I will not return. The services are overpriced . I spent $70 for a $50 service. No greeting, lack of ambiance, they all spoke amongst themselves in their own language making me feel very uncomfortable. I could hardly hear the music and the TV was off. They made my middle finger look like it was going up instead of curve down like a nail should look. Then when I went back into fix them he got upset and did not want to fix them. So he finally fixed them and didn't even reseal the gel polish just left them how they are. They also upcharged me for coffin nails but they were actually square. He tried to tell me that they are coffin, I had to go get the mannequin of nails on their front desk to show him that they're indeed squared and not coffin. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but I just had to on this one. Ladies if you go there to have your nails done don't let the male do them. He did mine and I have never ever had such a bad experience!!! He hurt me so bad I was just about in tears. Even after all the pain I went threw the nails were done improper. I wouldn't even give them a one if possible it was the worst experience I have ever and I mean ever had in my life. Shame on him and he didn't even care when I said something to him. I have gone here a few times and the last 2 times was terrible my nails were hacked so short it was a waste they do not put the acrylic till the cuticles so it looks like a fill is needed the same day they all broke or fell off after a week don't waste your money this place is terrible as well as the one in mentor I had a bad experience there my nails were not filled well it was rushed and looked terrible and they broke after 4 days . So that leaves 3 nails that are intact -- that means that MOST of my nails are effed up. I should probably state that I am a domestic diva that actually cleans, washes dishes, and cooks so perhaps that's one of the reasons my nails are chipped. Please never go here, the people are rude and change the prices on everything, I called in and made an appointment to get a fullset and they sat me down in a pedicure chair, I didn't even take my shoes off and put them near the water, I asked why they sat me down and they said to me that I was going to get a pedicure too, I told them politely no and that I was there for a fullset only and that I called them on the phone for my 1pm appointment, the lady then said I came too early for my appointment, at that point I had sat down in the chair for 10 minutes and it was already 1:10pm, I told her what was said on the phone and that I was to go sit in a chair to get my nails done. The process was okay, she used very little glue on my nails and I had noticed that it was in fact kids nail glue, there was very little acrylic used and my nails feel frail and thin, she charged $40 when the original price she said was $30, she changed from $35 then to $40. In the middle of doing my nails another lady came in yelling at my nail technician that she cut her and her nail became infected, the place was not very sanitary whatsoever, Especially during Covid!!! She used the same file on me to another client!! Long story short, I don't think I will be returning and you should not take your business here!!! read more

***DO NOT confuse NAILS Lacquer in Willowick with Nail Lacquer in Willoughby & Mentor**** Short and to the point - avoid this place by all means! For an explanation, see pics. Being that this place is close to my house, I stopped in a few times. Once for a gel manicure that lifted in 3 days. I thought it was something I was doing, so I gave them another chance. Went back for a pedi about 2 years ago and it was the worst pedi I ever had hands down. Took them 20 minutes, they were clearly rushing, did not even cut the dead skin off, polish looked awful and was completely messy... I said I'd never go back... however... I needed to get my acrylic's soaked off and a mani, and since (again) they're close to home, I figured they couldn't mess that up too much. I was COMPLETELY wrong. First of all, these people are RUDE as FUCK from the minute you walk in all the way to the minute you leave. The woman sat down and didn't speak a word to me. She had me soak for a couple of minutes and then started drilling my acrylics off with a drill bit. She kept doing this every few minutes and having me soak, which is totally okay normally... except for when she got impatient (it was around 7 and I felt like they just wanted to finish to they can close) and started ripping the acrylic off my natural nails and drilling more to the point that my nail beds turned red and started burning right away. I asked her to please stop drilling and peeling off the acrylic... which she apparently either ignored or did not understand. I asked her again and she suddenly gets up and another tech comes and starts drilling on my nails again!!!! He seemed to speak English a little better and I asked him to please be careful since my nails at this point were so thin and painful, they basically felt like open wounds. He replied that I need to let them do their job because they know what to do! When he was done drilling, the woman sat down again to do my mani and I stopped her immediately. In the meantime, my sister was having the same thing done, soak off and then a mani. She was already done and showed me her mani! LMAO! A day later and my nails are so wear I can bend them backwards with ease, with 2 coats of clear polish over them. Unbelievable. All I have left to say is please see the pictures attached and be the judge. Don't waste your money and definitely don't ruin your nails and put up with some disrespectful mofos in this place. read more

This was the worst place I have ever been to. It doesn't even deserve one star. The owner (the only gentleman working there) is a completely horrendous individual. Not only did he do my nails so rough that they were bleeding and got an infection in them, but when I told him about it, he had the audacity to tell me to "shut up" and started screaming profanities in the middle of his store. He is the rudest, most conniving person I have ever met and I hope this place gets shut down. No one should go to a business where the owner does not know the importance of the customers. The nail tech was rude and yelled at me out was very uncomfortable. I tried them two times it was the same thing both times.

I use to love Nails Lacquer in Willowick. Maria is the best. But now she has 2 guys in there & they are not the greatest. Every time they do my nails they are not the way I want them. This last time one of the guys made the gel too thick on my nails & there is a hump on my nail beds. Then the other guy went to give me the french.....not the way I like it insisted his was would look just as good. I didn't care for it but just went with it. They look yellow & dingey. read more

I've been going to this place for awhile since it's cheap but I've decided I'm no longer a customer. Every time the little guy (who I believe is one of the owners) does my nails, he makes my cuticles bleed. I tell him repeatedly to be careful but he doesn't listen. He doesn't take his time either, he rushes through everything.. Even the nail painting which always look like crap. The other workers in there are decent but you'll end up leaving there less than satisfied. So unless you want a nail salon that leaves you with raw, bloody cuticles.. Very rude & inconsiderate nail technicians! Nails will last up to one week before chipping. Dare not get acrylics they pop off within less than a week! This place also rushes to do your nails and they typically overcharge. They're also not good listeners either. My nails are usually uneven and lumpy after I leave, Been going to this place for yrs not bc they are good but bc the distance to my house is convenient. You'd think the nail techs would remember exactly how I like my nails after years of going and as a regular customer, but the shape ends up different each time, and length! One time I was kicked out before my nails even dried and no top coat because it was 10 minutes past their closing time! Don't know why I put up with such a TERRIBLE place for so long!
