Being the one of the only painting/art places for a while in a military town can kinda make you…read morelike the tallest "midget" in a room full of "midgets". This place was fun, i went by myself on a friday where i got off of work early. I went to the story but the beer place that sells growlers (tiny town and trenton) and i was pleasantly surprised. I wish i could actually have made the pottery piece that i painted (false advertising, i think) but that's ok. On Wednesdays they have a military appreciation day where you don't pay $6. Anyways, i picked up a sea shell jewelry box, $15, and painted it for about an hour to an hour in a half with little to no distractions or bothering from the employees. I was kind of annoyed that i had to keep getting up and asking for more paint like a child but i understand. There are a lot of children that go there with their parents and if they were to give me the paint tube, they might think i'd abuse it. So i paid about $23 in total on that Friday, because i didn't go to the Wednesday special, but all and all it was a good time. I'd go there for a date :) it's cute and it gives you time to think and chat if you bring a friend.

TLDR: very rude service. Wouldn't recommend. My friend and…read moreI wanted to try this place out since it was closer to home than another spot we painted at last week. we walked into the store and started looking around at the pottery. We were probably in there for about 4-5 minutes before anyone came up to us which was fine. The woman asked us if we had been to their location before and we both said no. She then pretty rudely stated we needed to go wash our hands before we could do anything. The act of washing our hands was fine, it was just how it was said. She acted as if we were an inconvenience to her day. Also, if washing hands is major concern then maybe they should have someone greeting customers. There were maybe 5-6 other customers in the store already painting and they did not seem overly busy. We both washed our hands and went back to select our pieces. We both got a bad vibe so we decided to leave. Once we left my friend said she overheard the employees talking about us as she washing her hands. If you are looking for a place to paint pottery and don't mind the drive we both loved The Hot Spot in Springfield. They were super helpful and attentive and had lower prices than this store. Only downside is the drive.

Anyhow, just wanted to give a shout out to Artlink and let Clarksville know that if they haven't been there - they are missing out. This week alone they have origami, more stained glass instruction, painting classes, and much more! Its a great place to hang out and convenient to restaurants and other things so come out and make a day of it! My new favorite place in Clarksville!

From the second we sat down the secretary started giving us dirty looks. Our clients happen to be neurodivergent. As we did our Valentine's Day cards We observed her photographing us without our consent. The secretary denied she did this. We were making Valentine's Day cards the entire time and our clients were behaving very appropriately (not that it matters anyway). After the owner of my company thanked the secretary for such great art supplies the secretary proceeded to say that we were weird for meeting there. When my owner asked if this was not a free space on Friday's for crafts the secretary proceeded to say that our group made her specifically made her uncomfortable. There is no way we can ever return here with this secretary present. She clearly let us know we were not welcome there!
