Now that we've gotten that out of the way... This has been my farmers market ever since I moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. What keeps me coming back isn't just what they have--it's who they have. The staff here has always made me feel like family. Whether it's the sweet gentleman who cuts the fresh pineapple, the gentleman preparing fresh coconut water, or the ladies at the checkout counters, everyone is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Those interactions may seem small, but they're a big part of why I continue to return year after year. Of course, the selection is incredible as well. This is where I buy most of my fresh fruit, a lot of my meat, and--let's be honest--my desserts too. Speaking of dessert, there is one item I absolutely have to mention: the fruit tart. I've tried fruit tarts from all over, and I can honestly say this market has my favorite one. Every single year, it's become my birthday tradition to pick one up, and I look forward to it just as much as the celebration itself. It really is that good. One thing I've always appreciated is the consistency. No matter which part of Georgia I've lived in over the past decade, I've continued making the drive because I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to have every time I walk through the doors. A couple of helpful tips if you're visiting for the first time: * While the parking lot can look busy, I've almost always been able to find a space. You may have to park a little farther away, but a few extra steps are well worth it. * Also, be sure to come prepared--this market accepts debit cards or cash only, so credit cards aren't accepted. There are plenty of farmers markets around Atlanta, but this one has always felt like home to me. Between the incredible selection, consistently fresh products, and the kindness of the people who work here, it's a place I'll continue returning to for years to come.

This has to be the greatest place on earth. I have never been here until recently. I remember when…read morethis location was a Publix and I could never understand why it changed. Was in the area decided to get a seeded watermelon but bought so much more. The fresh fish, all the foreign merch that's hard to find, the bakery pastries section! I love this place. So many options it's overwhelming. And they have cool items you can't get everywhere. And the prices I believe were great. My only issue is the customers/demographic/patrons. You will want to fight people in here! That's nothing against the store, but these people shopping are rude, crazy and insane. Lots of foreigners, etc. From the moment you walk in, it's like a relay mad dash to the merchandise. Literally almost got ran over twice and had to wait like I was at a red light for foot traffic to pass so I could go down an aisle! Absolute madness. I cant stand the people in there shopping and their obnoxious kids, but that in mind, mentally prepare, super cool place to grocery shop. It's out of my way, so I can't imagine when I'd be back but I highly recommend.

I highly suggest checking them out for produce, they have all international produce at an amazing price point. They always have great detergent, biscuits, rice, noodles, tea, and bakery deals. They also have a small pharmacy and an Asian restaurant inside. The staff is friendly and fast on checkout. This place is always packed so it's a little hard to navigate through the store on Sundays. They also have utensils and some home goods items. Overall great price and selection of groceries. There is ample of free parking. They also have a loyalty program that offers one free item every Friday. They accept all major credit cards, cash, and ebt. They do not charge a processing fee for card transactions.

Ample free parking around the church area. Very welcoming and nice people. The Tucker Farmers Market brings together area farmers and artisans to offer their products to the community. Their mission is three-fold: 1) to support small, local businesses and independent producers like ourselves and to encourage people to "buy local"; 2) to encourage community between Vendors and their customers; and 3) to promote the continued rejuvenation of the Main Street Tucker area. If you are in the area, please visit and you will definitely like it.

But anywho, if you need a reason to visit, just do it!! The market is open year round with most vendors returning every week. There were a lot of gluten free vendors, fresh eggs, fresh vegetables, pickles vegetables, a mushroom vendor with different varieties of mushrooms, coffee, jewelry, everything! There is also free parking in designated areas. You can also buy prepared food from other vendors below. It's overall a very nice market. I don't go as often as I would like but if you are near the area or just like a good farmers market, give this one a try. It's also connected to a park so your kids can have a little fun while you explore.

The Avondale Estates Farmers Market was no exception for me; it's pretty terrific. There were maybe about 30 vendors with all sorts of goods up for grabs: produce, pastries, prepared foods, teas, housewares, stuff for pets, international cuisine, jewelry, soaps, and more. Most proprietors seemed to accept both cash and credit cards. They were all smiling and some even offered samples. The Avondale Estates Farmers Market is located in a roomy parking lot next to My Parents' Basement (also a neat spot). Speaking of parking, the official website for this market doesn't mention any parking options. It seems like attendees were just parking on the streets behind the market. Some people might've been parking in lots for businesses closed Sunday, but I'm not sure. The market is held Sundays shine or rain, from 10 AM to 1 PM, all year round
