The service requested was completed. However, they could learn to be more gentle when they give pedicures. It was quite a rough experience and I didn't feel relaxed at all. The vibe of the place is very nice. R&B music played and they even offered us drinks. However, the quality of the manicure I received felt a bit amateur. My manicurist had to do a lot of touchup work. Finally, I don't know why this is so common in the DMV area but gel nails should first be soaked and then scaped for removal. Not just dry scraped, which is terrible for nail health. My nails were scraped three times in a row both mechanically and manually and they looked horrible before painting. There are even indentations on some of my nails now. I wonder how long it'll take for them to recover. Never again. Everyone who worked there was kind though, so at least there's that. read more

This is the worst of the worst. If you're looking for a nail salon this is not it. I was there on Memorial day 2025 for an overlay and pedicure. I left went home washed dishes and the polish started to peel on 4 fingers. Make. Long story short. I went back 4 times for polish peeling. Like people has time to go the nail salon 4 days in a row. There service sucks, the polish is watered down with acitone in which the polish does not stay on for a day. I will never refer or go back to this establishment. This shop used to be decent. Now that Vin is gone it has completely turned into trash. There's always some mixup with appointments. The technicians are TAKING SHOTS while working on clients. I've had to come back several times to have my nails fixed. They aren't stocked up on wine and sodas for the customers anymore. The techs are loud and it's anything but relaxing when you go in. I had an appointment for 5pm. I was asked to come in earlier only to be waiting because my tech was still doing someone else's pedicure. Then she wanted to brush me off on another technician saying she was DRUNK! After soaking for 30 mins Myly told me she wasn't doing my services because she didn't feel like it , I could take my feet out and leave. I've been a loyal customer for 3 years. New nail place that opened in Reistertown RD plaza. my normal lady at metro nails left with no forwarding address lol so I am adrift nail wise and trying to find a new home. I wanted this place to be it but im not sure how i feel..... The prices are a tad high, the wait was ridiculous (there were only four people working on a saturday) and the actual services are hit or miss. To start with the bad and get it out of the way. My pedicure wasnt great. I had to direct the woman doing my feet multiple times about her using and mis using the pumice stone just didnt leave with baby soft feet like i would have wanted. they also offer you wine. Or at least i think they do. while i was there (the 3 hours mind you) only one woman actually was offered wine and i was not one of them. I dont know if this was lucky or not but the woman who did my pedicure ONLY does pedicures so i had to wait on another person to do my fill in. and when i say wait i mean legit 52 minutes. And i know this because i started a phone call and 52 minutes later was when someone sat down at my station and finally started working on my hands. So Candy was great! my nails looks great and she was super thorough and professional, not to mention she slayed these brows ok?! This is the WORST experience that I have encountered in my life. The nail tech was ROUGH, had a hackling disgusting cough throughout my service, he kept twisting my fingers to file. He kept making comments like "Relax" "You so Stiff" ... how can I relax when my fingers are being handled rough... not to mention I waited about 15 minutes for the tech to begin my service... the constant coughing and the pulling of my wrist through the plastic barrier. When it was time to pay I told the receptionist about my encounter and he offered to make it right. However, with the service that I just experienced I wanted to leave immediately. very disappointing. If you are looking for good quality nails this spot is not for you. I just got a full set done yesterday, and they are horrible, the nails are so thin and flat. i asked for coffin shape and got a pointed shape instead. the job was rushed and not worth the money. the middle finger nail was filed down on one side it literally looked like this /. I went back to get it fixed but honestly all the nails were horrible. Beautiful nail spa. But it's only an illusion. 20 pedicure chairs with just as many tables with only 3 techs. My feet were left in water until it went cold. When I asked about the water the mail tech snapped at me. Natalie was the tech and very rough and rude. As nice as the shop was I had to change my color three times cause they only had one bottle a the color and it was empty or old. The pain in my large toe from the digging was unbearable. Ok, so I really really wanted to LOVE this place! It's new and so close to my house. Unfortunately, this will not be a good review for them. Made appointments for myself and a friend the week before for pedicures and gel manicures/fills. Get there a little before 6. The man at the front was very nice and offered me a drink which is why they're receiving 2 stars. A lady comes in upset about her lashes and gets to arguing back and forth with one of the staff; ummmmm that's super unprofessional in my book!!!There were only 4 and I repeat FOUR staff working and they all had people when we came in!! Mind you, this was a Friday evening! 6:40 rolls around and we're STILLLL waiting! I asked if we would get started soon and the man asked me to just be patient as they were running behind from earlier appts. While I understand that, it's already been 40 minutes!!!! Not to mention, the lady was pissed after going back and forth with the customer and I refuse to allow someone whom is upset, work on my hands and especially my feet. No thanks!! So proceed at your own risk. I called and made us appointments with a salon we usually go to for the next day and we walked out. No one said anything. Won't be returning. I came to visit this shop four times and each time I've come service was great but the product NOT SO GOOD. I came in 2/14/2020 for a fill and pedicure and then had to return on 2/15/2020 because my GEL polish was chipping. Another person so-called tried to fix it but my nails were even worse when I left. I tried giving this place another chance after my first experience when they first opened and I see it is still the same poor service with old gel polish and over-priced fees. I cannot wait until my nail technician Hanna at Bella Nails in Owings Mills returns from emergency leave because the prices I pay with her is well worth it. Nail Trix will NEVER get another dime from me....2 strikes and you're out. At this point I do not even want to go back for them to fix what was supposedly fixed from the first time my nails messed up. Never again!! P.S. I was referred to this salon by a co-worker about 4 months ago. She had gone and was given a pedicure by Tommy. So I made my appointment with Tommy. I got a full set and a pedicure and Tommy did not disappoint me. The spa is absolutely beautiful and I felt truly pampered. A great nail tech AND atmosphere, WINNING! Ask for Tommy. MyLy gave me a lazy pedicure. She rushed through it. She didn't rub the salt scrub on the bottom of my feet nor did she run it up my leg. A quick go with the pumice stone and it was done. I literally could have kept my pant legs down for this. Mind you the cheapest pedi is $28. Very disappointed, but she did an awesomely excellent job on my nails thank goodness. A gel mani is $35. Over priced. The salon is gorgeous but I'll be returning to my moderately priced salon with the folding waiting chairs and actually get a pedi that INCLUDES the callous remover for $20, not a $28 foot wash with a color change. read more

I would like to start off by saying that I wanted to give this salon zero stars but yelp would not let me. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. Not only did they did not sterilize their tools between customers but they were horribly rude. I got a gel French manicure that resulted in lines that were all crooked, uneven, and different sizes. I requested a colored line under my tip on my ring finger and the staff member informed me that she was unable to do that. I asked if anyone else in the nail salon could draw a line on my nail and she informed that that they could not. The end result also left me with gel paint all over my fingers and little black specs all throughout my white tips. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the women congregated in the back and were laughing and pointing. I do not know how this place manages to stay open. read more

Today was my first time and my last time coming to this nail salon. I had a 9:00 am appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure, when I got there a gentleman began my manicure. After filing my nails his appointment came in and he asked an older lady to finish my nails. The manicure was mediocre. She didn't pay close attention to detail and it was rushed. She also did not buff my nails so that it was a smooth surface for the polish to go on to. I told her that and she continued to paint. As she's painting my nails she sees the lumps in my nails and begins to scrape it with her fingers. Once she was finished my nails were bumpy and sloppy. She kept trying to go around them with polish remover but it didn't work. I asked her to do two nails over bc they stood out the most. She refused to take the polish off and do the two nails over, instead she used a drill and filed some of the paint off and began painting over it again. And of course it was still bumpy and sloppy. She starts my pedicure and doesn't ask which pedicure I want. At this time she has an attitude and seems defeated. The pedicure was mediocre as well. It was no effort put into it. Then midway through she hears another nail tech ask his client what pedicure she wants , and then she asked me. She kept standing up and looking around as if she was waiting for someone else to take over. Needless to say my toes were sloppy and I had to tell her to go over them as well. Finally after staring at my all of my nails trying to hold in my disgust I asked her to just paint them over and buff my nails so it's a smooth surface. She then gets up and goes in the back to do someone's eyebrows in the middle of my pedicure. I speak with them manager and show him my nails, he agrees that she will take the polish off and do them over. When the nail tech comes back she just stands at the pedicure bowl and says ok come on. I have to grab my own purse and water and walk over to her table. When I sat down she began to drill the nail polish down. After doing that she starts to put clear on top and then more polish. I tell her no. You need to take this polish completely off and buff my nail so that it's smooth and neat. What you're doing is making a mess. She then tell me to sit at the station connected to hers and pours acetone remover in a bowl and says put your hands in there. I told her no I would prefer my nails to be wrapped in aluminum instead of my hands soaking in acetone. She gets mad. I asked to speak with the manager again. She then says ok ok I'll wrap nail for you I'll wrap it. I said yes you will wrap it but I also need to speak to your manager. She then says she doesn't know where he is. Then asked me to switch seats again. Keep in mind it's the same station. Finally she wraps my nails and the manager comes. When the manager comes she walks away and starts doing someone else pedicure. Not even caring about what transpired.I explained my concerns and dissatisfaction to the manger, he apologized and says he will get another nail tech for me but to also KEEP IN MIND WE HAVE BAD DAYS TOO. I told him I understand people have bad days but I was her first client and she was happy and fine until I told her she didn't do a good job and asked her to fix it. Once I asked her to fix it that's when she became upset. After a few minutes the manager came back and said he would take 10% off of my bill for my patience... not bc of the horrible service but for waiting. What he failed to tell me is that I would be waiting another 45 minutes for a specific nail tech to assist me. I had a 9:00 appointment and the new nail tech began my nails at 11:23. The new nail tech did a better job. By then I was just over it. I paid $56 I guess that was the 10% off. Hell I deserved it for being there for 3 hours just for basic service! Overall the service was less than desirable I will not be back. The establishment is very nice inside and very clean which is why I gave them 2 stars. However the customer service and professionalism needs improvement. One nail tech was singing " I want to go home I want to go home, and smoke some weed." And began to laugh as he was doing a lady's pedicure with her child sitting next to her. I couldn't believe this was acceptable. I usually go to a luxury nail salon in Owings mills but because my specific nail tech was busy I decided to try a new establishment. I will never come back here. read more

I have been getting my nails done (acrylic nails and pedicures) for the last 25 years. I was looking for a new place and when I walked in my first impression was "What a beautiful salon" Classy, chandelier, high end. Well I got the shock of my life! I proceeded to get the WORST fill-in manicure and pedicure EVER. The woman's name was Kim. I was a walk-in. The pedicure was first. I paid $38, extra for callous removal, which she did not do. My big toe is still whitish and scaly. She wisked through it. She was sloppy and rough and very rude. When I asked for my nails to be rounded, she rolled her eyes and said,"You Americans!" I was not offered a cold drink...it was 90 degrees outside, while I looked around and noticed several customers with glasses of wine. She never said goodbye. I went to the drying station, paid the bill $64 and did not leave a tip. What a disappointment! Needless to say, I will NEVER go there again. read more
