Excellent selections!! Quality jewelry! I have purchased several pieces and have been pleased with every purchase.

I have a unique shaped engagement ring and spent 7 months looking for a band with no luck. I was quoted insane amounts at box stores to custom a contour band. Scrolling on Google I found Levy's posting of a unique contour band... I called and spoke with Paige explaining my unique ring and asked for more pictures and to put a hold to let me try it on. Paige was eager to help and messaged me. I drove 3 hours on a Tuesday, went in Paige presented the ring and it fit magically! I was ecstatic, we purchased and they said it would be resized in house and they would be able to ship it to me. I received a call Thursday of the same week they were shipping and now it is Friday and I have my beautiful wedding band. I will definitely make the drive to be a returning customer of Levy's!!! Cannot thank Paige enough!! read more

Back again to seperate my band and resize. I also broke a bracelet I just got so had to get that fixed up too! I had to bring in my literal wagon since I had the kids with me and it was my worst nightmare: a toddler around expensive breakable things!! The staff were so kind and even kept my son busy while I explained my jewelry updates. I felt like I was in here for four hours but with their help it went as smoothly as possible. Thanks for my beautiful updates. My rings look incredible! read more

Levy's has excellent vintage, estate and antique pieces. Ann helped us find something I truly love. Wonderful customer service!

Awful customer service. Waited over an hour to speak to someone about engagement rings. Made eye contact with several employees. Was told they'd be with me "in just a second". Then they would go have consults with other customers who arrived after me. Wasted so much time waiting and driving there. Don't bother, they do not care about you. read more

This store has beautiful estate and unique pieces of jewelry. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Parking is limited but there is also paid parking. read more

I went to buy a retirement gift for my boss. The representative (Joseph) was very attentive. He listened to our needs and was very patient with us while we made up our minds. He let us browse around without hounding us, but he helped us by answering our questions. After we picked out our item, it was gift wrapped nicely and we didn't need to do anything else. Our boss loved the gift, as Levy's is her favorite jewelry store. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit. read more

Was referred to this place from a jewelry store in Mobile. I happened to be driving through Birmingham the same weekend so I stopped in to see if they would take a pendant I was looking to sell. They didn't waste my time and the gentleman assisting me offered a very fair price. In and out in 15 minutes. Would recommend! read more

The atmosphere is vintage and eclectic fine jewelry. There is something for everyone. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. Every customer to them is valuable and accommodated no matter the reason for stepping into the store. I love Levy's because they have it all: staff, jewelry and meeting needs of customers. read more

Absolutely fab experience with Brenton! I went in after a friend had a GORGEOUS ring on her hand and complimented her. She told me about Levy's and I stopped by. Absolutely gorgeous pieces and stellar customer service!! I will return. read more

Learned about this place through word of mouth. Not sure if i had seen a commercial, however I'm glad I stopped by. The collection is unique, beautiful, and the staff seems eager to help and can provide tons and tons of information and suggestions. All other places felt more corporate, and their jewelry seems cookie cutter. Would recommend you at the very least make this a place to stop and see for yourself if you're looking for jewelry. I'm sure you'll be impressed. read more

The atmosphere is nice!!! Professional and knowledgeable customer service. Great quality jewelry to handle any budget . I was going with my girlfriend to pick up a piece of jewelry that she was having reset. I've never been in the store before and we went in on a Saturday. They were very busy. However the owner came out to help her and she liked it very much. While we were there I had my girlfriend look at rings that she liked. The next week I called Breton who showed us the rings. Breton was very helpful and eager to earn my business. I've seen some of the other reviews on here and they're not a discount store. You're getting high quality and a great family reputation. If you're looking for something unique and a store that will stand behind what they sell this is a great place. Be sure to ask for Breton, he knows his inventory and is willing to work with you. read more

I walked in for the first time to Levy's and met Kim. We hit it off like we were old friends! The store is amazing and has some really wonderful treasures. I highly recommend Kim and Levy's if you are looking for any type of fine jewelry. read more

Where to begin? I have been dating my boyfriend, now fiancé, for about six months. I had shown him a total of maybe 5 rings off Instagram with the bezel setting that I like. He met with Joseph at Levy's and the beauty that followed is unreal. Joseph helped him design my custom ring and it is everything I could've dreamed of and more. I cannot stop staring at it! Levys has made my ring dreams come true. Thanks again Joseph. We will be back for our custom jewelry needs for sure! read more

Levy's Fine Jewelry - The ring of my dreams - Jewelry Near Me - Birmingham, Alabama

We have worked with the wonderful folks at Levy's for over 30 years with numerous associates and family members assisting us. Consistently, their staff and owners are knowledgable, helpful, patient, and engaged. The customer service is stellar. They have an incredible variety of one of a kind estate jewelry, plus a huge selection of new pieces. They also have made beautiful custom jewelry for us over the years and appraised jewelry we already had. Levy's also operates off a lower margin than many of the other jewelry stores in town, so you get more for your money. I give them my highest recommendation. read more

I am so happy with my experience with Levy's. This is my second piece of jewelry that I have had custom-made. I received a family heirloom ring. Kim was fabulous and helped me redesign the ring into something that was wearable and my style! The ring is absolutely stunning and better than I could have imagined. Kim was fabulous at communication and she took the time to listen to why it was so important to me. She helped me design the ring into something I can wear for years to come. Hopefully one day I will be able to pass it along. read more

I have been going to Levy's since 2008 and I love that store, talking about exquisite jewelrys !everything is beautiful!! I am not much of a jewelry person, but when I go there, I am losing my composures. i may look around other competitive jewelry stores, but I ended up to Levy's every time. If you need anything jewelry related go to Levy's. I've gotten a gold chain repaired here and they were really quick with getting it back to me. She helped us find something that my girlfriend (future wife to be) loved and I will definitely be going back for any of my future jewelry needs! read more

Kim did a great job with my custom order wedding band. If you need something custom done, ask for Kim!

Great selection. Chatham is knowledgable, fun, and professional. One-of-a-kind establishment. Thanks for a great experience.

Went in to buy a wedding band for myself, heard they are super friendly and great service. The representative that helped me was neither. She was a shorter middle aged woman with short curled brown hair, I forgot her name bc of how condescending she was. I told her I needed something simple, nothing too crazy of price. She immediately showed me some rings, price range $750+. When I said that was a bit too expensive, and asked about the Tungsten and Titanium rings they had in their display case, she said word for word "no you don't want those" and immediately started showing me rings that ranged $700+. I saw a ring I liked in the case she was showing me, and voiced that to her. She said "yeah that one is nice" then looked at the price tag ($250) and said "oh no wonder"....needless to say that was when I checked out mentally. Was going to ask about resizing my grandfather's ring but couldn't even bare to look at her face anymore, had to get out of there. One of the most condescending and snotty places I've ever been too. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. read more

Best jewelry store in town. If you like vintage rings/necklaces, this is the place to go. I bought my wife's engagement ring in NY (110 years old) and brought it to Levy's for refurbishment. When I got it back, it was in perfect. They know what they are doing. We also both purchased our wedding bands from them along with a Victorian necklace that I gave my wife for a one year anniversary gift. Levy's also has a good selection of vintage watches. I don't really understand why most people would rather have a cheap quartz watch when there is so much history in vintage. They are definitely the best place in Alabama to go to find a huge watch inventory ranging from $100 - $10,000. They do not carry cheap throwaway watches. read more

I asked to have my watch repaired today The guy who did it was very nice However the other employees there were talking about other customers very rudely. Especially the blonde lady with short hair and he gentleman with the goatee/beard. read more

Visiting a jewelry store is never high up on my list of things-to-do... But Levy's isn't your ordinary jewelry store. If anything, it feels more like a museum filled with beautiful and intriguing curiosities. Even if you're not looking to buy anything it's hard to not become entranced by it's shiny spell. Levy's keeps up with modern brands (especially when it comes to diamonds and watches) but their bread and butter comes from antique and estate jewelry, which results in them having lots of rare and / or one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Some of the pieces are immediately ready to hit the sales floor, while others are cleaned up and restored by Levy's amazing staff -- think of them as both artists and archaeologists. It's that last bit that gives Levy's a competitive edge to any jewelry store anywhere: Not only can they fix most anything you bring there way but they can also take bits and pieces of old jewelry and create something brand new. Everyone at Levy's has a genuine passion for what they do -- after all, it's in the blood (Levy's has been family owned and operated since 1922). There are no high-pressure sales techniques, rather a dedicated staff who are as excited about what they have in the store as you surely will be. read more

Oldest most reliable jewelry store in town

I visited Levy's today, and was welcomed in, not as a customer only, but warmly welcomed as a friend would open their home to another friend. I had an item I wanted appraised and possibly to sell at some point, and was treated very fairly, and was offered a more professional appraisal of my item than at any other store, not to mention the price offered was much higher than any offer I had. I was also honored to meet mrs. Rhoda, the precious lady you hear on the commercials. She is exactly as sweet as she sounds in the ads. Long story short, I was very pleased with the price offered, the service I received, the personal attention that was afforded to me and my son, and the warmth and hospitality of this fine establishment. I will be a return customer! Thank you, Donny Wood. read more

I can't compare my visit to Brittani's, but I can advocate that Levy's is a great, well-established jewelry store in Birmingham. I recently decided to have my great-grandmother's antique engagement ring repaired so that I can enjoy it. I had it repaired once before at a shop in Crestline Village, but the repairs did not hold up more than 6 months. I visited Levy's to make sure that the repairs were done well and long-lasting. The gentleman who helped me spent a good deal of time looking over all that needed to be done for the ring. There were parts I was unaware had been damaged! Anyway, it took only a couple of weeks and I've enjoyed the ring everyday since then!! This is not a pawn shop. Just as I was given a trade-in value or a sale-value on my car from Drivers Way recently, one has to expect this changes from day to day. I was given 7 days to make my decision and I knew that they may change the offer. I hate that there was a miscommunication between Brittani and the staff at Levy's, but hopefully they will clear that up. Levy's has a great selection--don't let the previous review turn you away. read more

Kim and Jared were terrific, accommodating our changing wishes perfectly.

I love the personal attention I get at Levy's! Everyone there is so helpful. As soon as you walk in the door, someone is asking if you need help. I love the unique selection here. It is my very favorite jewelry store!! Thank you Joseph for always taking care of my jewelry "needs" !! read more

iI have heard about Levy's from their fabulous radio advertisements for several years now. I decided to use them to sell some jewelry that I had acquired over the course of my life and really didn't wear. I showed up at lunch time at Levy's and was immediately helped by a sweet man named Quentin. He was kind and patient and listened to my stories about my jewelry as he expertly evaluated my loot. I think I pretty much told him my life story in that short twenty minutes but he never once seemed annoyed nor rushed me along. I left happy and feeling like I had just visited some old friends. Could I have gotten a little more money somewhere else? Maybe, bit I got so much more. I know where I will go to buy more jewelry, Levy's is family now! Thanks! I have been working with Jary and Todd for about a year or so on a project to find a particular watch. I have been wanting a watch that was similar to my father's, who passed away several years ago. I wanted this particular watch because I fell that whenever I check the time several times a day, he is near me. I was not in a hurry but wanted it to get done right and boy, did I pick the right place with Levy's. Jary also took his time to find the best watch and a very reasonable price and was able to make the watch look brand new and gorgeous! I got it just in time for Mother's Day which made it extra special to me. I would reccomend Levy's to anyone who is interested in any type of jewelry, repair, making a unique piece, finding gorgeous vintage pieces, stones etc. Not only do they have great product and service, they spend time with you to make sure you are educated in the purchasing process. The commercial is so right, "It is like having a relative in the jewelry business." Thank you so very much, Simmy read more

I have had dealings with many jewelry stores in my lifetime, being a stranger to the area I ended up at levys dealing with Jared, I was impressed with him as soon as we started talking, I have been back several times since. They are about an hour from where I live and I pass dozens of other stores to get to theirs but I will never buy anywhere else again!!! I recently had a custom tie tack created by Jared, he knocked it out of the park, it is a piece I will treasure for years to come!!!! I only shop for jewelry a couple times a year but this man knows me by name even on the phone! I know he deals with thousands of people, but he even remembered what I did for a living, and asked about my job! They are more than just a store for me now, they are my friends! Best of luck in all you do Jared! You have a customer for life! Anyone considering looking for fine jewelry give them a try, ask for Jared he will take wonderful care of you!!!! read more

Levy's Fine Jewelry - Jewelry Near Me - Birmingham, Alabama

June 1st marks it! Levy's won for the ring my now FIANCÉ surprised me with! They were so good to both of us while we were browsing, questioning, and trying on rings, and I really appreciate how helpful they were to him while he was keeping it on hold, getting it sized, and going through the payment.. all while keeping me guessing. I still can't get over how perfect and stunning my ring is, and how it really makes me love him more each time I see it. Everyone working at Levy's was so good to us and excited for us; it's really moving and encouraging -- and fun, because they're not interested in sending you out with "just some ring." The staff really has been as genuine as the one-of-a-kind jewelry you can only find here. That said, we know where we'll be buying our wedding bands in the near future! read more

This is it for Birmingham y'all. The customer service has always been professional and sincere here for me. I have used them for over 20 years for everything from engagement ring to diamond studs to watch repair to gold chains. They are price competitive, knowledgeable, resourceful and unique. They do not put on airs or make you feel like a bull in a china shop. They are proudly Alabamian, but not brookies. Still, they have all the best selection of diamond goodies and unique antiques as well. If you don't know now you know. read more

Levy's has the best customer service, hands down, of any jeweler in Birmingham. Though they did not end up having what I wanted, they do have an amazing selection especially if you are into antique/estate jewelry that is more unique looking. The associates are knowledgeable of diamonds and stones (if they are not, there is always someone there who is). Whenever I have come here the associate will spend as much time with us as we need to help us find what we want. Do not waste your time at any other jeweler except for Levy's and Diamonds Direct (customer service there isn't nearly as good as Levy's but they also have a great selection). Bromberg's is excellent too but $$$. read more
