I also love to hear music in the background, and it sure does help when they play music you know from your past. It's also nice to be able to choose from so many bottles of polish. I thought to myself as I was scrolling down the list that I can have anything done here because they do all types of pedicures and manicures. On top of that, she told me they could wax my eyebrows. I said yes, and she showed me where my arch should be and where the wing of my eyebrow should stop. She was right; placing my arch in that spot opened my eyes. The man who did my pedicure did a poor job painting them. I would have done better painting them myself. Leaving streaks. Not pairing the whole nail. Terribly removed the dead skin around the nails. Did not leave my heels smooth. The eyebrow job was mediocre. I got up to leave after waiting for sometime for my eyebrows and they immediately fit me in. They are good at nails, but the lack management. I was told my wait would be an hour, so I sat down and waited, and waited, and waited. It was then over 2 hours later and nothing. I asked how much longer I would be waiting and I was told there were "3 pedicures ahead of me". I would have been fine sitting and waiting if the wait time was accurate. I went in with two designs I liked and the owner said he couldn't do them. I should have left then! All he had to do was paint the design I wanted. I asked my manicurist to explain to me everything she was going to do as I was new to maintain my nails via manicure. I usually just cut my nails as they grow really long, really fast. I'm a African American female and I've been a customer here for years but will not be returning. My nail technician was half done with my nails when I was asked by the owner to move to another nail technician to accommodate a white female customer who had just walked in. I was told that he (the owner) had forgotten that the customer had an appointment with the nail technician that I was with. I feel that was a lie. One customer should not be made to feel more important than another. This was very unprofessional and I want African American females to be aware that this nail salon has a preference. read more

So here's the thing about Nails Couture. First of all, make an appointment, and know who is doing your services ahead of time. Or, you could have someone who is new or inexperienced. There are a dozen or more techs here but I promise you they are not all created equal. Some are rushers. They rush through the process and your nails will be crooked and painted poorly, same goes for a pedicure. It is pertinent at this place you maintain your rapport with the same tech, even if it means waiting a week to get in to see them. Their work will be better if they know and have a relationship with you. There are a few techs I will not use again, like ever. The owner does a great job but he is also running the place/answering phones, Tony is pretty good, but Rose is the best. You will likely have to book out an appointment weeks in advance to get her and it's worth it. I will not use anyone else there. As far as pedicures, that's hit or miss, good luck. read more

I am a strong believer in the customer ALWAYS being right and most importantly accommodated for. The owner Tim must have been having an extremely bad day, because he became argumentative with my mother (who was a first timer to Nail Couture in Griffin, we live in McDonough). My mother is a perfect example of a customer needing their experience to go that extra step. instead of Tim, listening to my mother, he decided to argue back with her. Instead of being a great owner and example of what great customer service is, which is helping their customer find a solution to their problem, he made the problem worse, and allowed us to leave his business unhappy. Haven't been back in over a year. Yes, they have talented nail technicians at this location, but don't let those awards get to your heads guys! read more

This salon is awesome! The staff are so much fun and very friendly. They all do an amazing job and are very talented. This is a top notch salon with excellent customer service, and it is so clean and modern inside. I felt like I was hanging out with friends and having a blast. This is the ONLY place I will go for SNS gel powder! Their color selection is a solid 100-150 colors and most of their techs know how to apply it correctly; clean and not bumpy like a lot of other places. I usually go after work and get there around 6 (they close at 7) and I'm usually out by 7:30- they don't mind staying a little over if need be. There is always around 10 techs there, but that's completely necessary because of their client volume. I have also tried going first thing on a Saturday morning and there's a line at the door and people waiting in their cars. On average I wait about 15-30 minutes each time, but I don't mind because they do such a good job; WORTH THE WAIT! As far a pedicures, what they offer for the price is very fair and they have several "menu" items to choose from; $17-$50 - they have the right pedicure for you. Since they are always so busy there is a slight rush feel to it because of the 10-15 pedi chairs, 10-15 mani tables, plus tech and clients in a small building it can get crowded. The modern décor and cleanliness adds a nice feel and takes away some of that rush. If you want total silence for your pedi, go the EM Nails across the street, they're good too... BUT Nails Couture is truly your one stop shop! :) read more

I love this place. It's the only one that I truly trust but only with my girl Ruth for my pedicures. She is amazing. She is friendly and very thorough. Everyone is actually very nice though. The only thing wrong is that it is always crowded and sometimes they do rush you through especially when it's almost closing time.
