Not sure where to start... I really didn't want to leave a bad review especially being an owner of a BOB I know how detrimental these reviews can be, but as the days went on and I become more and more disgusted by my nails, which only 5 days later I had to go get them redone to my liking. Let's start at the door, you have to be buzzed into the salon (idk, but I felt that was weird) and the lady who opened (who seems like more of a bad receptionist than a nail tech based on my results) the door gave me a crazy look like "who are you and why are you here" type of look so I had to ask "you guys do take walk ins right?" To which she said "yea, what do you need" I needed a full set and a pedicure. I was instructed to choose my color(s) which I did. She had me sit down and SEEMED nice enough but throughout my visit I could tell she was REALLY TRYING to act nice and it wasn't genuine at all. I was annoyed by her, she was annoyed by me and I could tell she didn't do nails REGULARLY just by how she handled the tools and kept cutting my fingers. Now, in regards to my actual nails, I was at the salon for TWO HOURS and NEVER GOT MY PEDICURE. At the end I was told that "everyone has appointments coming so there would be no one to do your nails and Keisha don't do feet" don't get me wrong, I already know that the owners typically don't do feet but the way she said it annoyed me further. Now let's talk pricing... $25 for my full set, $10 extra for coffin shape, now I chose a gel polish which normally is $10 extra to which they charge $25 EXTRA so now I'm looking at $60. Now at the place I usually go to, I get 2 designs, I asked for the cost of rhinestones on the 2 fingers and was told I it would cost $15 per nail which would put me at $90 so instead I asked for a glitter paint to which I was told was going to be $5 extra... which I guess I had to pay for her to put one bottle down and open the other, I'm still confused as to why another polish color would be extra, but whatever. By this point, I'm over this place and just want to leave. I should have said something to the owner about my nails before I left but that's my fault I didn't. In the end I knew I wasn't going to be happy so I said "you know what, let's scratch all the extra stuff and just do regular paint" for which I paid my $35 to get the hell outta there. The edges of my nails weren't painted and when I said something to my nail tech, of course she got an attitude, but I had her paint them all correctly. I also mentioned the the shape was odd I said to her "why do they look so round and bubbly??" She acted like my English wasn't that could and gave me another one of those looks (this was the 3rd time) I couldn't put my finger on it then but now I realize they looked like that because the acrylic is laid OVER my cuticle line so they look oddly shaped. Ugh. Anyway to think they almost tried to charge me $90 for this CRAP that was on my nails just pissed me off. To the owner, I've read some wonderful things about YOU but be weary of employees who don't care for your business the way you do, they will literally run you into the ground! I wish you the best of luck and all the blessings but I personally will not step foot back over there. I regards to the paint in the pictures, don't judge the salon because maybe I didn't let them dry properly. She told me to run the machine 4 times which is 16 minutes. Great Instagram photos! But I had a TERRIBLE experience and received NO service. Walk- In Service is False Advertisement! The Walk-Ins are told to leave and they will be called back at a later time when Nail Bully Keisha has serviced her appointments. That is NOT a walk- in. No respect of people's time or distance traveled, etc. Nail Bully Keisha was cruel and insensitive calling me impatient making mention of me being used to going to the "Chinese" people ( and here I am trying to support a black owned business) and after waiting from 11:00 to 3:00 for her to call me in for a service she told me that if I wanted to make an appointment for Friday April 8th I had to show up with no old nails on or gel polish because she would NOT be soaking them off. Making an appointment with the manager was an equally HORRIBLE experience as she likes to go back and forth with the client about something as simple as setting an appointment. I could hardly hear her because the phone line was distorted. Anyway, I don't care how good of a job you can do, If you can not treat every client with respect and sensibility when it comes to services rendered, how can you expect to run a successful business? It doesn't make sense to take walk-ins at 11 AM whom you may not be able to service until after 6 PM. I will be sharing this horrible experience with whomever I think deserves to know. I don't care if your consistent clientele thinks you are the best, that doesn't give Keisha the right to speak to new clients with disrespect, rude tones of voice and be condescending, egotistical, etc. Keisha you are quite the BULLY! Just had an AWFUL experience. Had to ask the lady to make my nails all the same shape. Don't understand why I should have to ask that. She cut basically all of my fingers. The acrylic job is atrocious. Paint job is also pretty bad. Was charged $70. I'm trying to reach out to the owner because I think the other nail techs are better but I don't know the point of even having a nail tech this bad. This is your new nail salon. I kept bouncing around trying different nail salons in Dania and Hollywood, and they all just did such a mediocre job, I just started doing my nails myself. I wanted to try gel nails, so I found Nail Bully on Yelp. I called ahead as I headed over, and I only waited a few minutes. (In reference to the other reviews I read about waiting, I was a bit confused. A good nail salon should be busy. I would be more concerned if there was no wait! All you do is call ahead or book an appointment and you shouldn't have to wait much.) Ann did my nails and she did a fantastic job doing my gel nails. Everyone is super friendly and warm as soon as you walk through the door. They do a very thorough and clean job. Most other places do a rush job and it comes out sloppy. Really need more people for pedicures. Ive been here twice and has had to wait over two hours after my booked appt to receive a pedicure due to lack of pedicure specialist. Also i felt scammed multiple times with the high prices going here to the point i did not know what i was paying for. The quality of my nails begin to decrease after so many services here. The shop is beautiful but me and a few other women i recommended begin to notice the same things, i support all black owned businesses but this is one that i will no longer support for many obvious reasons.
