Naked Clean and my wonderful cleaner Luci did a fantastic job. It was easy to coordinate any changes with the customer service team. Luci worked quickly and did a thorough job. I hired naked clean for a deep clean of my home. They gave me 3 cleaners for 1 hr. I said on the phone I wanted to make sure the window sills were cleaned because those were pretty dusty/dirty. When they finished I was disappointed. None of the window sills were cleaned, felt my room wasn't vacuumed except for on the carpet (I have all hard wood floors), nor was my shower cleaned at all. I would not hire them. I think all they did was wipe down surfaces read more

Definitely not the deep cleaning I was thinking it was going to be. My glass patio door did not get cleaned. The blinds were not cleaned the dirt was just smeared all over the place. Two of my blinds didn't get touched. I feel like I wasted $180. While Rosa was cleaning my second floor I was on my first floor cleaning the blinds and I have attached a photo of the blinds I cleaned vs the blinds Rosa cleaned. It took her 3 hours. I also would have appreciated it if someone advised me Rosa only spoke Spanish. I only speak English and I don't like not being able to communicate with someone in my home for a service I am paying for who does not speak English. Or at least bilingual. read more

After two attempts, two different sets of people couldn't efficiently clean my 300 square foot studio apartment for $135. (A three hour minimum for two people.) During the second clean I received a phone call that the stains on my kitchen counter were "permanent." They aren't. They just needed to use the Bon Ami I left out for them. I was at a public event and didn't intend to give a "try a scrub" cleaning 101 advice. Trash was not taken out. Crumbs left on stop top the first time. Nothing was moved by either team of people. Desk and counter that could have been easily pulled out were not and everything was vacuumed and mopped poorly with nothing moved, lint and hair and crumbs left. I thought they dusted at first only to realize after the second team left that nothing was dusted. I received no follow up call from anyone asking how the service was after the second service attempted to make up for the first. The first team couldn't even be bothered to use a toilet brush to get the ring out of my toilet. Literally the easiest thing a cleaner could do. The top inside of my microwave was left dirty twice. No one could be bothered to swipe a rag over that even though I asked for them to do it the second time. I had to dust my own shelves and clean my own tiny stove top and microwave after both teams left. My blinds weren't touched. I could literally see the lint and crumbs left on the carpet from where they vacuumed. Or did they even vacuum? I had to vacuum myself. I asked them to clean the inside of the cabinets since I was paying for three hours. "Do you mean around stuff?" I was asked by the woman on the phone. Umm sure. Even that wasn't done. I have a video of me taking a paper towel to my book shelves to show the layer of dust they left. They charged me for a minimum of three hours, stayed one hour and did a crappy job and then came a second time and couldn't seem to do it properly. Waste of time and money. I agree with other reviewer who suggests to call BBB. read more

I had the same experience as all the other negative reviews. Obviously poor cleaning, no attention to detail, demonstrobly lacking competency. When I complaind I was told by Brenda "Typically it is not standard for the maids to clean the door tracks as they do not have the professional tools to do so." Its called a vacume Brenda. The utterly incompatant employess emptiend only 1 of the 4 trash cans, smeared some dirty towl on our dinning table, and did not vacume. Brenda suggested that it was my fault for not telling them what I wanted done. Any 5th grader would know. I called a maid service to clean a condo. I agreed to a total of 3 hours. They left after 2.5 and did not actually clean anything. And they refuse to give me credit or a refund. The BBB is going to hear about this. I encourage everyone who has had this same experience with this business to register a complaint with the BBB. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/carlsbad/profile/house-cleaning/naked-clean-1126-171984817 The pattern of shotty work, bad communication, refusall to refund money when work was demonstrably not preformd and continual placating by Veronica D. of peoples concerns all indicate a pattern of a scam. read more

Update: They did the right thing and refunded the amount over the original capped agreement plus a bit more due to the choppy work. They called twice to talk about issues. I appreciate the response and initiative to rectify the situation, so I'm changing my review to 3-stars. Where to begin...we called to schedule a deep cleaning and were told we would get 2 maids for 4 hours, capped at $450. Four maids showed up, and we were told they would be there for 2 hours. This is directly opposite of what I was informed and the contract I signed. When you have four maids at once, it is too many cooks in the kitchen, and items get missed. Plus, they arrived 6 minutes late. The actual cleaning was inconsistent; some areas were done, and other areas were not done correctly. For instance, they cleaned our coffee pot and air fryer wonderfully, but the kitchen counters were not done well and still had caked-on food. Plus, I was charged over $500 for a spotty job even though I told them to cap it at $450 and signed a contract saying it would be capped at this amount. Needless to say, I will not be using them again. read more

Isabel did an amazing job cleaning my bare wood floors and dusting every surface within my home in 3 hours. I would highly recommend asking for Isabel, as she knows exactly what it takes to do a complete, 100% perfect cleaning job! Where do I begin. I have a rental property that needed a move out clean. I called, they called me back. Couldn't give me a date to clean so whatever. Called me back 4 days later and gave me a date. Ok. Estimated 7.5 - 8 hours of cleaning (between 2 housekeepers) and told me, "...if they need to take longer they will let you know...." Hmmmmm Day of, housekeepers were late. When I showed up at the property, I walked up stairs where they were just standing in the bedroom talking. I introduced myself, told them I appreciated them and showed them a few things, then the one asked who cleans the house I am living in. I said no one. She proceeded to tell me that she would clean it, not through Naked Clean, and I could pay her directly; this way it would be cheaper for me. So, this company sub contracts all of their housekeepers and they aren't in the least bit loyal. Also, when I checked after they left, there were many spots where they didn't clean, i.e. visible dirt on the floor, cob webs in the corner and smut inside the microwave and on top of the stove. They also didn't clean the garage, as agreed upon when I booked them. I sent photos to the company and they offered to have them back to reclean. Due to timing, that wasn't gonna happen, nor did I want them back. When my bill came, they tried charging me for 9 hours. WHAT? After telling them that a) I would not pay for that many hours and b) they didn't even clean well the first time, I was greeted with another few days of no information. I thought if they wanted money, they would get it together and then I would pay. The last time I spoke to them, they told me "If you don't pay by x date, we will send your account to a collection agency". SHOCKED AND DISMAYED. Naked Clean...... you lost my business and anyone who asks me about you. Terrible customer service. Terrible business model. read more

I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone and they are extremely attentive and well staffed. Rosa and her cleaning partner did a very thorough job for us on a recent spring deep-clean. They even cleaned things even I didn't even have on my list! Great service - they pair you up with a local maid (or multiple) and take care of all the logistics. Pricing is straightforward, $40 per hour per maid. You can pay via credit card as well, which is always a plus! They gave me a solid estimate and stuck to it. The maid who came was Marilyn and she was fantastic. We asked her to do as much in 1.5 hrs as possible and she did the entire kitchen (including appliances), plus a master bath and a guest bath. Very satisfied with her work! read more

I found these guys after a failed attempt to hire Tidy, and I'm so glad I did! There was a bit of a rough start due to the answering service they use during the periods when their office is closed, but from the time I spoke with Veronica at their office, until the completion of my cleaning, it's been 5-Star service all the way. I used to spend 2-3 hours every Saturday cleaning my place. Now, I can enjoy my weekends off, but still get to enjoy having a spotlessly clean living space. And for a very reasonable price, too! As for Covid protections...they wore masks the entire time, and I feel my place is probably safer from Covid now, than it was before they came. I am very happy with the service I received, and have signed up for cleaning every 2 weeks. I highly recommend Naked Clean! read more

Thanks for your reply. This was actually stuck in the outbox for quite some time as this service was provided a few months ago. I actually did send you an email with a bunch of pictures and spoke to you and the response that I got back from you or the company was we're sorry you're not satisfied. No offer was made for any type of refund or rectification. No thanks I wouldn't like their service back I've hired another service and they're doing just fine. My review remains I would not recommend this service as the contracted service providers in my experience are not very good. read more

I highly discourage anyone from using Naked Clean for a move out cleaning. I contacted Naked Clean for a move out cleaning and was assured their cleaners perform this type of service. When the three cleaners arrived, I walked through the apartment and pointed out each of the areas that needed to be cleaned. The cleaners assured me they would fully clean the oven, all appliances, the cabinet fronts and inside, the bathrooms, and the carpet. One of the cleaners asked me for my number then proceeded to call me, so I had her number. She assured me that she would call me 30 minutes before the cleaners were done, so I could inspect before they concluded the cleaning. The cleaner never called me. Instead, I received a call from Kathy from the office informing me the cleaners had left my apartment (which they left unlocked), but that there was an active leak with my toilet and I needed to go there immediately to find out what was going on. Kathy informed me the cleaners stated there was no leak when they arrived and the leak only started after they began cleaning the toilet. She also stated the cleaners said there was a lot of water on the floor, which they tried to clean up, and that they had put a bucket under the toilet before they left. I later discovered the cleaners had gone into my garage, despite me asking them not to go into there, and went through my stuff to find a full bucket I had tucked behind several other items at the far back of my garage. The cleaners proceeded to dump the items out of the bucket, resulting in them knocking an open can of cleanser into a box of wine and over other personal items. When I arrived at the unlocked apartment, I found the leak and inadequate cleaning left by the cleaners. I immediately called maintenance to repair the leak. After repairing the leak, maintenance noted that my apartment required additional cleaning to meet the require standards for move out and I would be charged for the necessary cleaning after my move out. I immediately contacted Naked Clean to discuss the situation. I was told the company will not issue refunds and instead the only remedy is to have another cleaner come back out to the apartment. After significant back-and-forth, I scheduled an appointment for the next day. When the two cleaners arrived, I again walked through each of the areas that needed to be cleaned. Before I had a chance to point out certain things during the initial walk through, one of the cleaners began pointing out issues with the prior clean. The cleaner expressed her disappointment with the prior cleaners and assured me she would take care of it. The cleaners then proceeded to spend hours cleaning the apartment that the three original cleaners claim they had cleaned the day prior. When I began pointing out a few areas that had not yet been cleaned, one of the cleaners began getting annoyed by me. For example, I had asked her to clean the interior of the oven and the front of the cabinets. A little while later, she called Naked Clean and made comments about how I was too picky and had pointed out things I wanted clean. It became increasingly clear the cleaners did not expect to spend so many hours doing a complete move-out clean, likely because they assumed the cleaners the day prior did their job. As a result, the cleaners began rushing and became even more annoyed when I pointed out outstanding issues. After the cleaners left, I contacted Naked Clean and expressed my concerns about still being charged by my apartment given the remaining issues with the cleaning. Later that evening, I met with Monica and my apartment's management to walk through the apartment. During the walk through, the apartment manager raised the same issues I had with the inadequate cleaning of the oven and kitchen area. Before leaving the apartment, Monica asked if I would grant the cleaners access to return the next day. I hesitated and told her I was fine with apartment management letting the cleaners in; however, I asked that the cleaners be asked not to go into my garage given my prior experience with the cleaners going into my garage without permission. Monica immediately got snippy with me and at one point accused me of being wrong about a conversation she was not even present for. Apartment management could sense the hostility in the room and offered to supervise the cleaning the next day, which she did do. Although, the apartment is now finally up the standards needed for move out, all of this was not worth the hassle I had to go through with Naked Clean. It is completely unreasonable for a company that offers move out cleanings to need to send three sets of cleaners in order to properly complete a standard move out cleaning. My suggestion is to avoid Naked Clean unless you wish to deal with the hassle of the cleaners having to fix their own mistakes multiple times before the job is finally done properly. read more

Disappointed. They simply did not deliver as agreed. Booked a pre-party cleaning. Set an arrival time and price. The crew showed up way too early and wanted to start but that was not possible. Major hassle. They left and started another job, not mine as agreed! So they came to my house really late, causing us a lot of worry that they were going to screw up our party. They added a third worker who left early. The workers worked in the same room and chatted a lot. Didn't seem to get much done for the $$$ we spent. They did an OK job on the few things they got to. And did I mention they didn't come on time, chatted a lot and it was a serious hassle? Why can't a service simply come on time, do their job, for the money agreed? I'm sure they will offer an apology and give excuses but the fact is they didn't do what they agreed to do. Disappointing. read more
