There's a tv there the should use it to create a more relaxing vibe instead playing music off her second phone. I will say the manger saw that we were unhappy! My mom and my sister refused to get their nails redone. I respect that she tried to fix my nails and was very apologetic. I will be honest they need to upgrade their nail design options. I cook for a living there's no reason why after 7 days the rhinestones should be falling off. I wanted gold flakes they didn't have it, I asked for autumn leaves they didn't haven't them. Lady tried using stickers!!!!! Haven't seen that since the nail kits you get as a kid! I will post what I wanted vs what I got. Also originally my thumb nail was left one longer than the other and one lumpy. Pedicure was good just could have done a better job of shaving off the roof spots. Fortunately my mom has a foot device I was able to use once I left.

The total cost for 2 people was over $100. There were other reviews that influenced my decision to go to this location. DISAPPOINTED that I listened- Let's normalize being honest and forthright with product/service reviews. This was a total waste of money, and time as the shop did not "represent" as previously reported by others My "technician" DROPPED my brand new $12 OPI polish, spilling over half on the floor - I was not offered an apology or a discount DIRTY AND Unlicensed are the kindest words I can think to say. I do wish they had music - relaxing or happy - instead of the news on. It was hard to relax when I was hearing about crime in Michigan instead of music. My full set of acrylics were done well - but I usually walk out wishing a few details were paid attention to. They have never been done bad, and I do believe the prices reflect the skill level.

I happened to park in front of the nail salon and it said eyebrow tinting on the window. Normally I would've paid it no mind except I've been bombarded with brow tint videos on IG lately. So I took a chance. First, she waxed them. Then she line them up with a razor.. then she painted them on. Before she started, she asked me did I want them thick? resounding YES. I'm pleased with the result. They are perfect for my face shape and my nose. There were five people here--only two spoke passable English. I asked everyone for brow pictures and all I got was smiles and "yes yes yes yes yes sit down". So I pulled a pic from IG of how I wanted it. And she did a good job. There weren't any customers at the time, it was almost 11 AM Thursday, so I was taken right away. I don't know anything about the nails. I do my own nails.

Beauty doesn't always have to be painful. Haha!…read more I have been bouncing around searching for a nail salon for a few years now. Before I moved away from Detroit a few years ago, I had a regular nail tech. When I moved back, the salon didn't seem like the place for me. I have been searching ever since. Little did I know, there was a great nail salon practically around the corner from my home. After a Google search I found Alan Nails. Since my time was limited and the location is less than one mile away from home, I decided to give it a try. I am not a huge fan of the location, as the salon shares a parking lot with a liquor store. However, I visited early in the day and found the parking accessible and problem-free. Upon entry of the salon, I was immediately impressed. They have managed to decorate, creating a spa-like experience. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and filled with good vibes. Hannah welcomed me and took me right away. She was warm and kind and took great care with my nails. She discussed prices with me and we chatted about the various services offered. The salon offers trendy designs and colored acrylic. I will try both on my next visit. Hannah made sure that I was aware of pricing before performing service. I love my nails, and can't wait to visit again!
