Rating a 1 because I can't leave a 0. I hope you like the color you pick out (that never matches the board) because if you speak up and say I'm really sorry this isn't actually what I thought the color would be like it's a big deal. The OWNER AND the tech will make indirect comments to you. The tech was on nail 9 about to put lotion on my hands and goes "do you like the color? You're not gonna come back and complain are you?" Obviously she wasn't genuinely asking based on what she said and how she was done with the set. Not to mention they are chipped and crooked. So rude. They don't deserve any business. read more

I've been here several times, but my last visit will be my last. The gel manicures are done too thickly, and they end up looking kind of messy and amateur-ish. I have been to many of the employees here for both manis and pedis, but each time I have not been very happy with the shaping of my nails or the way they look at the end. Lastly, I have found I chip after about a week. I really wanted to like thisplace since it's close by and the employees are so nice and accomodating, but the bottom line is, I need to love the end results. read more

Not sure where any of these bad reviews come from- I've been a regular customer for months and I've had nothing but excellent service and the best manicures! You can't beat the price and they never skimp on the amount of coats. If a color is too translucent they don't charge you for an extra cost which is a bonus!!!! read more

Lucky to even give it one star. The pedicure was 9 minutes long. Then I even asked the gentleman who did the pedicure if he was going to give me a massage and he said he already did. Lol. Total was 11 minutes after he polished. No cutting cuticles. No leg massage. No foot buffing. No thank you. read more

I really liked the way my nails were done the first time but the second time, not so great. Everyone who works there is rude. They don't put a base coat before applying gel polish? Never saw that before and they don't even do a proper manicure, no cuticle cutting, hand soaking, no lotion. Won't be returning here. read more

I love this nail salon. I have been a customer for 5 years since moving from New York. Tina does my nails every time and they are always flawless. She has been the only person I've found that does my LCN nails and they don't lift or chip at the edges! I recommend this salon to anyone looking for a place that does quality work and has a staff that makes you feel like a friend! read more

Jimmy and Sophia are the absolute best! This nail salon is absolutely one of the best around. I've been to many and I've traveled 30 minutes to get my nails done and no one can compare to this salon. Everyone is really friendly and accommodating. If you just walk in they will find a way to squeeze you in. I highly recommend this salon and you won't be sorry ..everyone that works there is really good and friendly. read more

I have been coming here for almost a year and they are the best! I have gotten my nails done by 5 different people who work here and they were all so sweet and made sure you were happy and that your nails were perfect. read more

Wow! Came in for a pedicure and the whole place was brand new!! New sign, new furniture, classy atmosphere, and extremely clean!! The same great selection of colors and the the same great service. read more

Place is nice. Ruby did my nails, she took her time but in the end they were all crooked and I had to go home and fix them myself. I told her I just wanted a gel set with no color polish, but she went against my instructions and put on polish for $5 more. When I asked her why she said it'll make my nails stronger, which is understandable but if I specially asked for no color polish, why would you put color polish on? About a week later one of the nails broke. Very disappointed. read more

So disappointed how owners Jimmy and Sophia treat their customers. They have no respect for anyone and only about making money and taking as many customers as they can. Horrible service and job. This is what happens when business owners become too arrogant. And then they speak about you in their language to trash you. Little do they know some people can understand. read more

Love love this nail salon! I have been to almost every nail salon in the area and this place is by far the BEST. I have moved but still drive the 30 minutes just to come here because it is so worth it. the gel manicures last great, mine last 3 weeks, no chipping or lifting. They are friendly and very quick too! Best place for gels and pedis! read more

Used to LOVE this place. Got a gel manicure with my wife. One week after, my manicure is chipped and peeling. I thought my manicure was bad until I saw my wife's. Frightening and unpleasant. Gel polish on her cuticles and fingertips. The manicurist cut the side of her finger and filed into her nail bed. read more

First time there & I'll never go back again. A man did my nails. A had a mani & pedi done. The pedicure was ok, but not great. He filed my nails too low. But the manicure was horrible. He filed them & did the cuticles after he painted them. Does that make any sense? My nails look horrible. Three of my nails were bleeding. He filed them so low and picked the the cuticles so hard. My nails look like they were done a week ago there's so much space showing down by the cuticles. The employees children were running around screaming. I'm sure they were tired by 7:30 at night. Never again. read more

I honestly cannot believe this place is still in business - it's THAT bad. My mom and I are regular customers of Jewel Nails in Marlboro. We go there frequently, always get great service, and tip generously. Today on a whim we decided to give Nails Limited a shot since we always pass by it and it looks pretty on the inside - WORST mistake. We waited around 10 minutes during which we saw many other women having what looked like normal, pleasant mani pedis - all fine so far. But then we got put with a nail tech who is either a racist or has some major untreated anger management issues - I'm guessing a healthy mix of both - and she started being nasty and careless with us right from the get go. I was in the chair for exactly 8 minutes and she had already soaked my legs, roughly chopped my nails (got my skin several times in the process) put lotion on and then wiped my legs down with a cold, dirty looking towel. Once she put my flip flops back on my nails I had literally not even been in the chair for 10 minutes! My mom (very politely) asked her if she was just doing a polish change since we had asked for a full pedicure. She just started screaming! "DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT ME DON'T CALL ME UNPROFESSIONAL" (mind you, my mom hadn't said a single thing about her or called her unprofessional. All she said was, verbatim, "are you doing a full pedicure or a polish change?", which seems like a very reasonable question considering that I had been in the chair for under 10 minutes.) I could not even believe how we were being treated, but before we could fully process what was happening this crazy woman just got right up in my moms face and started yelling unintelligible nonsense at the top of her lungs. Then she stormed off, leaving me in the chair without bothering to finish my pedicure. My mom followed her to the front to try to talk to a manager, and by the time I got my shoes on properly and got up there she was STILL YELLING! I asked her repeatedly to calm down and she wouldn't stop screaming in my mom's face, so then I started yelling back because she had sufficiently pissed me off. All the nice white customers around me looked horrified and I'm sure they thought I was nuts since none of them have had to experience this kind of treatment before. Meanwhile, the manager was trying to explain to my mom that my pedi only took 8 minutes because my feet are just that nice and clean and just didn't need that much work (trust me, my heels tell a different story.) Tl;dr if you're a woman of color, take your business to Jewel (or literally anywhere else.) read more

I love love love this place! The people who work here are one of the most talented, professional and most of all, friendliest I've ever met! They don't pull any gimmicks or any tricks on you when it comes to pricing on manicures, pedicures, etc. Plus, they do a great job waxing my eyebrows. That place is my definition of a getaway and they go above and beyond to make your visit an enjoyable one! Jimmy is really friendly and his wife Sophia is very sweet! Tina is very polite and a maestro with the gel nails and acrylics! Come here and get pampered! You won't regret it! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but unfortunately I must leave at least one. Although this place presents itself with a nice spa-like atmosphere, the experience is much further from that. The nail technicians are very rude and disrespectful. They are always so rough and hostile towards your manicure and pedicure. Not to mention they all speak in their own language right in front of your face and are most likely speaking about you. After my mani-pedi I was about to pay and leave when I realized I had forgotten to do my eyebrows, so I went back to the nail tech that did my nails and asked her, very politely I might add, to also do my eyebrows, and she yelled at me saying "Ugh why didn't you tell me earlier," as though she was forced to do her OWN job! This is not to say that every nail tech is rude; most of them are very nice and polite towards you as a customer, with the exception of these two sisters. I tipped pretty high too. What a mistake. The salon would be better off without these two sisters, my only regret is that I didn't catch their names. read more

My rating is based solely on the attitude of the employees of this salon, rather than the quality of the nail services there. Truth be told, the manicures I have received there (both regular and gel) have been of high quality. However, I am tempted to take my business elsewhere after several less than stellar experiences with an impolite employee. My first few visits to this salon were fairly enjoyable. The nail technician who worked on me was very kind and professional, and did a spectacular job. However, my last two visits with one of the other nail technicians was not so pleasant. During my first visit with this nail technician, she was incredibly gruff and rushed through my manicure. When she wanted me to switch hands, she essentially shoved one away and harshly grabbed the other. The cuticle cutting was also mildly painful. During the second visit with her, she was also somewhat gruff and then rudely asked me why I was not in school on that day. Note: I am a mid 20-something year old female, college graduate, working full-time. When I explained, she laughed at me and continued to comment on my appearance in a very impolite manner. Do I have a youthful face? Perhaps. But do I deserve to be treated any less like the woman I am simply because of appearance? Absolutely not. Customers paying for these services (not cheap, by the way) do not deserve to be disrespected. This establishment needs to learn that a successful business not only provides quality services, but also treats customers with respect. The latter is sorely lacking. read more

Been here a few times with mixed results. remodel the salon looks beautiful. Just wish my nails looked as great every time.

New to the area and found this gem. My nails look amazing and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Also the place was super clean! TJ did my nails and they look perfect. No complaints here. read more

This salon is horrible. I was recommended by an acquaintance of mine, they told me that the salon is very clean and they do a good job. I decided to give it a try and i stopped in one day. When i walked in, it was about four girls who seemed to have work there, they were sitting behind their stations and talking. I asked if they had any time for a gel manicure and they looked at me like i had two heads. They told me that they were busy and i would need to come back later, i asked if i could make an appointment and they said no just come back later. That wasn't really reassuring to me and I did not like the way they handled it. I haven't gone back and will not go back, they were unprofessional. read more

I am definitely a fan... Whenever I am home in Jersey I try to get a manicure. The manicure (gels) last usually over two weeks. When I had tips, there were times where I could go almost a month and they would still look great. I always get compliments on my nails too, and people are always asking where I go. Not going to lie, it is kind of deceiving because it is not the most glamorous of places, but regardless they do a great job. I have also had a broken/chipped nail and they usually end up fixing it for me no charge (but thats if its within the week, I've never went there after a week period with that issue). The prices are reasonable and I like everyone that does my nails... In the past it has been Jimmy and he does a great job. Overall if you need a new nail salon I recommend trying this place out. I also love how the food network is always on when I am getting my nails done.. makes the manicure go by even faster! read more

Amazing !! I've done my own nails for years because I am so picky ... and i finally found a place that I love!!

Not impressed. Won't be going back. I went for a mani/pedi based on the positive reviews and was disappointed. I got a rushed, half-done job. Not to mention the price for a mani/pedi is more than other salons in the area ($32). I would't have minded paying more, if the quality was better. read more

I love Nails Limited 2!!!! Friendly staff, they provide great services, and they are very reasonably priced. The owners, Sophia and Jimmy go out of their way to accommodate you and do an excellent job on your nails. read more

I just had my nails done at this place ! First off they need to clean all the dust off the stone wall behind them it must be an inch thick!! I had Jimmy do my nails, I went in to get a pink & white fill powder with gel over, he convinced me not to do powder that it's not good for your nails! I've been doing powder for years!! The product he uses is better ! So I decided to go with what he recommended at a cost of 65.00 , but if I pay cash it would be 60.00 . I also heard the girl next to him telling customers if u pay cash it's cheaper!! So when I was finished I go to the counter to pay hm!! I put up 3 twenty dollar bills plus the tip ! I go & put my other cash n my bag , the only money on the counter is the 10.00 tip!!! He then says to me u have too pay!!!! Said I just gave you 3 twenties he said no u put them back n your purse !!!!! We had an argument ,he some how took that money when I looked away!!!!!!!! He is a con artist !!! Be aware!! read more
