I started coming to this nail salon right after I moved to Jax (which was about three years ago). I refuse to go anywhere else. They are absolutely amazing in every way. I come in and am greeted right away and asked how they can help me. I have never waited longer than five minutes here. As I said before I refuse to go anywhere else so a few of the ladies I know very well, so when I walk in they all have a smile on their face and ask me how I have been, if I work that day, etc. Now down to business, I usually get my nails, eyebrows, and toes done here. They never fail me. Such a clean and sterile environment, friendly conversation, and an all around relaxing atmosphere. They offer drinks and grapes, and bring out tools that are vacuum sealed just like at the dentist. Unlike other salons they take their time making sure not to rush, putting the polish on perfectly and really just making the experience so relaxing for the customer. I have never had a bad experience at this place. They have me for life and I recommend everyone I can to them. After days and even two weeks later my nails and toes look amazing. I would give them ten stars if I could. Also, their nail polish selection has any color you could possibly think of. read more

charged me $60 for a full set when all I got was a fill in. I had all my nails already on I just wanted a change of color and that's all I got and it was $60. And made my nails disgustingly thick will never come here again. read more

I'm here right now and they are abysmally understaffed. I was left with acetone on my nails for 45 minutes, it started burning and I had to rip it off because no one came to take the foils off. When I told the woman who put them on she needed to remove the excess powder residue so I could leave, she said she needed to finish with her current customer first. Words cannot describe my angry right now. read more

AMAZING experience with this nail studio. Kelly worked on my nails and did a fabulous job. She was really detail oriented and took time to make sure it was going to be done right! This nail salon is located a few doors from Ashley Furniture Store. Hours: M-Sa: 10am - 8PM Sun: 12 noon - 5PM Professional nail care salon for ladies and gentleman. This facility has the massage foot bath stations. I had a manicure, costing $12, with tools that were removed from a sealed sanitary equipment bag -- like at the dental office! Nail Studio also gives you a baggie with your own files so that you can bring them back for your use only for subsequent visits. They also offer massages, waxing, parrafin wax dip (which makes your hands oh, so soft!). read more

Nail Studio - River City Market Place near the Airport - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Man I LOVE this place. Drove in from Tallahassee and was waiting for others to catch up. I drive around and bump into this place. Nice welcoming and professional salon. I entered and a gentlemen kindly asked what service was I having, put my name on a list, and had me seated. Within maybe 5 minutes I seated in a massage chair to await my pedicure. Looking around there were very few TV's (most shops have flat screens all around). But what was nice about this place, there were mini chairs for children! And there so happen to be two little girls getting pedicures in these teddy like massage chairs. They were seated and given portable DVD players that were playing Dora the Explorer. If I had any kids I would take them here. After my long drive this place was golden. I was offered a drink (not just water like everyone else is doing). I decided on Raspberry Snapple with Green & Black Tea while my feet soaked in some blue-green mineral. I got a nice foot scrub followed by a massage of my legs and feet with lotion and a hot towel. By the time I was done I felt like I was walking on clouds. What was different was all the tools that were used on my feet were brand new! Pedicure cost $30 total (not sure if there was an extra cost for the designs on my nails). I really didn't care because my technician recieved a tip. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars (not many options in nail color). But LOVED that they carried OPI Lacquer. read more

Best pedi and mani ever. Excellent customer service. Complimentary beverages and snacks. The salon is clean and decorated nicely. They use sterilized equipment right out the package. They use new Emory boards and buffers on you which you take home with you. The basin on the spa bath has a plastic liner that is changed after each customer. I appreciate all the steps they go through to make my visit safe and clean. My mani / pedi $35 was relaxing with the massage and hot towels. My toes and nails were done to my standards . I would recommend getting services from here. I will be returning. read more

Omg, this will be my nail place from now on. Not only are the tools sterilized and the bowls lined, you get your own file and exfoliating scrubber. Every time you come back, bring your own kit. Very nice touch!! read more

I'm not pleased with the service here. First off we waited 60+ minutes for a pedicure because there were only 3 staff members working on a Saturday in the middle of the day. I came with my girlfriend and they sat me down first, ran my water and then didn't start working on my feet for 60 minutes so my water turned cold. Then after 60 minutes they sat my girlfriend down two seats over from me so we couldn't talk. Then they ran her water & overflowed the foot bowl so water ran all over the floor. I'm giving it 2 stars because the manicure and pedicure looks nice overall & that matters more. However, I will not be returning. read more

I will not be back to this salon. The lady was rude the entire time, she rushed and did a sloppy job. I only went in for a gel color change and my nails shortened. I am extremely unsatisfied, leaving with uneven, sticky nails with gel all around the sides. read more

The salon is on the small side, yet I only had to wait about 5 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. I got the standard manicure (not the gel). The technician was very good, and the salon and tools were all very clean. I really liked the hand scrub they suggested I use after they filed my nails. The manicure is very pretty and I thought the price was appropriate for the location. They would have earned a 5th star with a better hand/arm massage. read more

The first time we were here it was a great experience, The last 3 times we have been here service was less than expected in comparison. the prices seem higher. Language barriers prevented resolving concerns. read more

I liked this place, but felt like it was a bit expensive and I think my nail tech talked me into higher priced items but there was a language barrier. I think they do that on purpose which is both clever and rude. If I come back I will definitely be firm on what exact services I want. I loved the pedicure chairs and my nails did come out looking great. The place itself is very clean and seems to be well managed. read more

This has been a hell of an experience. I spoke to "Lucy" on the phone, got an appointment and told her I wanted a full set with gel polish. She gave me a price and hung up. When I get there I was immediately seated, so I had high hopes. My nails were bare- no polish, no acrylic. She starts by shaving them thinner for zero reason. I asked her why and she had no answer, just stopped. The acrylic went on fine and then she starts shaping them. I asked for almond shape and got pointy! When I mentioned one was uneven she insisted she'd fix it. They are all different sizes and shapes. She did two coats of gel polish with no base coat and had them under the light for uneven amounts of time. When cleaning them up she filed so hard she ripped my thumb open. She pulled me forward over twenty times to get closer to her while she sat back and relaxed.. it was the most awful unpleasant salexperience I've ever had. read more

I would not return. The lady didn't do a good job. I had to ask her to fix my nail two or three times, and instead of acknowledging that there was a problem and fixing it, she was trying to find excuse for me to accept the issue. I asked her to fix, she tried, put me under the fan and never came back to check on me. I ended up leaving. This picture is less than an hour after I left. Please try somewhere else. read more

Nail Studio - So happy with my new mani! So shiny I can literally see myself in em lol - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

This will be the last time I use this salon. I had gel nails done and I was back within a week to get 3 repaired and the a few days later came in and had 4 more fixed. The guy was rude squeezed my hand harder than necessary. Then they talking in their language about me. I know because I asked the manager what he said. I initially paid $75 for this and to get crappy work and have to come back 2X for repair and get an attitude when I do, and wanting to charge me more for the repairs. I have never had to come back to get gel nails repaired before. DONE. read more

Omg! This place is awful.. It was my first and last time. They are extremely over priced and the quality is terrible. I went with my mom and we both got gel on our fingers and toes. The polish bubbled and was all over my fingers and my mom's nails weren't filed even. After two days the polished has chipped and pealed off.. I will NEVER go back! Do not go here! I wish I could give this place a negative star. read more

Nail Studio - Chipped after two days! - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

They don't have their prices listed so that they can make up prices while you're getting the service. I was told one price and when I looked at my receipt, the wax representative had charged me more than the usual price AND the price she stated right before swiping my card. She said one price but then added extra right before swiping my card as if I wasn't going to notice. Total crooks!! This was my first and last time going to this place. NEVER again!! Just imagine the few dollars that they've stolen from other customers that add up over time. read more

Dirty salon, we were seated in spa chairs that had not been cleaned since the last pedicures after they finally cleaned them/replaced liner, still took over an hour to get pedicures. They weren't busy, but several people came in after us and were already gone, all while our feet were turning to raisins. After asking the nail tech how much longer it would be, she lost her mind and started yelling about how it's the customers job to tell them that we've been waiting so long, because she said she didn't know... she was the one who sat us in the dirty spa chairs to begin with ‍ Our questions about her timeline really set her off because she ended up throwing the hot towel at us instead of laying it on our legs Oh and when I pointed out that she painted my cuticle, she said that was my fault for not laying my foot flat when she painted it. Anyone who's ever had a pedicure knows the tech grabs your foot and places it where she wants it so how's that my fault? So, If you like mediocre pedicures with a side of verbal assault and unprofessionalism, this is the place for you! read more

Went back for a color change on my toes, and had gel color put on my fingernails. Another great day, and it only cost me $40 for the works-that's with the addition of a paraffin dip on my hands. I love this place. read more

My best friend and I tried this place. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here! My friend wanted a pedicure, I wanted a pedi/mani a d eyebrow wax. They were not busy at all, maybe 2 other ppl in there with 5 workers. They sat my friend and I beside each other for pedicures, our water was cold and there was a dead bug floating in my water. Pedicure was fine, they never asked what kind we wanted. Afterwards, they sat us at the dryer and we waited for over 30 mins. There was one girl getting her nails done, one getting a pedicure, 3 of the workers were just standing around and kept walking past us. We got tired of waiting, paid for the pedicures and left! We spent 2 hrs there just for a pedicure! When we left my friends polish was messed up. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed somewhere else and didn't have time for a mani since I'm a mom who only had one day to have a girls day! There's a reason this place isn't busy read more

This place is disgusting. No clean implements, no clean files, no clean buffers. The nail tech actually took a brush from an open container of oil to brush on me and put back in the open container of oil. Hello fungus! Hello dust! Hello dead bugs! The polish job was terrible, and 4 days later it's a mess. I normally get 10 days out of a standard manicure. You can even see where the coats of polish don't match up and the topcoat doesn't cover the whole nail-just terrible. At checkout I watched a woman use a nail dust brush (like a big kabuki brush) to dust her polish shelves and minutes later she used it on a client. Polish choices are mostly half empty, thinned with acetone and look about 3 years old-no Wonder the polish chips. Stay away. read more

I got "dip nails" and they were so chunky and not cute at all, she kept filing my skin and making me bleed, and she overcharged me.

Never will I trust this place again! My nails looked great until I went to clean them and found out that the overlay build up was all under my nails instead of building it up on top of the nail. So when I bumped my nails they broke. Also I discovered that she had build them up underneath. When I tried to clean food out from under them I couldn't because I literally had build up most of the way back under the all nails. I went in today to ask them to fix them after all it cost me $40.00 plus a $10.00 top. The man was rude and when I asked why he would only fix the one he said I should have said something when I got them done 3 days before. Sadly we all know many of times they look okay until you really see what a lousy job they did after you get home and in better lighting. He proceeded to try and trim up the under mess she made and dug so deep he dug out my natural nails and left my fingers raw. After a few nails I yanked my brusied/raw fingers away and left before I was all bloody. 30 minutes later my fingers under my nails still burn. read more
