After I complained I was told to call back to speak to the manager so I did. She just screamed no no no and hung up. SHELLAC SHOULD NOT CHIP CHEAP PRODUCTS TO MATCH THE SERVICE. The essential neck, back & shoulder maasage uses parrafin wax and comes with a arm massge and use of a hot towel. This particular massage lasts for just under an hour and is all so heavenly! The décor was pretty average and not overwhelming. The lighting wasn't too bright and there was calming music playing through the speakers. During the hour I drifted off into a relaxed trance and I felt so much better for the rest of the day. Great experience.

The lady who did my nails was really bubbly and we chatted about nails and beauty treatments in general. She was good at her job as she made me want to try out all the treatments in the salon! As part of my manicure she massaged my hands and arms and it was SO good, I felt very relaxed and pampered afterwards. The price was £15.00 which is not too bad for a manicure and I have paid more than that before. I would visit again if I was in the area because the service was good and my nails looked fabulous!

I couldn`t believe my eyes, I told the chinese lady that what she did wasn`t a proper manicure, she said she can`t do anything else and it`s £15. I paid and left. Never felt so annoyed and robbed. I went to get gel nail polish and I have to say was shocked by the uncleanliness of the nail stations, drying machines etc. I think the job was a rushed one which explains why it didn't last very long. I probably won't wind up there again and CERTAINLY won't be popping upstairs for a 'breast lift', 'face lift' or 'femi-tightening' (?!) which they advertised on the walls.

The first couple of times I had visited natural nail care my experience was amazing. James, the nail technician took good care of me, made sure my nails were perfect and even gave me a little discount. However the third and FINAL time I visited James his service was terrible. This is due to James being the only nail technician on this particular day and still trying to be fully booked. He would book women in twenty minute space slots resulting in him rushing my nails. Each nail was of different thickness, the nail didn't reach the side of my natural nail resulting in it being exposed under the fake nail. He drilled my natural nails down so much that 6months later they are still struggling to grow. I asked him if my nail varnish was opaque (not see through) and he nodded. However my nail varnish was very clear. But that is small matters. I also asked if I could have a jesus' cross on one of the nails which he had forgotten about and ended up having to do the cross while my nails were drying and another client was in his chair. James decided to try and do it free hand resulting in a very wobbly cross. I was Dissapointed in the overall service. My nails looked nothing like what I imagined. I asked very politely if he could take the cross off and change the nail varnish to an opaque one like I asked but he said he would take the cross off and leave the nail varnish. I know what it Is like making sure the customer is always right as I am a makeup artist myself. And even though I was as polite as possible. It still resulted in James talking about me with his client which my little sister of 9 Years old witnessed and told me about. My advice is If you're going to go to natural nail care GO WHEN ITS QUIET do not go on a Friday a Saturday or a Sunday my Nails are ridged and damaged and don't think I'll ever be able to wear fake nails again.

Most girls know it isn't the easiest thing to find a hairdresser that you are comlpetely happy with, especially when you have crazily long hair like me. I can now say that I have managed that feat! Trish and the girls here are all really friendly and welcoming. When I told them how far I had travelled they were astounded. I didn't tell them any of my hair horror stories because I just wanted to see what they would do. I wanted to go with some highlights and though it's time consuming I've always had the foils rather than the painful cap - yes I'm a wimp. Emma, my stylist, had a good chat with me and she suggested I try a different type of cap that she has been using for years which is virtually pain free. I'll admit I wasn't keen, especially at hearing the word 'virtually' but I agreed to let her go ahead. How thankful was I? There's always going to be sensitive areas but this 'magical' cap worked wonders. 2 hours later (rather than the 4 and a half hours I was used to) my cut and colour was complete. It looked so good I welled up slightly (something they tease me about now). I cannot rate Elegant Hair any higher. They always do exactly what I want in an atmosphere of giggles and relaxation. If I can make the effort of 2 hours then you should really give it a go!
