Dr. Weiner has been my primary care physician since 1984. He is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful…read moreperson. He literally saved my life in 1995 when he received a copy of a blood test result that my then-urologist had ordered. Dr. Weiner phoned me to alert me that there may be a problem, saying the urologist might want to do a scan. When I went to the urologist's office he told me that everything was OK, so have another test in 6 months. When I told the urologist about Dr. Weiner's call, he (the urologist) became miffed and said "If it'll make you feel better, we can do a scan." He did the scan and found I had prostate cancer. So I had a prostatectomy (needless to say, I didn't have that urologist do it). Since I was under the direct care of the urologist, Dr. Weiner was under no obligation to alert me as he did. Another time, the day before I was scheduled to fly to London to make a presentation at a professional seminar, I came down with an ailment. I phoned his office to see if he could see me on an emergency basis, and was told that the earliest he could see me was on the day of my flight. However, I went to his office the day before the flight and he worked me in during his lunch break--he gave me a prescription and some instructions, which fixed me up and I was able to take the flight to London. This was important to my career as I was invited back several times in later years to make presentations; had I missed that first invitation at the last minute, I may well not have been invited back. I could cite many other plaudits of Dr. Weiner's practice with me as a patient. He invariably returns phone calls the same day and spends all the time you need to talk. He has never kept me waiting more than a minute or two at most when I go to his office by appointment; again, he never rushes me through. Marshall H. Pinnix 7/27/07

Dr. Tun has been our family doctor for over 40 years, specializing in internal medicine. If you're…read morelooking for a take-a-number in-and-out computer age clinic type visit, he's not for you. Whether by appointment or a walk-in, expect a lengthy wait which will be quickly forgiven when it's your turn. Dr. Tun doesn't rush his patients because he takes the time to actually get to know them- and he remembers! He treats the person and not just the illness, much the same as the doctors of long ago. Through the little chats he can pick up signals of possible depression, anxiety, tension, etc, and looks for the possible causes and hints of a pending illness. Besides the general exam, he will remind you to get whatever up-dates you are due for and give you the required paperwork. During your visit, you're not watching a doctor looking at a computer, you are looking into the eyes of a doctor who truly cares about his patients and loves his job.

He's never asks for information from office visits to specialists, leaving him ignorant of the health of his patients. He wastes time during appointments talking with his home cable and Internet provider, with he initiating the calls. Hangs up on patients, mid discussion. Refuses to deal with insurance company on urgent matters. He's verbally abusive and a very poor listener. He's also mentally losing ground, which is obvious to all but some of the most geriatric of patients he serves. He has a large geriatric clientele. He has done many things worthy of having medical license rescinded/terminate. He's dangerous to the well being of patients. He's elderly and fails to keep up with any vaguely current info. He could easily kill you. Known now as a "pill pusher", all the worse as he doesn't understand the medications he prescribes. His knowledge of these is decades old. Avoid at all costs!
