I been a costumer for the past year and I always get same, regular pedicure that is 35 plus tip they discourage you from using credit cards and if you do use a card they charge you more... so always made sure I bring cash. Yesterday I went for a pedicure,when they were finished the guy with the big pimple on his neck told the price has gone up at this point I responded by saying, you should let the customer know the change in prices before the service... at this point the guy was yelling at me saying " you see the new chairs you have to pay for them " at this point he was so belligerent and aggressive that I was afraid for my safety ' mind you I own a house in Gettysburg work in town I am 70 years old a grandma I would never treat anyone coming to our store the way I was treated, so beware I would not send younger girls by themselves... read more

Beautiful job. Second time there. Went to another salon in between -decided to return to Nails 4 You. Henry does a meticulous job and my hands look lovely. I choose light colors because I feel my hands are not too attractive but they look better now. The gel manicure lasts for 3 weeks and I garden and ride horses and make sculptures. There is a lively Vietnamese conversation at all times and it's eye opening to learn about other cultures. I personally enjoy listening and learning. So, I read all of the reviews and decided that maybe people were exaggerating. No, not the case. I went in for a pedicure and was told 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I was sat in a chair. Another 25 minutes later, I was still sitting. I asked one of the nail techs how much longer. She said she was finishing a top coat. She then said something to a male tech and he got so so rude. Told me I can leave if I want. Got it. I was treated very poorly and honestly was unprovoked. It is sad because it seems as this is something that happens often. I honestly would avoid this place. Go anywhere else but here. Do not recommend, save yourself time. They do not deserve business from hard working folks. Zero customer service. read more

Henry was on the phone yelling at someone (in my face) half the time and then when I politely told him my nails didn't match (bc they didn't) he freaked & kept making comments about how "y didn't u tell me before?!" & then when I was getting my pedicure, he kept saying things as if I couldn't afford the premium pedicure. read more

I came in as a walk in to get a full set of acrylic nails. They were very friendly and quick. He did a great job and was informative about what he was doing and what I should do next time. I should have left from the beginning but i stayed and idk why. They don't use liners in the pedicure chairs and i had to ASK for clean tools because they were going to use clearly used tools. I watched them rinse out my chair and put someone else in it without any kind of cleaning. My full set ended up lumpy, crooked and uneven and i ended up trying to fix how they looked when i got home. When i took the nails off i had fungus growing on my real nail. DONT GO HERE! read more

If you need to get your nails done in Gettysburg, this place is okay. Not horrible, not amazing, but good enough. My nails turned out okay and the prices were reasonable, plus they could fit me in for a last minute appointment. But they definitely rushed to get me in and out quickly - I know the manicurist skipped several steps of my gel manicure including the hand washing part and she started working on another person's nails while still doing mine - going back and forth between us. It was weird and kind of uncomfortable because she was touching multiple people's hands without washing hers and without her full attention on doing my nails. Pedicure was also fast but the final product looked good. There is chipping paint on the walls, old water stains on the ceiling and old carpeted floors which is strange in a nail salon. But they are open until 5 on Saturday, later than any other nail salon. So again of you need your nails done quickly without an appointment and for a good price, this place will do read more

Had several dip manicures here under current new ownership and the woman was delightful -explained how to ask for manicure service which includes cuticle care ( not all services do) However the male owner is difficult;,conveys an arrogance ; had two pedicures there - deluxe and last one resulted in a toe infection requiring antibiotics . Today I decided to give them another chance ; no one in salon and I noted I would like just a full manicure , no polish . I emphasized I wanted cuticles done as recalled being told before they don't always do . Male owner was annoyed at my clarification ; told me to just leave and find another salon ; I was shocked and tried to explain I was only trying to be sure I asked for the correct service . He was belligerent and told me just to leave. I have never left a written review in my life but after reading other comments on here regarding similar behaviors I felt important to share . Went here to get a nail dip. Firstly, the color I picked out and the color they put on my nails were completely different. I picked out a light purple, ended up with blue. Second, they did not touch my cuticles. The end result was sloppy, as they did not even trim my nails evenly. Normally, I would want my dip to last a long time. Since they didn't push my cuticles back at all, these nails barely lasted two weeks. They also cracked on 4 nails after only one week. The price was more expensive than listed, and overpriced for the service I received. I will not be coming here again and would not recommend it for anyone looking for a nail dip. read more

Place is horrible. You walk in, no one acknowledges you. There are minimal color choices, so I recommend you bring your own just in case. The woman who worked on me knows no English... Which I never really have a problem with but literally zero way of explaining to her something important. I can't have my nails cut a certain way for health reasons and she just looked at me confused the entire time. Finally she asked someone else in the store for a translation. She just threw the paint on my nail... It was blotchy and honestly just terrible. Nail chipped the same day I got them done. I know I can do a better job than that... I'd just rather not do it myself for one time... The only good person was the guy who worked there. Knew what he was doing. Very friendly. Made conversation with my friend. I posted a picture - it's the one with the sky blue nail polish (which I brought in myself). As you can see, nothing was done to clean around the nail. Dead skin is still there, cuticles aren't cleaned up. From what I understand, that's pretty standard service. It's not just putting paint on your nail and being done with it. Either that's how this place does it or that's how the person who worked on me does it. Also you can see the nail polish chipped THAT same day. It was good quality nail polish, bad quality service. I've never gotten such bad toe nails done. I asked for acrylic on my big toe nails three times and had to stop him from painting my big toes before laying the acrylic after i repeated myself. Then laid it horribly. It was ragged at the tips and not painted on the tips but it was all over my skin. I've done acrylic myself once before and had to fix these myself and they turned out better than what they did. I had beautiful thick eyebrows with long arches that I took very good care of. Thought I'd give this place a try for eyebrows. Came out with thin and flat eyebrows that were not even. All I wanted was a clean up and they took half of my eyebrows off. Also have been going here for acrylics and there is very little regard for nail health. My acrylics constantly pop up after just a few days. Went to a new nail tech at a different place and she warned me how bad this is because water can get inbetween and cause mold to grow. Lee acknowledged me when I entered the store, and asked what service I was needing. I told her pedicure and went to pick my color.
