They are the best! I travel more than most people so I've been told. I've had both pedi & manicures at least in 50+ cities - From south Florida to as far as Colorado Springs as North as Wisconsin, and all across to The Carolinas(and in between). The customer service is top notch here. From the minute you walk in you're greeted, and offered a drink by their friendly host. I am always a walk in & never have waited more than 10-15 minutes for service to begin. The are always fully staffed:-) Every pedi & manicure I've received here has been the best compared to all others received across the states. this place and yes I'll drive from north Florida to here for their services read more

I came in.I had two broken nails, and I needed them to replace the two broken nails and do a fill in along with do a design on my nails. And they did my feet, it cost to me like a hundred dollars.Roughly needless to say, my nails did not even last forty eight hours read more

Just moved here from Los Angeles, so it's my first time at a nail salon in GA. I honestly rarely give negative reviews, but my experience at Chris was inconsistent. Overall the place looks nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a mimosa. My pedicure went great, I think her name was Cindy. Great attention to detail, and gives an amazing foot massage. I did think it was really weird that they asked for my credit card halfway through the service. I've only ever either paid up front and then cash tipped at the end or just paid everyone at the end. So it was a bit jarring to get the bill during my pedicure. Like I said, the pedicure was great, BUT the woman who did my nails was rude, haphazard, and did a worse job than my 12 year old niece could have done for free. She treated me like she didn't want me there even though I had just spent $100+ and tipped my pedicurist $20. So... maybe I'll go back, maybe I won't. I absolutely don't want to see this woman there if I do though. I could have just done the polish myself. So anyway, it's hit or miss. Be really clear about what services you want, and if someone tries to rush you through the polish they're probably going to do a bad job so request someone else. And be prepared for a bill mid-service. Very weird, but maybe that's just how they do things here? read more

This was the worst experience my girlfriend had, ever. She wanted her toe nails painted the same color as her finger nails and when she brought it up to the lady she said to her "white girls so picky." This is beyond rude and instead of taking off the wrong color she just painted over it and is now chipping 20 mins later. All of this for 80$ was insanity. Do not recommend, id give a 0 star if that was an option. read more

Got a basic manicure, you know just nail cutting cuticles, no polish or anything and they charged me $30 and only did my cuticles. My nails are uneven they never even touched the nail clippers. I will not be returning. read more

Worst rushed pedicure I've ever had. No massage. No cut cuticles. Terrible polish job. Left and went somewhere else to get another pedi. Won't ever return. read more

Very happy with the Covid procedures in place!! Lots of hand washing by customers and sanitizing by staff. Went to another nail salon in Valdosta (last month) that didn't seem that clean, and had a less than satisfactory pedicure. But here the inside is beautiful, clean, the staff is super friendly! Will be my go to spot from now on! Can't wait time try their hour pedicure when I have time next month. I chose regular polish for both my mani and pedi since I cant commit to the upkeep of gel... but my polish is perfect!! Had a deluxe pedicure, option 2? And was still really happy with it! read more

terrible would not recommen! drove an hour from Tifton to get my nails done called before I drove to make an appointment and was told no appointment was needed. They were called up and would be able to do my nails. Waited 45 minutes at that point, someone walked in and was immediately sat down to start her nails, as I still sat and waited after an additional five minutes of waiting I decided to leave feeling that my business was unwanted and their customer skills service or seriously lacking. read more

Nails by Chris - It was worth the trip from Tampa when all the shops are closed for the corona virus - Nail Salons Near Me - Valdosta, Georgia

Not a good time. My nails were rushed and look so bad there are spots where my tech just didn't put top coat in the middle of my nails and she insisted on doing gems for my design instead of paint and then didn't have the right gems. Instead of stars and moons I got starfish and half circles. The gems make the whole nail look thick and tacky plus they're sharp so I keep scratching myself. I was charged 75$ and dispute not likening the nails still tipped 25$ only for the tech to be visibly disappointed it wasn't more read more

I came in after a botched full set at a local competitor. Based on the rating and reviews I was skeptical. I am SO glad I gave them a shot. Sunny & Michelle are an asset to this establishment. I have NEVER had a fill in take under 30 minutes. They were personable. They were professional. My nails are perfect. I am so excited to find a new salon in town. I haven't given out a sizable tip in a while but they EARNED it. Great service. Speedy. Great location (and they're remodeling soon). Great color selection. Employees were playful with each other but not in a bad way. Again, just a fantastic experience! Night and day from my other experiences in the area. Plus they were serving complimentary mimosas. I had a lovely, ice cold cup of water. But still....... A+ ^_^ read more

I came in on Saturday for a full set and chrome nail color. Tracey did my nails. Today is Monday. The polish is chipping and rubbing off. I'd asked during my appt for her to cut them down and she kept saying g the length was fine. So I come in today to get the polish fixed and there is also a nail that has a dent in it from when tried to get a hair out of the acrylic. I get her an was told she would fix it. She is at Lowe's. 1.5 hours later she is not here and everyone here refuses to fix my nails. I'm being told she will be here in 4min and will fix it. My happy was supposed to have been with Chris on Saturday! When I showed up he sent me to have lunch because they were behind. I get back and am pushed off on this Tracey girl who did a shitty job and now no one will fix it! Find a better nail salon. If they cant honor appointments or their work they are not worth your money or time! Pic.number one was what I'd asked for...the rest is what I got. read more

This salon is great. Walked in with my friend and was seated immediately even though they looked crowded. The place has a very strong nail salon-y smell to it but you get used to it. The tools are very clean and the man who did my nails thoroughly cleansed the acrylic brush before using it on my nails. He was very friendly and kept a good conversation going. This salon is interesting, usually the nail techs are very chatty with their co-workers and take forever to finish doing the nails but this salon was very quiet and calm. They had a TV going on a positive show for all ages so that you could watch and not get bored during the very short time it takes them to do a full set. The prices are great. Cheap for good nails. Will be back! read more

Amazing service. I was visiting Valdosta and staying in a hotel and googled "nail salons near me" and found Nails by Chris. I got really lucky. The nail technician did a fabulous job with a French dipping powder manicure and eyes wax. Everyone was super friendly and the salon was busy. They offered me a cold drink. Highly recommend! I will definitely come back when here. read more

Waited 45 minutes to get manicure and daughter waited over an hour for hers. They asked what we wanted to drink and then never brought us anything. Cindy or whatever blonde lady's name was, was rude and unprofessional. Nail tech was sweet and did good job, but rushed because they were busy and it didn't take half the time it should have. Disappointed because I just moved here and was hoping this would be my go to place. read more

It was no a good experience at all. The nail tech hurt me twice. My nails looked like I put them in a blinder. Not worth the money!

Very disappointing. Visited Nails by Chris to get acrylics done for my moms upcoming birthday cruise. I was excited and looking forward to getting bright, square acrylics, nothing fancy. I walked out with cockeyed, poorly painted nails. Before I could even ask for what I wanted, which was square and medium length the nail tech began cutting and their was no turning around. The application of the paint was a MESS. Cruise is in a few days and I'm a full time student so I have no time to get them fixed. Tried calling and all numbers were disconnected as well. I wouldn't recommend for any type of nail services, save your money. The worst nail salon I've ever visited. read more

It's hit or miss. The Inner Perimeter location the services are rushed. Within a week it looks like I didn't even get my nails done. This time the polish started to peel off after 3 days. These services are too expensive for subpar service. Very disappointed and looking for a new place. read more

I came in at 6:20 to get a pedicure and was told that all of the people to do pedicures had gone home for the day. I would have been more understanding if 1. There were not people in there literally getting pedicures as I was told that and 2. If the didn't close at 7:30. What sense does that make? As I proceeded to leave they called me back and asked if I wanted regular or gel and once I said regular they said it would take too long and that if I got gel I could get them done now. So not only are they liars, they're also scammers. Go to USA nails instead, they close earlier but the quality and service is much better! read more

Can I just say how much I love Nails by Chris?! Back in January, my Mum and I heard about Nails by Chris from my Aunt. We were in town for a funeral and we needed some time away. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting. I had the pleasure of having my nails done by Chris. He was funny, talkative and considerate. Chris cares about his clients and treats his staff like family. The atmosphere is light, friendly and bubbly. Next, for my pedicure, Tony was the life of the party! He cracked jokes, sung a few tunes and did an amazing job for my pedicure!! Today, I am back in with my Dad and we're receiving great service once again! Today, I got a pedicure, and David was awesome! I feel like a new woman! Now that I am in town for the summer, I can't wait to stop by again! I love this place!! ^_^ read more

The new receptionist they have is really awesome. She has amazing customer service skills and really gives it a great atmosphere. Worst nail salon I have been to! Recently moved to the area from California and I am disgusted with the cleanliness of this place. It is so dirty inside. The nail stations were sticky. Everything is very outdated. The pedicure chairs are crammed together. My pedicure massage was good but the guy spent very little time actually working on my toes. The manicurist did not say one word to me. I left with dried skin still around my nails and nail polish all over my fingers. I was disgusted to see them waxing people in the main part of the salon and not taking them back to a private room. They really need to clean the place up. read more

I went in today for a pedicure. Beautiful decor, nice job on my toes, but the service was HORRIBLE! I was thinking maybe it was because I went in an hour and a half before closing but another customer came in less than 30 mins before closing and she got better treatment than I did. I was having a good day until I sat down in their chair. The technician had a bad attitude throughout my whole visit. He didn't try to make conversation with me at all. I felt like he was rushing through my service. In the end, he snatched the towels off my lap that were placed there b/c I was wearing a skirt and proceeded to help clean up the shop. Usually a technician would help me with my things and let me know that some one will help me to check out and thank me for coming. I didn't even get the courtesy to sit to let my toes dry. And he didn't even put lotion on my feet! I felt like I was kicked out! I should have asked to speak to a manager but I was so caught off guard and pissed off that I just left. Monday I think I may call and politely let them know how disappointed I was with my visit. read more
