I absolutely love Ying! She's so nice and doesn't let you awkwardly sit without conversation (and her English is perfect!)! The BEST thing about this place is the SUPER SANITARY, ORGANIZED, NEAT, PERSONAL NAIL SUPPLY KIT! It is a small (ONE TIME) fee for the kit. She requires that every customer has one. She constantly replaces the buffers and filers when needed! The place is not cramped and suffocating, it's actually very spacious and cozy at the same time. The massage chairs are cleaned TWICE after each customer (and even before she opens!)! She is constantly buying new nail polish so you'll NEVER get bored with the choices! The polishes are also very high in quality and you can honestly tell the polishes are NOT thinned out (like some salons)! The polishes are not the only high quality products she has! All of her supplies are amazingly clean! Even her pedicure salt deserves 5 stars! The lotions smell heavenly! She thinks of new designs all the time and they're always AMAZING! My nails look and feel amazing after going to her! Not to mention the completely affordable prices ($35 for Mani + Pedi!)! Not only is Ying amazing but her assistant is very helpful and polite as well! She schedules the appointments and constantly makes sure the nail kits are perfect! You will definitely get treated like a V.I.P.! They definitely take care of their clients! This salon is like no other I've ever been to! It's simply amazing and adorable! I Love, love, love - Nails on the Go!! There isn't a better shop in Lynchburg! Ying doesn't use a drill, each client has their own nail kit, she is beyond nice, plus the prices are very reasonable! It's a smaller shop so you get individual treatment and really feel like a VIP. I have tried gel polish at other shops and it still chips and peels off after a week but when I go to Nails on the Go, it lasts for nearly 4 weeks! I can not say enough great things about this place. I will NEVER go anywhere else. She gets new polishes pretty regularly. I hate going to a shop and having very little color options or using a dried up old bottle. She also is extremely accommodating. This is by far the best place to get your nails done in Lynchburg, VA. The employees here are gentle and kind. They genuinely care about you and your nails, they are meticulous and they take their time to insure you get the highest quality service. My favorite aspect of Nails on the Go is that they don't use an electric sander to prepare your nails for gel polish. When i asked why they don't (all other nail salons I have been to so far do) they explained to me that the sanders damage and thin your nails, and the electric ones are used for speed rather than quality. Wow! I had no clue that there wasn't a need to damage my nails so much while getting gels! This is now my favorite place, and the only place I will let do my nails. read more

Had a great experience here the other day! Although Nails on the Go only takes appointments, the owner was able to fit us in last-minute, which my friend and I were so thankful for. I received a gel polish manicure that was very fairly priced (~$30). The owner also spent time with my friend trying to remove her acrylic nails that had been incredibly difficult to remove; she was able to file them down and make them look more presentable with some polish. The environment is also very friendly and calming, with a couple of massage/pedicure chairs and one manicure station. It is very welcoming and private, and the owner and her daughter were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here!! read more

Ying is awesome and I just love going to her shop!! My nails are so much stronger and look really great since I have been going to " Nails On The Go"!! Ying is so sweet and very professional. I was in Lynchburg visiting my sister, and we decided to try out Nails on the Go. We called in the afternoon to make an appointment, and Ying was able to fit us in that same day. Ying and her daughter are the nicest people, and the salon is beautiful, relaxing and private. We had my one year old niece with us, and they were super accommodating. The pricing was very reasonable, and we loved our pedicures so much that we made another appointment to get our nails done for a wedding we were going to the next week! I have been going to Ying for four years and would not go anywhere else in Lynchburg once I discovered her. She is the sole owner of Nails On The Go, and only her precious daughter works there. It is quiet and clean, with excellent attentive skill and service. I love small businesses where you can form a relationship with your nail care provider. Cutest little diamond in the rough nail place! The lady here is very sweet and she hand files. That is so rare and way better for your nails! I wish I could have taken my bridal party here instead of Amy Nails, but it is a little small for the amount of people we had. Here you get a box of tools with your name on them so everything is super sanitary and clean. I highly recommend going here! Ying is AMAZING!!! The space is very clean, relaxing, and quaint. You have no worries about sanitary issues because all clients have their own "kit". There is a nice variety of gel and regular colors to choose from. Ying is very creative with her designs. I told her she could do whatever she wanted and my nails turned out perfectly! My mother is a bit more conservative so she kept her designs more subtle; just how she likes it. Cleanest, cutest little nail shop I have ever been in! my 1st time but she accidentally double booked our 12:15 appt fortunately neither of us was in a hurry but the other lady soaked her feet for her pedicure while she did my gel manicure.
