Got my toes butchered. Paid for the premium pedicure, seemed rushed. I didn't want gel. They had to wipe off the polish since it never dried and re painted them. read more

Made an appointment for 3 pedicures, the lady who did my moms pedicure did not try to remove her nail polish with acetone. She assumed it was gel nail polish and drilled it off, they wanted to charge us for removing it and getting regular nail polish when we confirmed and advised it was regular nail polish to begin with. She was rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. The lady who did my pedicure over cut my nails and injured me, she over painted my toe nails and didn't bother to clean off. Made us feel very uncomfortable, overall poor service, quality and customer service. Over priced for the work they did. read more

Really bad service. I have been several times and not gotten what I paid for. When I asked the owner Leah about it - she said "I have nothing to say to you". Don't waste your money. read more

Not the most hygienic place. They don't clean up the station after every patron. I would suggest bringing your own nail tools.

This visit he called me a half hour before my appointment to tell me that he was not going to be at the shop until noon. I had made my appointment four weeks earlier. He said someone else would do my nails. I got there at 9:15 and no one showed up until 930 .Kim was going to do my nails and I mentioned to her that John said he would not be in until noon. she said no he was on his way in now. John came in 5 minutes later and a lady Followed him in, and he sat down and began to do her nails. The problem was is that I felt he had not shared the truth with me and did not want to do my nails and pretty much kicked me to the curb. I just don't think it was good Customer Service or was it kind to not share the truth. He obviously either overbooked, or truthfully, did not care to do my nails. Went into the shop while I was visiting Morehead. Asked for a small ampersand on my thumb. Mike,…read morethe shop owner, decided this would be a great piece for the apprentice and assured me that he wouldn't allow the apprentice to tattoo unless he had the utmost faith in him. I agreed, because I'm heavily tattooed and I think apprentices should get their chance to work on real customers. I regret allowing that to happen. We had to move the stencil six times. When he got to work, he couldn't follow the stencil. Eventually, we had to bring another artist in to try and fix his mistakes. It didn't look great. The healing process was terrible. I've never had such trouble with a tattoo. Most of the ink fell out and it doesn't even resemble an ampersand. It actually looks like I've got a prison tattoo on my HAND. Or something some teenager did with one of those beginner tattoo kits. Then the apprentice charged me $40 when Mike had previously quoted me $20. I felt bad for him too, because he tried so hard, so I gave him another $20. But this is not acceptable work. I would love to have my money back, especially now that my hand is permanently marred because of a serious lack of judgment on Mike's part. I wanted to write Mike directly before I left a public review, but the shop has no website or contact info so far as I can see. Anyway, if I were you, I would stay away from this shop or, at the very least, I wouldn't let the apprentice tattoo me.
