I've been going to this nail salon lately yesterday I had an upsetting experience. The guy who serviced me was aggressive, argumentative, and clearly had a temper. First, during my pedicure, he started filing off the old polish instead of removing it with polish remover. He just assumed I had gel on without asking. When I gave him a heads-up before he started polishing that I was getting regular polish on my feet, he said, "You had gel polish before." I told him no, I never get gel on my feet. He replied, "Yeah, because it was powder," and I had to say again, more sternly, "I never get gel on my feet -- and regardless, I'm telling you I'm not getting it now." He then started aggressively speaking to his coworkers in their language, which felt rude. I let it go, but the back and forth annoyed me. People in that salon always try to pressure you into getting gel. Personally, I don't see the point of getting gel polish on my feet because it lasts long regardless. On top of that, he focused more on massaging my calves than actually doing my feet, and overall, the pedicure felt rushed and rough. Then we moved on to my full set. He was shoving my hands and being really aggressive. He asked what length I wanted, and when I told him I wanted them longer than where he had the nail clipper, he barely moved it at all. Like... if you don't do well with medium-length nails, just say that. Right before he started polishing, I noticed all the nails on my right hand were leaning to one side. I pointed it out, and instead of trying to fix it, he went back and forth with me again. He started talking about how he did a "trick" -- I don't know if he's just used to arguing with customers, but I don't do public outbursts. I calmly asked if someone else could polish my nails so I could just leave. The energy in there was depressing, and he clearly had an attitude. He stood up and called over one of the women, who tried to explain the "trick" instead of just fixing the issue. He kept going off in his language, then started yelling at me, saying I could ask anyone there and that he's been doing nails for seven years, etc. I just kept repeating, "Why are you arguing with a customer?" He finally said "okay," walked off, and kept ranting in his language. To stand over me yelling like that is insane. The lady who ended up polishing my nails tried to fix them, but I was too upset and ready to go. She even admitted my nails looked slanted and "kinda crazy." read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. This was sadly my first and last time coming to this salon. Although a very nice set up, the customer service and attention to detail is lacking quite a bit. Staff are on their phones and not the most attentive to customers. Moreover, my pinky nail was yanked off of the meat for a simple nail take off and all he did was leave me for the owner to fix and go get on his cellphone. I'm a woman of solutions. I would've been more than open to what options I had to proceed with a manicure but with a now ripped pinky if they made the effort to provide them. I asked the owner if she approved of his actions and she felt he was fine doing as he pleased. Instead of getting the nail take off and gel manicure that I wanted, I had to settle for a take off and was forced to pay full price even after my nail was ripped off the meat. I also had to keep pointing at acrylic that was still on my nail as the owner rushed to get me out. I now can not even get a full set somewhere else until my nail grows back. It burns which is how I know the meat of my nail is exposed. Truly unacceptable and an overall disheartening experience. You ever just have a feeling the nail tech ain't shit? well I knew based on how she was gluing my tips down that she was setting me up for failure. not even 7 days later and one of my nails came CLEAN off. Then, I have several others lifting therefore snagging everything I touch. My index finger is severely injured and my natural nail cracked under the acrylic. My entire finger is swollen I cant bend it. I called to see if they could refund me or something. Nope. The owner took no responsibility for the past 7 days. read more

I went to the Nail Palace to get a full set and a gel pedicure this afternoon. The full set was fine but I was not satisfied with my pedicure. Before my pedi started, I explained to the technician that both of my big toenails broke off of the sides and I wanted it to be repaired with acrylic or filed down evenly. The technician assured me that the would fix them to look nice but assured me that I didn't need acrylic to make my toes look good. During the service, I noticed that my cuticles were not trimmed well and my toenails weren't filed evenly. I let the technician know my concerns and she again assured me that everything would be fixed before she finished. When she finished my toes, I thought she did a mediocre job upon leaving the shop. But when I got home and really looked up close at my feet, they were a hot mess, uneven and sloppy. This was completely unacceptable! My cuticles looked like they had not even been trimmed in a month. (See pictures below taken and hour after I left the salon.) I called the salon to express my disappointment and was told to come back to the salon before they closed. I went back to the salon and was met with an attitude by the staff and they all acted as if no one wanted to fix my feet. After waiting about 30 minutes, finally the lady who did my feet came back and drilled the gel polish off my big toes and told me they would fix it but it would cost me an EXTRA $10 ON TOP OF THE $114 PLUS $10 TIP THAT I PAID EARLIER TODAY. At that point, I just wanted it fixed and agreed to pay to fix THIER TERRIBLE WORK. This was so wrong for me to be charged an extra $10 to fix a sloppy pedicure. My nails were fine but I will never go back to them after paying $10 for them to fix their poor quality work on the same day less then 2 hours after I initially left the salon. CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Terrible customer service. Two of my nails came completely off after 1 week, I went back to get them corrected and was told I needed to pay full price to get them fixed. Daniel who did my nails was not there to correct the issue, Wendy was very rude and insisted the policy was to come back 2-3 days after getting my nails done to fix any issues. I'm a loyal customer & will NOT be returning! I went in today to get my nails done for my birthday. I showed the artist how I'd like my nails & he started them but i wasn't very satisfied with the results. each hand looked different & not really similar to how the photo looked. He offered to take it off & do something else but i had no time so i offered to pay for my service & come back later today to get them fixed. He proceeded to tell me that when i come back I cannot get designs, only a solid color. So WHY OFFER NAIL ART IF THEY CAN'T DO IT? They don't offer ANY SOLUTIONS to the issue but swiped my card QUICKLY although i left with my nails looking AWFUL. I do not recommend them for nail art. & be mindful that if you have any issues they DO NOT CARE. Gel polish also chips easily. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Design requested was initially executed ok looks wise. However I received a gel manicure using what was supposed to be gel polish, and within less than 24hrs multiple nails were chipping and peeling. Even though other nails had chips in them, I was only mostly concerned with getting the two nails that were peeling fixed. When I called they told me "I don't know what you did to your nails but we don't fix anything for free, etc". I literally paid $70+ and a tip for a set of nails that did not last 24hrs. I did not do any activities out of the ordinary or physically handle anything that should have caused this. And I have never had this happen before with even regular polish. I went to the shop to show them the poor quality in person and the manager reiterated the same thing as over the phone and refused to repolish any of the nails without another payment. I should have known better when I was waiting to be seen and another customer told me she was there to get her nails fixed because her polish was peeling/chipping after a day. Due to it being Christmas Eve I unfortunately stayed. read more
