky rice, either they ran out of ice cream or mangos. Hopefully they'll have everything the next time. I will say, overall, their food is worth the wait and a top Thai spot on our list!

From the outside, it is a small strip mall shop that houses a restaurant... but the great quality and freshness of all the food we ordered, certainly set this restaurant apart We ordered some spring rolls straight away and they were so good and deliciously warm that o didn't even take a picture! There is 4 small rolls to a portion and they were a great appetizer. I opted for the sushi roll with the shrimp tempura, avocado and asparagus and it was huge and delicious! I also tasted some of my friend's chicken fried rice and that was very good as well. We also ordered the beef salad and it looked excellent but I was so full, I didn't taste any! For drinks I had the Jasmin tea and it was fragrant and delicate- very yummy! Overall, service was prompt and very fast and cordial and our experience was excellent ! No wait - many tables- despite it being a Sunday lunch, this jewel or a restaurant was available and ready to receive us so we were very happy for that! It came in a small container. Upon closer inspection, what I saw in the container was 6 rolls and a skinny piece of shrimp randomly placed. It looked like garnish rather than a part of my roll. I am a big fan of sushi and I have lived in the area for over 20 years. Sushi spots tend to be a little pricey out here but the rolls are large and filling. This roll left me feeling like I didn't even eat because not only is it only 6 pieces, it was also thin. To make matters worse, that little piece of shrimp was super fishy. I took one tiny bite and it made me gag!!! The roll itself was good but rest assured I will never order that again. $12 should AT LEAST BE 8-10 pieces because what's inside, 6 tiny pieces of avocado, a little bit of fake crab, and one skinny piece of shrimp about the length of my thumb wrapped with a few thin pieces of cucumber. So if you're the type of person to bring half your meal home, I highly recommend you order one level down from your normal tolerance. The second time I went for lunch, and got the red curry. The menu said it came with miso soup or salad, and I asked for miso soup but the woman gestured up to the small salad bar. Turns out, that day was chicken soup, and I'm pretty happy about it because I don't think I would have ever thought to order chicken soup from a Thai restaurant. I had two bowls, and I would have gotten more if I wasn't trying to leave room for my entree. It didn't work out anyway; even the lunch portion was huge, so half came home. Unbelievable deal, I think with tax and tip (I think I tipped $4?) my total was still only $16 and change. The service is phenomenal, the restaurant is clean, and they have won my heart.
