Edit: 518/25- Update: I received a call from my bank regarding my dispute, and was told the business claimed I returned to the store but did not mention the allergic reaction when having my nails removed. This is untrue. I clearly explained the situation at the time, and the manager apologized, stating that the staff were new and inexperienced. I have a full audio recording of the conversation. If the manager continues to misrepresent what happened, I'm prepared to make this recording public. I'm honestly shocked by the false and misleading claims in the owner's response. For full clarity: I never spoke to the person who wrote this, so it's extremely concerning that they're making assumptions and presenting false information as fact. Pricing was NEVER discussed or agreed on before my nails were done. Pricing was only told after my nails were finished. I got my nails done on May 7th and told the nail tech they were for EDC, which was happening May 16-18. She even joked that she wished she could go but couldn't because of work -- so she absolutely knew what and when the event was. I had them removed on May 15th, just a few hours before my flight. The only reason I waited was because of work. I was in town the entire time, dealing with intense burning and pain. What "vacation" are you referring to? That is completely false and misleading. I disputed the charge the very next day, not after removal, as they falsely claim. I've had Gel-X many times before, and what I experienced was not normal. The burning under the UV lamp was a 10/10 pain -- sharp, intense, and completely out of the ordinary. When I returned, the manager apologized, acknowledged that the tech had flooded my nails with too much gel, and said some workers were still new. She even asked me to remove my review, saying, "As Vietnamese people, we should support each other." As for the price gouging, I still stand by what I said. My friend was charged $80 for a basic clear set that wasn't what he asked for. The manager herself looked at the photo, agreed the price didn't make sense, and offered for him to come back and get it redone. It's one thing to defend your business -- it's another to completely lie and try to discredit your customer. As a fellow business owner, I find this incredibly unprofessional. I stand by my experience and hope others take this into account before booking here. read more

I wish I can give my experience a 5 star but here is my perspective of how my appt went. Typically I come here for my Gel X set and I appreciate their process because they are super friendly and professional. I called to make an appt and they were able to accommodate 3 pedicures that same day. We got there and the staff is really nice. We sat in our pedicure chairs and I asked the person who was completing my service, what he would recommend for my dad. My dad needed a foot scrub and no polish. Their standard classic pedicure is $35 and that doesn't include any scrubs so he suggested the $40 mint pedicure. He did share that if we wanted to do a paraffin wrap, that it would be $10 additional to the pedicure treatment. We didn't opt in because we chose the $40 that included a scrub. Once the service was done, we were really confused because they didn't scrub my dad's feet. The manager comes over and explains that the scrub is for the legs along with lotion and oil. It was disheartening to hear that the misconception from what was shared, wasn't what we wanted. She shared that we can add on the additional foot scrub but I told her that we would've done the classic pedicure with the add on if we were told this from the beginning. All in all, we didn't let our experience sway from tipping or continuing the conversation with the manager because they did the pedicure and it was nice. I did recommend to have a service for a demographic that prefer may not need polish with their pedicures but it sounds like most of their customer base requests polish. It is what it is but I still like this place and the staff - will probably go here for my Gel X sets only though. Hope this helps! read more

I was looking for someone who could do builder gel nails, and thankfully, this place offered that service. I called ahead before my visit and came in on a Saturday when the salon was quite busy. Upon entering, it felt like a factory operation--quick in and out. I was uncertain about the quality of the service, but I waited a bit until someone was available to assist me. I was assigned to Tai. Unfortunately, my hand slipped while he was using the drill. Thankfully, there wasn't any break in the skin; it just stung a bit. Tai reassured me that I was okay and apologized for the incident. I was a bit hesitant about having my nails done by him because he filed my nails as if he were playing the violin, which made me nervous that he might accidentally file my skin! Luckily, nothing of the sort happened. My nails turned out beautifully, and I was happy with how quickly he finished--within an hour. read more

I have been coming to nails please for years and have never had a bad visit. It is very easy to make an appt with them; you can call the salon or make an appt online. I've always made appt's online and I love that it sends me a text message notification the week of. The salon is so cutely decorated. There are two accent walls filled with flowers and on the weekend they have a snack table with various treats and beverages for customers. They have various nail services and among them a lot of different colors and designs to select from. Every time I come to my appt, they give me a basket of their color samples to select from. A BASKET of colors. For someone who isn't afraid of colored nails, I love the wide option! Nicki is my nail artist and she is amazing at her work. She is very meticulous and always makes sure that I love my nails before I leave. I also like that when I do want to try something new, I can show her a picture or explain what I'm looking for and she is able to re-create it. I'm so glad I found her and nails please that I look forward to every visit! read more

honestly the best nail salon i've gone to in fremont so far. i feel like the thing that sets them apart is their wide range of gel services like builder gel, gelX, etc. I've been getting my nails done consistently for about 10 years and quickly got over acrylics due to long term damage concerns. the owner can usually do the simpler designs i request but, i wouldn't recommend coming here for crazy, complicated designs. i like my nails long & extra and it gets the job done here lol :) i do keep coming back! the vibe of the spot is cute, although when it comes to appointments i find they're always falling a bit behind due to accepting so many walk-ins. over all, still love the place. read more

I have been a loyal customer for years and have always tipped generously, but after my most recent visit, I'm extremely disappointed and won't be returning. I brought my family in for a special day and spent $255 on our nails. Unfortunately, the service my 73-year-old mother received was unacceptable. The technician spoke to her in a condescending manner, making her feel uncomfortable and even a bit embarrassed. She was repeatedly told to "keep drying" without any real guidance, and the polish used on her nails was clearly low quality--it chipped almost immediately. Not only was the polish cheap the manicure looked like a child did it! The nails were filed to all different lengths. I expect a salon to treat all clients with respect, regardless of age or experience with nail services. The way my mom was treated was disappointing and unprofessional. Given how much I've spent here over the years, I expected much better. Sadly, I can't justify coming back after this experience. read more

$50 for a dip mani with extra thickness and glitter ombre. I've been going to Trammy and she's great, very thorough and her shaping is top notch. I appreciate that she checks multiple times throughout the session, to make sure that the color, shape and length are how I want it. The pricing is a little higher than I'm used to paying for dip, but I think it's worth it since the quality and color selection is better than other shops in the area. Parking is easy and the shop is always clean. I have yet to get a pedicure here but it's on my to-do list! read more

I've been going to Michelle for about 2-3 years now, and I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails. She always does an amazing job and is so patient and detail-oriented. No matter what design or idea I come in with, she takes her time to make sure everything looks perfect. What I really appreciate is that she genuinely cares about her clients -- she'll make any changes needed until you're completely happy, and you never feel rushed or uncomfortable speaking up. I always leave the salon satisfied with my nails. I really like this place. I always come here & they take really good care of me. HOWEVER. I came in to just have acrylics removed & a gel manicure & the lady didn't even take all the acrylic off. She just filed it down to be smooth w/ my actual nail. When I saw she did that I changed my mind from gel to regular manicure bc I didn't want the gel to cure over the remaining acrylic. She didn't put much effort into it & half assed the whole thing. Then when I paid, she just pocketed the cash & didn't give me a receipt. I didn't press the issue bc I don't mind because I know they get taxed on documented transactions. The other techs & the service there are overall great. But this experience was not. read more

Since the pandemic it's been difficult to find a nail shop that I can build a relationship with but this shop has made it easy to connect with. The staff is extremely friendly and sweet, the facility is very clean and offers many services! I've been getting my nails done since I was 15 and have been to many shops but with the time changing so are prices and with the inflation happening everywhere don't think you can get away with "cheap sets". They are fair for the quality of service they provide.
