I believe that the store is simply less square feet than other locations, their are not a whole lot of options in here. I was looking for a rug pad and found only carpet padding and nothing big enough for what I needed. Nobody really offered to help me either. The merchandise seems to be fairly disorganized, I was disappointed. But, it gets some jobs done. I made some copies of a key. The machine was very kind to me.

A woman made eye contact with me like she was waiting for me to speak and I asked her about where the potting soil was. She said "you think just because I'm black that I work here? We don't want your kind here, now get out." She was screaming at me. Customers do not make that kind of eye contact with other customers that is not normal. That's why I thought she worked there. I went back to the entrance of the store and talked to the store manager. I had them call the cops. I couldn't report the incident because they didn't get the other people information. After the police left, I went back to the garden center to get what I needed and I heard the store manager talking to the cashiers laughing and saying " yeah, right like we're going to give out our information" I will never return to any store in that area. It was scary. Beware. Manager did not say anything about store security or anything to me.

The set screwa were too short and you can imagine the issues with the knobs pulling off. I tried lots of solutions including loctite blue which helped the screwa stay in placew, which helped, but never addressed the issue that the sets screws were simply too short (but we would have to get in a time machine to the 1940s to complain to the manufacturer) * A national hardware store had test openings that showed the screws were sized "1/4 - 20" but they didn't have the actual screws and the guy that was helping me said no one did * The owner of a mom and pop hardware store told me that longer set screws did not exist at all and that I needed to look at an antique store. He wouldn't even check * Then I went to Little Hardware at a Friend's suggestion.. I walked in and the guy who helped me introduced himself and shook my hand. He measured the set screw I had as "1/4 - 20" just like you he big retailer. He then immediately found matching sets screws that were longer (see photo). I had to buy a hex tool to entire I could connect the 4 screws on both knobs. The entire purchase was $15 but I would have paid a lot more to get these knobs right. And now, for the first time since we bought our old house I feel confident in our old door knobs Thank you Little Hardware -- I'm a customer for life!

These are very pretty tiles, and while not cheap are sold at a reasonable rate via South Cypress. South Cypress does include a few extra sheets in each batch sold as they do crack sometimes in shipping, but for the most part shipping is trouble free. Incidentally, If you are installing these thin glass tiles, would highly recommend you work with a contractor that has specific and heavy experience cutting glass tile, as they are not all created equal. We had a major problem in the middle of our project where we ran low on tile. I paid over $185 to have the extra tile expedite shipped next day Fed Ex priority overnight to complete the job. Unfortunately, the shipping company South Cypress uses got the wrong address and sent it to another city, delaying my project for a day and costing me additional non-work labor hours. While that was inconvenient, I have to credit South Cypress for going the extra mile on trying to make up for that costly snafu. They refunded the rush shipping charge and gave me that extra box of tile free of charge for the trouble. Big credit to Michael Clark, customer service, for the extra follow up and high level of communication and effort. That deserves high praise - it's nice to see an organization so committed to service that they would do that without even asking. For that reason, I recommend South Cypress and will definitely order product from them again for other projects in the future.
