If you have OCD or are incredibly particular about your nails this is the man to see. I have never had anyone pay more attention to the edges and the cuticles and the underside of my nail than Jacob. He pays extreme attention to every detail and goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable. He has a very mild manner and is the sweetest human being ever. My nails stay perfect for weeks at a times. This is nothing short of a miracle . I have a terrible habit of picking at any imperfection on my nails and usually have to go get my nails redone every few days. When I see Jacob I know they will stay good for weeks and weeks. AMAZING! That is all I can say. He can shape your nail perfectly. He is fast and his work is flawless. Nail art is gorgeous. From real flowers, stones, and designs there is nobody better out there for the cost. Then there is Linda her pedicure and massage is so relaxing. she takes pride in everuthing she does. She is very meticulous. There suite is clean and all the tools they use including the soon to scoop out the scrub are sanitized. I can't say enough great things about them both. They are also very accommodating with their appointments. They are a great and amazing team.

He really took his time and made sure the end product was up to par. I got a gel manicure for $30 and while it is on the pricier side, I'd say it's well worth it. Linda was doing my sisters nails and hers also came out beautiful! They both created a welcoming and chill environment. Highly recommend!

If I want to do a special design, he will be my go to because I am confident that he can do a replica or create a unique nail style. I had done acrylic, ombre style, polish gel with the airbrush. I am so happy I found him. The price is not cheap but it's worth the experience and quality. I recommend him and trust him to do another style where not many other nail places can do.

Jacob and Linda are hands down the best nail technicians in the valley! I am ridiculously picky about my nails. I research nail places like I do doctors. I was in search of places that can do an ombré in gel. Surprisingly there are not allot of places that can do that. Jacob is a master at it! And Linda is METICULOUS at pedicures! If you're looking to go on the weekends I recommend booking early, cause they book up fast!! read more

Small family operated salon in the area. Very professional and detailed and thorough. Linda is so friendly and nice , answers her messages quickly and tries to make her schedule work even though she is booked solid most of the time.. will come in early etc. Pricey compared to avg. prices for the area but you are getting your moneys worth.. great massage and a perfect pedicure. read more

AMAZING WORK! I absolutely LOVE Jacob and Linda. I've been to so many different nail salons, and they are THE BEST. I've been going to them for years. They are SO DETAILED in their work and use QUALITY nail polish. My gel nails literally last FOREVER. I've never had a chip ever! 0 stars! I booked an appointment for 1pm a week ago (7days ago) for two people. Came at 12:50pm he was busy with client but said to wait few minutes. At 1:17pm he comes to me and says he double booked himself and cannot take me. Really?!?!? Would not recommend him!!! So disrespectful!!! read more

Let me just say if your the type to have OCD of some sort Jacob and Linda are the ones to go to. I do nails my self and believe me your in great hands! Linda dose my toes and I have to say I'm supper sensitive when it come to toes I don't just go to anyone I do them my self or nothing lol.linda is very gentle she paints all the sides of your nail not like most people lol . Let me start by saying I've gone to Jacob for about a year and a half now and I am so proud of him for branching out on his own and starting his own new shop. Him and his wife Linda have been doing my nails and toes since he worked at the other nail shop and when he left there I hadn't had my nails done for about 7 months because I wouldn't let other techs touch them! Him and his wife will make you laugh while doing perfect work on your nails and toes and now that they're on their own they really get to be to be bosses. Quality products, perfectionist work and they're still quick! They are literally the only people I will let do my nails and I'm so glad they went into business for themselves! My boyfriend and I go here all the time and I'll definitely be telling all my friends about this amazing duo. Love them!!!! Come visit! read more

Haven't done my nails in a really long time, and I was not disappointed coming to NailsByJacob. I requested an appt. for a mani/pedi that came out clean and perfect. His wife did my pedicure while Jacob did my mani. They were really sweet and gave my toes and nails the perfect time and care they needed. They really do an amazing job and can't wait to come again and get a touch up or just get my nails done. read more

The first thing that sold me was location of the nail spa but what keeps me coming back is that my gel manicure lasted almost a month. I could have stretched my pedicure much longer but I like my hands and feet to be on the same schedule. Jacob is a really nice person and did a good job on my nails. However, he told me that gel nails were $30 with an extra $15 to take off the vinyl nails. (I wanted to go back to my own nails). It should have cost me $45. He ended up charging me $68!!! I was flabbergasted. I paid him but I wont be going back. Jacob, I understand you have to defend yourself but the price you charged me was outrageous. I've been doing my nails for years, never has anyone charged so much. You did a great job but it wasn't worth the price. read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I came back for a refill, and two days later was in some of the most pain I've ever been in due to a cuticle infection. I voiced concerns that my skin was being cut, but they were shrugged off. After coming into the salon to show them the infection, the front desk staff was polite and helpful advising they would reach out to the owner and share photos they took of the nail. Days passed and I followed up again via phone as I didn't hear back. The owner of the salon requested PHI pertaining to the infection, including what Rx I was on, in order to even consider a refund. Initially, a gift card for the amount spent on the service was offered in lieu of a refund. I mentioned I was not comfortable receiving another service, and received a call back letting me know the owner was willing to grant a refund. Overall, the back and forth took about a week and a half. I was new to the entire gelx process, and am posting this review to let anyone else looking to embark on that journey know they should ask questions and voice their concerns. There are seemingly many happy patrons, but this was my individual experience.
