He didn't even trim the dead skin on my feet. He went straight to the last step. I was very unhappy. He was so perfunctory to customers!! After I paid, he told me that his name was Steven. Very clean and organized roomy salon. The guy who did my gel nails wiped his work station off & the gel polish so it doesn't get goopy. He was very gentle to my nail beds. He did overfile my nails. Very respectful and nice people working. We did gel manis & waxed our eyebrows. I love how they did our eyebrows. They did great on them and I will be going back!! This salon seems to be somewhat hit or miss, but pretty good for the most part. I've been going here for about a year or so now and I swear they have new employees nearly every time! The first time I went was awesome, I told the guy doing my nails it was my first time there and he was extra attentive and did a beautiful job with my nails. They massage your shoulders and hands after doing your nails too, which feels amazing after sitting for a while. The only issues I've had there were during my past two visits. A couple days after getting a fill I lost one of my nails, but they fixed it with no extra charge. My most recent visit I got cut a few times around my nails and he didn't really shape them, but that's nothing I can't fix at home! Overall I feel this is a pretty nice salon and will continue recommending this place to friends and family! read more

Decided to treat my preteen daughters to getting their nails done. I saw this place had decent reviews, so I figured we'd give it a try..boy do I regret that decision! I told them what my daughter wanted and the make tech tried to change it up. Luckily, I caught it before he started putting the acrylic on. Then after bouncing across the room between my two daughters, I noticed that this male nail tech started massaging my daughter shoulders and she was extremely uncomfortable, so I brushed his hand away and asked what he was doing. Seems pretty weird to me that a grown male is massaging the shoulders of preteen girls. I couldn't imagine any young girl or woman would feel comfortable with not being asked permission to have their shoulders massaged without their consent. Very creepy. After paying more than I was told it would cost, the nails were horrible. Uneven and way too thick. Never returning! read more

So happy with my experience here! Found my Lynchburg nail spot! Maggie was friendly, detailed and took her time, which helped me feel relaxed. Her massages were more like light rubs, but the upper back/neck massage was stronger. And the location is relatively clean! Got an American French manicure with OPI Bubble bath for $28 not including student discount. I have an amazing nail tech back home but unfortunately she is 4 hours away. I am only giving this place 2 stars because they did a decent job on my daughters pedicure, but they have terrible business practices. We got there and I specifically asked for a CHILD'S manicure and pedicure. That's 8 for a manicure and 16 for the pedicure. They proceeded to take her back there and took it upon themselves to have a discussion between them and a 9-year-old to make a decision that she would get polkadots on her toenails... polkadots that were just little taps of the brush over the other color, not jewels, not a fancy design. Then they took her over and barely filed her fingernails down into shape, slapped on a little bit of clear nail polish and gave her a hand massage. I don't think they even cleaned under her nails. Oh, and a shoulder massage that my daughter said was painful. They came out and informed me that the $24 that I was prepared to spend was actually $39!! I looked shocked and asked what was $39. Apparently they took it upon themselves without speaking to a mother first to charge me $22 instead of 16 for the pedicure, and $12 for a manicure that was supposed to be 8 dollars. I'm not sure how that came out to 39 dollars anyway. I was too shocked to say anything or ruin my daughter's experience, but you can be sure we will not return. read more

I liked this place, took me right when I walked in, she did her thing and I just sat there and relaxed. Got a gel mani and my gel had chipped within 3 or 4 days after I got them done. I was really excited because when she was doing them she only did 2 coats so I was hoping it wouldn't be too thick and it turned out it was and ended up chipping way too soon.! First of all, I waited 40 minutes for an eyebrow waxing and I was initially told it was only a 20 minute wait. I finally get back into the back room to get my eyebrows done with my friends and noticed the wax sticks sitting in the wax heater. They did not change the wax sticks for me and my friends and who knows how many costumers it was used on. I now have an infection on my face due to the lack of cleanliness. I did love this place. Today I walked in and was greeted by a new gentleman. He was exceptionally pleasant, told me to pick my polish and he'd be right with me. Once I picked my polish the owner (female) told me that I'd have a wait and could come back(seriously, what did I ever do to you). Funny no one else was waiting at the time and I was just told that I'd be assisted. So I said I'll be happy to wait for a bit. Within a few minutes the young man called me back but not with his bosses approval. I felt extremely weird. Once my pedicure was over, he escorted me to have my nails done as planned. Then once again all the Chinese talking began and I was told I'd have to wait again. There was only one other girl that had just come in and she was picking colors. This was so rude! No excuses!!!!
