The tech i went to has passed away and I had yet to find someone to replace him for my pedi ( I'm very loyal when it comes to my nail tech ) but Thein has stolen my heart ! Every single time my significant other goes to this place and gets stuck with a particular man (not the owner) she calls me immediately after, crying that she was touched inappropriately. This has happened to other customers too apparently and nothing is done about it. This is an older man, 50's or 60's touching a 23 year old and has an inappropriate desire to do so. All she wants to do is relax and she can't because he repetitively rubs her leg all the way to her inner thigh. He then puts the warm towel on her thighs and attempts to rub them again even though she told him to stop 10 attempts ago. It was very unprofessional and the people are rude and I had to wait to get talked to for 30 minutes when I called them and asked how many people were in line and they told me just come in and we will have someone right with you. So I proceeded to come in and receive horrible service. I had to wait 30 minutes when a person had not just one person working on her nails but two. Why two????? They are understaffed it looked like but had many nail stations. And the people talk bad about the customers in their language while laughing at you. The nails are mid. I'm an employee of Nail Station. The owner of the nail salon name is Khoi. When the customer gave me a tip, he takes some of the tips I earned for himself. This have been happening for awhile, I only found out because a regular came in gave me a tip and I found out later that I wasn't given the full amount. Well I have been going to this salon since they first opened, and I was very satisfied, until the management changed! I went this week and suddenly the manicure/pedicure I was paying $78.00 for is now $111.00, so being an enquiring mind I asked WHY? The person at the desk said, "Well you have to pay for polish." Now, mind you this was said while grinning like the Cheshire Cat that just ate Alice! ( Alice being me, because I certainly felt taken by a shifty cat!) Well, I paid, it not before voicing that I had never been to a salon where the polish was NOT included in service, nor will I ever go to another! I suppose the thing that really irked me was that this was not stated on the cost sheet, so it came as a surprise to me when I went to pay! Whether I can afford this or not is beside the point, the real crux of the issue is hidden costs! Yes I can pay it; yes I did pay it, and no it didn't hurt me; but what about the young lady out there that's saved for her nails to be done for Prom, or the elderly lady who comes on the shuttle from the assisted living center?Could they do the same! This is nothing now but a group looking to take advantage of customers, and I won't be back!
