I went in around lunch time and the place was pretty busy. I booked an appointment for 5:15, so I could drop in after work. I got there 15 minutes early and was taken in right away. I did not catch the lady's name that was working with me, but she was very friendly and polite. The shop is clean, inviting and homey. The ladies all get along well and the customers all chit chat among themselves, while getting stuff done. I went in for a basic pedicure and I was not disappointed. Usually, I make the trek up to North St. Pete to my favorite salon on 4th street. They charge $25 for an express pedicure, which can be justified by how the place looks. They do a great job, but I did not have the time to drive out there. I found this place on Google and read all of the positive reviews. Bonus: it was only a 5 minute drive from work. They charged me $20 for a pedicure, which seemed fair, and the work that went into it was on par. My toes looked great and felt even better. The chairs are comfortable and moved up close enough, so I wasn't lounging around awkwardly. The woman that was working with me was fast and efficient, all while being very attentive. I would suggest this salon to people to go to, if they're in the Pasadena area of town. It's next door to one of my favorite take away places, Asian House. read more

The ladies are friendly and thats the only reason for two stars. All i wanted was acrylic over my already short nails and to paint them. She rounded them so extreme that she cut into my natural nail beds on each side of the nail. They look ridiculous. Then to top that off her acrylic is super wavy. She barely buffed the top to get a nice even nail. Never again. Now i have to go get them redone on my vacation which im leaving for today. And the whole reason i had them done. I always drive by this place but I've never stopped in because I don't often get my nails done. Today I went in to get a shellac manicure before my vacation and Vicky did a beautiful job!! She was very sweet and friendly. She made me feel right at home and took her time to do a perfect job. The massage with the manicure was lovely. The prices are VERY affordable. Was hoping this place would have done a better job. I decided to get the powder dipped nails like I always do. First off, there were only about 10 to 15 colors to pick from. Secondly, the job they did was absolutely terrible. The process they did was wrong so my nails turned out to be lumpy with lines through them. The shapes of my nails weren't even close to even. I was honestly shocked at how bad of a job they did. I immediately left and went to my other nail salon and thank goodness they re did them. Also, the service was okay. The lady was nice, but stopped working on my nails 3-4 separate times to answer the phone, talk to walk-ins, schedule other appointments, and take care of other people which honestly started to annoy me. This salon has a friendly staff. However they never have enough staff for walk ins! I have been there many occasions and was told we are busy today. Open chairs and not enough staff. The employees are always friendly, polite and do a great job. Walk-ins are welcome and if there is a wait, they are very honest about telling you and giving you the option to leave and come back whereas some places will tell you "just a few minutes" and have you sitting there for ages. Always clean, not overly fancy or pricey. My go-to place for eyebrow waxing and the shellac or gel manis are some of the best I've had. They have a big tv and I've noticed they always put on something interesting. Definitely a staple locale for me! read more

This is the absolute worst salon I have ever been to. I have been getting my nails done for 20 years, so that says a lot. I gave them multiple chances because the location is very convenient for me, but after today -- I would not return if the service was free. The quality of acrylic work is AWFUL, and the attitude leaves a lot to be desired. The straw for me occurred today when the tech literally gouged me with a drill tool -- then had the nerve to tell me that it was my fault because my "fingers are so sensitive!" WHAT?? I guess that piece of flesh hanging from my fingertip was due to my "sensitive skin" as well. (I left before my nails were even done -- it was THAT BAD!) There are plenty of other nail spas in the area -- choose ANY of them, and you would be better off than at this place. (the only reason they got one from me is because I cannot give 0!) read more
