On top of her super sweet personality, and best in class customer service, she turned my wedding dress into my wildest dream come true. I found her on yelp, and after reading her story on her personal page I already knew she would be my gal. My Story: Ever since I was a little girl and found out my mom kept her wedding dress, I always knew I would wear it someday. As we pulled the dress out of storage, I realized how 80's the sleeves were and wanted to bring those babies to this decade's styles, however keep the timeless/vintage look to the dress. Not only was Abby going to "cut up" my wedding dress, but my mother's too! Que anxiety. BUT the first time I met with her I left feeling 100% confident in her. Fast forward, this girl took my vision and manifested it into more magic than I could have ever come up with on my own. Grandma cried, mom bawled, and I felt my most beautiful self on my special day. Abby you are a master of your craft, both creatively and logistically. I will never forget what you did for me and how much of an impact you had on a day I hold closest to my heart.

The initial consultation was great, but at my first fitting, there were black stains and a blood stain on my dress. She was difficult to schedule follow up fittings with as well. She sent it to be professionally cleaned before my third and final fitting, and it still had dirt stains on my train. She gave me the number of the cleaner and told me to handle it with them. I ended up having to spent 6 hours spot cleaning and re-steaming my own dress days before the wedding. She did cover the cleaning fee, but it still wasn't clean and I did not receive any money back for the damage. There's no reason a wedding dress should be damaged and stained during the alteration process.

With my daughter's work schedule she let time get away and ending up needing alterations about 2 weeks before she needed to travel. We were promised completion in a week and actually were shocked to get a call about 3 days after dropping off the dress. Because she is 'top heavy' the seamstress suggested adding a thin strap which ended up not being needed once the body if the dress was fitted correctly.
