This charming place makes me want to get back to getting my physical books. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were doing a Girl Scout cookie booth that they were so thoughtful to allow us to have. I will be returning soon to make a purchase because it was a couple of books I saw I would like! They also have the cutest room for kids which I'll bring the girls back to as well. Visit them... you won't be disappointed!

What a fun store! I came by Saturday after stopping by the new coffee shop just around the corner…read more I was welcomed by one of the owners and had such a nice time chatting and browsing. I thought that everything was beautiful and really loved the reading nooks that were in two of the rooms. I like that they had a nice little mix of items available for sale. I even eyed a vintage coin purse and some glass candlesticks.

They have almost everything here from flooring to doors to paint to handsoap. I bought several of their transition strips for flooring. Only $1.00....a fraction of the cost at other places I looked at like Home Depot (about $11-19) and Southeastern Salvage ($5.00). I was overwhelmed in some parts. The staple and nail selection! So many options for sizes....or to me....so many ways for me to buy the WRONG size!! I think this store is an "all sales final" place too. Even more nerve wrecking..... I've encountered so many associates here, and they have all been super friendly and helpful. One guy was helping my dad and I move pipes into our truck. My dad was very rude to him, and he kept his composure the whole time! If you need something (other than like food)...go ahead and come here and you'll probably find it.

Located right behind Little Donkey, this Fair Trade store has gifts, toys, clothing, and accessories for your wardrobe and home that cannot be found elsewhere. Each item you purchase comes with a name and a story - whether on the tag or display, it's easy to find out exactly where your purchase came from or who made it. The owners, Scott and Jame, have a heart for this business that gets artisans paid fair wages and unique items into the homes of Birminghamians. They are also extremely welcoming in their space, and walking inside feels like walking into a comfortable living room. I highly recommend checking out Kanzi for a unique shopping experience.

I saw about the sale on TikTok, and knew I had to stop by! The entire front room is mostly unmatted, unframed prints, all only $10! They're really interesting, gorgeous, antique things. They have music sheets, pressed flowers, all very European looking. I did buy one $10 print that was matted, starting a collection for a future gallery wall! In the back room, most framed prints are half off, and all unframed, matted prints are $75. I bought a matted print of some butterflies! They had a lot of botanical things already matted. This shop is beautiful. Avoid the mass-produced art, support local, and find something nobody else has here. It's worth stopping in for the inspiration alone. The man working here was incredibly kind, and definitely overwhelmed by the amount of people who had discovered his shop via TikTok! I would recommend following them on Instagram to stay posted on what their next steps are.
