i've been coming here for a while to get pedicures the last time I came a couple days ago. I did a gel pedicure which shows for $35 on the board, but I went to go pay she up charged me for a service I did not request. which was $40... I will not be coming back and do not recommend. Been coming here for almost over 20 years. At least 15 years. While kevin always does my nails by request, I ended up getting a pedicure this time. I'm very happy with it, I see a lot of negative reviews but after looking at pictures, some nails look like they messed them up after leaving the salon, kevin and his lady's would never knowingly let you walk out with your polish messed up from bumping or whatever. Take a look at my pictures. The manicurist went too deep and cut my index finger. She did apologize but this was my first visit!! Hmm not a good impression. She offered a bottle of water towards the end when I was about to leave - not sure if they do this to everyone but I didn't take it! Because I was upset with my bleeding finger. The man who said his name is "Kevin" talked with her in Vietnamese and probably mentioned to her to give me a bottle of water. I tipped her and walked away. I had a appointment with Van for a pedicure and lash extensions. First of all I haven't had a pedicure in over 20 years, and Van removed so much dead skin, my feet were very soft after wards. She did a excellent job!!! And the lashes she gave me were beautiful also. The salon is clean and neat with plenty of nail stations and a few massage chairs to relax in while your feet are being done. They have two large screens that show calming scenery and soft relaxing music. They offer quite a few other services too, and have plenty of supplies on hand for artistic choices for your nails or feet. Their customer service skills are great too. This the place to go for a number of services to help maintain your needs, for hands, nails, brows, eyes lashes. Give them a chance you won't be disappointed. This. Place. Takes. For-ev-er! Called 3 days prior to make an appointment for myself and a friend at 6pm. We arrived at 5:50pm and it was like we never made an appointment at all. While we were seated in the pedi chair at 6, we didn't get attended to until 6:20 and ONE person was working on BOTH of us. It took 3 hours. THREE HOURS! By the time we got to Manicures it was 7:15 and the ONE person who was doing our nails was also doing waxes. So while my coat would dry, she left to wax a walk-in. I get these places hustling for business, especially during their reopening post-covid, but we made appointments! If you can't accommodate that, tell us ahead of time. I've been here multiple times before. It's clean, Kevin is nice, they offer drinks, great colors to chose from, Comfy massage chairs. My third time going to Kevin's nails and I love it! I got a gel manicure on my real nails after wearing acrylics for 2-3 weeks. My nails grew out almost as long as the acrylic so I had the acrylic removed and Kevin buffed my nails and worked his magic to transform them into my Christmas gel mani with nail sticker decals! This place has so many haters, I have no idea why they have less than 5 stars because when I went in everyone was so friendly. I was even offered my something to drink (I got a water). And Kevin was super sweet and they did an amazing gel acrylic manicure and pedicure for $77 which is a pretty damn good price! Back in NY I would pay well over $100 for the work they did! UPDATE: Had to change my review from 3 to 1. I was just in there yesterday and my polish is chipping off! Not going to go back in for a second chance anymore. Previous review: Checked out the neighborhood nail salon for a pedicure. I got the lavender spa pedi for $30. I couldn't give it the best reviews for two reasons 1) the water was cold! I asked the man if he could get me hot water and he turned it on for a second and then off thinking the cold would turn hot after a "squirt" of water. Then I asked the lady as well who did my pedi and she did the same exact thing. So my pedi water was cold What I was hoping was for them to drain all the cold or most of it and fill it back up. 2) my 10 min massage (included in the lavender pedi choice) was definitely not 10 mins, more like 2 mins on each leg. Sooooo disappointing. That's the best part!!! The people are nice there, it's not very clean, but it's affordable.... take that as you will. I will be going back for one more chance, hopefully next time better experience and I'll fix my review. read more

I gave this place three tries and I just cannot anymore. I do not recommend it to anyone who wants a good acrylic set of nails. Van was my nail technician all three visits. The first visit I got a new full set with a very basic design that kind of looked like what I wanted. It was a little sloppy on the sides of almost every nail but really only I could tell, so I didn't make a big deal of it. However when I went to check out, it was considerably more money than what I was quoted. I was told it was because my nails were long? Also the type of color she chose to use (I was not given a choice) and the gems which she insisted we add. I just paid it and chalked it up to it being my fault for somehow miscommunicating? Even though that's usually not an issue I have. The second visit was uncomfortable. The fill was relatively quick but when I showed Van the design I wanted, she said she could do it. Thirty minutes later and several failed attempts past, I asked she not worry about it and just paint my nails all one color. She then began doing some other random design and would show it to me but I asked that she please just remove it and paint them one color. Again, she proceeds to do another nail with a different design I did not ask for and I ask her again to please remove and just paint all one color. She seemed upset and was talking about me to the lady next to her in another language but again feeling uncomfortable I blamed myself thinking maybe the design was too difficult?? I don't know. I was really trying to like this place. After one week, a nail broke. This is not typical for me as I've had acrylics for like 12 years lol... I was out of town so I glued it. Sure enough, another cracked. Then when I returned to town, two more. I called the shop to inform them when I was back and available and they told me to come in. It had been 2.5 weeks since my last fill and I can usually go 3-4 weeks with a proper fill... So today was my third visit and Van would not fix the broken nails without doing another fill. So I agreed like a dummy thinking this time would be different. She asked what color I wanted and I showed her several designs for inspiration. I asked if she could do any of them or something similar and she said yes and began speaking in another language to the other nail ladies, took my phone and showed it around the room while laughing. I was really embarrassed I didn't understand what was happening and why they were laughing. Over an hour later, I left with no color on my nails because again, she could not do this design or anything close. She would do other things I did not ask for and I had to ask several times for her to please stop before she would listen!!! It was so cringe the girl sitting next to me even made a comment to me about another salon to try lol... I left with colors dyed on my pinkies and my cuticles and two fingers with small cuts in my cuticles. I was charged more than the price for a fill. I just cannot with this place...... Not worth it. Unfortunately I was having to come like 5/6 days after a fill because my nails were lifting. Mind you there is usually a long wait.
