This is the worst place in Las Vegas to get your nails done. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. I have had horrible luck finding a good nail place since November and they were the 4th and the owner knew about my bad luck and told me to give them a try and she's sure I won't want to go anywhere else and I spent 150.00 on a new set of Acrylic nails with gel polish, nothing fancy, and a SUPPOSED PEDICURE that was supposed to match my nails. Well let me tell you what a TRAIN WRECK this whole experience has been. First of all the prices were NOT WHAT I WAS QU0TED ON THE PHONE. And we're significantly higher than I was expecting or wanting to pay but I thought what the hell? If they do a good job and I found a place to get my nails done that it would be worth it. NOT. When I got home after I got them done and looked them over I couldn't believe what I saw. There was BIG GLOBS OF HARDENED ACRYLIC ON THE UNDER SIDE OF MY NAILS AND MY TOENAILS DIDN'T EVEN MATCH. So I called and they fixed it and I tried to tip her and she wouldn't let me. I TOLD THE OWNER THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT I WAS GRATEFUL. Then 2 weeks into the situation I broke one and Tina said to come in and she would fix it and so I went in a couple days later and she said SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME AND I COULD COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AT 1:00 PM and they would fix it. So THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID AND SHE SAID SHE WAS BOOKED AND WOULDN'T FIX IT EVEN AFTER, COMING THERE WITH AN APPOINTMENT AND DRIVING THERE 2 DAYS IN A ROW SHE WOULDN'T EVEN FIT IN 1 NAIL REPAIR THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID THIS ESTABLISHMENT 150.00. WOW. I couldn't believe it. And it was THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 50 YEARS. They don't do anything special, no lotions,person, massage. Still had calloused that I know they could have been better. Then her husband tried to come out to my car and INTIMIDATE ME. NOT!!!!!! NO WONDER THIS PLACE ONLY HAS A 3 STAR RATING. It's a Sunday and I wanted to get my nails done so, I typically go with my friend to her usual spot but wasn't able to make it today. I did a quick search and found a place near where I live and so I jumped on my e-scooter and stopped by their shop. Good news is they talk walks in. As soon I as I walked in I was greeted by a couple of their staff members. Super friendly. Not even a couple of minutes and someone was ready for me. She was very nice and went to work on my nails immediately. Even though she had a very strong accent we still had a pleasant conversation. As I sat there watching her use all sorts of tools on my fingers it's always fascinating to watch the artistic and technicality of nail technicians work. So intense. I feel bad that I didn't get her name but I'll definitely want to come back here again. My nails look good and I'm ready for my upcoming vacation! First experience was awesome. The owner did my gel mani/pedi & she was so great that I drove all the way across town to get them done again. Second time I got a different woman (don't know her name but she's the last station & im starting to know why...) she did an okay job but she kept trying to upsell me with other services & my mani was a little bumpy. Tried again today but just wanted a plain mani (needed to give my nails a bit of a break & also money is tight) and I got the same woman as before so I went with it hoping for the best. I should have refused her. I have real nails & two broke so I trimmed my others down a bit but I'm cool with having 2 shorter nails. Well, she made fun of my broken nails, tried to upsell me to gel nail polish, tried to upsell me for a wax, drenched my nails in acetone (I had old gel nail polish on them) so much so that it soaked my whole hand) sped through the whole process because obviously I wasn't spending enough money to waste her time, when I said one of my nails was filed crooked she proceeded to tell me it the ridges in my nail & I had to correct her & show her she actually filed it lopsided she proceeded to file the shit out of it & all my other nails down to nubs. Not exaggerating here! She got down to the nail bed on a few! Then charged me an extra $10 to remove my previous polish and dropped my bill on the station my friend was at while I was drying my nails. I got to pay but the other nail tech just charged my friend for both or services before we knew what was happening. I called to complain to the owner , asked for her & whoever answered the phone first said they weren't there & when I said I had just left & know for a fact she's there, she said oh, Lee? I said yes, she then said oh this is her. So I feel like I just complained to the woman who worked on me because she then was very defensive & made the excuse that it's normal to charge for gel removal & it's only free when you get another gel mani, not for reg mani which is price gouging. Interesting establishment, seems lile the woman initially working on my nails had a hard time trying to get my gels off. It shouldn't have taken them nearly a hour process to remove gels. I wanted soak my feet but the woman seemed to leave me unattended sitting duck in soaked acetone for the gels... when she finally soaked my feet the water was boiling hor and uncomfortable. I do nor agree with the process they have my nails are not the greatest my toes seem better days from other nail salons. I cannot agree with only 2 layers of gel color my nails received work that is I guess what you pay for. Gel manicure and pedicure $60. Seems about right when the overall service is absurd. read more

I stumbled across this place while running errands. I was a bit weary since I never seem to like anywhere new when it comes to my nails....but I was very wrong! The place is simple and quiet...but that doesn't affect the service at all. From the moment I walked in the staff was welcoming and fun. They greeted me with a smile and asked what I was in the mood for. I was getting a simple mani/pedi which was going to cost me $32. I felt this was a great deal and accepted. I waited for a little while, but they had a few things to watch on TV...so I was occupied. When it was my turn for service, they were prompt, efficient, and top notch. The technician (named Jenny) chatted with me about general life things and we laughed like old friends. The other technician joked with a few other customers for us all to enjoy, so it felt as if we'd been going there for years. They did offer some upgrade treatments but weren't pushy when I wasn't interested. I appreciated that greatly. My nails were clean and perfect when she was done with them. I went here last night to get my nails done as a treat to myself after a hard week at work. Pretty simple. Just remove my old gels and get new ones and my nails rounded off again. I'm not sure of the guy's name that did my nails but he filed them so far back that I have slivers of nail left. The polish was all lumpy and the edges were all rough and jagged so I asked for them to redo it. So he then files my nails even more. He filed so much of my nail off on one finger that it had to be filled in with acrylic powder. My fingers actually hurt and burn whenever they get wet. My nails are so fragile now that I have to wait at least a week and hope that they grow back alright so they can be fixed by another salon. If you enjoy having fingernails, don't go here. read more

i live 40 min away from this salon (buffalo & cactus) & I always make the drive to come specifically here. Even tho there's plenty of nice nail shops near me, i will always come to this one. I get my pedicure done here and they're amazing for a great price. They also use hot rocks on your legs included in the pedicure and on other places, they charge you extra. Some clients are very ghetto and will be rude to the workers but they're very respectful and don't make a scene. (try to not go in the beginning of the month cuz many people use the food stamps and gets pretty packed) Now, my family, friends and I all go to this salon. read more

But one star fits the reduenes me & my family received from the employer & the management is horrible. I'm new to the the city so it's only right I find me a bomb ass nail shop & I thought I found that here but the staff changed that quickly. I came in a second time with my aunt who's intown from Florida & my mother-in-law law from Tennessee is intown & I talked very highly about the shop & I don't do that. We made an appointment for 4pm the lady said we might have to wait a min, which is fine because we still needed to find our colors so cool we get there at 4 wait about 30 minutes, then two girls who walked in they get service done before us 3 ppl with the appointment & if she couldn't take us at 4 she should've said 4:30 or 5 my mother-in-law was very unhappy with that. & we wanted to get a lip waxed so we adding on services too our 2 pedi, one fullset a fill-in & polish change & you could banked off 3 ppl more then just two ppl,im just saying becausemy mother-in-lawlovesto tip & when its good serviceher tips are the best! But the lady who tells us to come on back was very very VERY rude & I'm just being polite about it all. I was sitting down to abouy get my feet done & my mother-in-law wanted her feet done the same time as me but since they took back the two girls before us 3 they wanted to do her nail & that's not what she wanted. & im just thinking this is not good customer service. Then the lady is so nasty rude you can see it on her face, hear it in her voice when she was speaking to us & her body language. A little back story as to why i was so emotional at the newly renamed Nail Top. I have had my nails done repeatedly at this facility for the past 10 years, I've seen new management and new owners rename and spruce up the place. I've had good amazing experiences and horrible experiences. A week ago, I experienced the worst nail accident anyone could have and had my pinky nail removed. I can no longer grow a pinky nail due to the damage. Since I had a pretty lengthy remaining acrylic set, I decided to come in to this establishment. After waiting 30-40 minutes, finally I had an older gentleman assist me in the removal of my nails. As nervous as I was I had high hopes. Then he clipped my acrylic and long nails, before taking the tip of plastic nail guide to slowly start separating the top acrylic from the nail bed. I asked him not to as I've had this in the past and have done this at home with a credit card or a thin plastic. He promised me it would do me no harm. Well he did. He removed a portion of the nail bed from my pinky nail. Trying to remain polite but feeling the anger grow due to the previous trauma I had this week, I calmly told him I could not have him continue to work on my nails. That I would pay him for the half he removed but I could not have him touch my fingers anymore. He, due to his English levels had a hard time understand me, this I repeated various times the area he removed nail bed from me. He tried to explain to me that he would buff my nail and paint over it. Getting more and more upset I explained to him that he could not if my NAIL BED was exposed due to his own recklessness to try and do a quick job. He then brought out acetone to attempt to remove them. Which I did not consent to due to my NAIL bed being exposed. Quickly the owner came and attempted to help me fix the problem. She is an extremely sweet woman who will do whatever she can to fix the problem, normally switching clients to attempt and fix the situation. The tech I had, arrogant and ignorant, told me that I could have this happen to me at any shop (which granted I could at any second rate cheap shop). Being knowledgeable on nails and watching various YouTube videos, he could have easily soaked my fingers in acetone in the long wait I had. The acrylic would have melted off and he could have scraped it off with a small cuticle tool or another spatula type instrument, saving my nail. The trauma I've experienced this week and the new trauma my other pinky nail has is enough for me to advice against the men in this shop. read more

Well I left with acrylic still on my skin I had to ask for a new filer, as the one that was being used was crackled and dull. they did not have any new ones. She started to buff my nails I had to stop her and grab the filer to try and lift the acrylic from my skin and nails and to even them out.... Polish time. she missed the sides completely and put a top coat that was so thick and streamy it looks disgusting on my nails. I see why they make you pay first, work is really shitty.
