My sister and I went to get pedicures this afternoon and it was a mixed experience. My sister had a great pedicure. The nail tech did a nice and thorough job all around. Her nails looked wonderful at the end. My experience was the exact opposite. My nail tech did not push my cuticles back, remove my cuticles or calluses, and got nail polish all over my cuticles. She seemed to put minimal effort into my pedicure and I found myself quite disappointed from start to finish. I think the quality of this salon is dependent on the tech providing the service. read more

I have been going here for years and have very seldom been disappointed with the service. The staff is great and very friendly.

I went to this nail business today. I was very quiet and patient with service provider. I told them I want a basic manicure pedicure. They started immediately on my feet in the chair, I reiterated the that I want a basic manicure. The man began to speak in a broken English Asian accent slightly aggressive. I frowned a little and just stayed quiet. We moved to the manicure portion of my service. I decided that I would try dip powder. I notice him going threw the motions of a manicure, but my hands never went into the typical bowl of water to soften my nail cuticle. He quickly moved into preparing my nails for dipping powder. While putting on the nail powder he turned over my hands and the nails hit the table scuffing them. I told him my nails are touching the table. He proceeded to speak in a aggressive manner and said, "You crazy, I've been doing nails for 15 years." He continued to fuss in his native tongue while doing my nails. I'm shocked because I've been called crazy. I remained quiet. Until his rhetoric began to tense me up leading to pain radiating through my body- I have fibromyalgia-. This is when I spoke and told him to hurry up you making me sick and I need to take my medication. I excused my self to take medication, upon returning he apologizes and continues to finish up my nails. After finishing the nails he wants to begin to massage my hands and arms. I was so done with the way this spa allowed this conduct to continue and none asked him to stop. I paid what was owed and left an I will never return again. I was thinking about the reason why I decided to go get a manicure/ pedicure. To relax and take the load off. This man ruined that for me with his behavior. That is unfair, they open their business' to offer a service where they get so close and in your space where they suppose to deliver a positive experience. They speak negative vile things in our face using their native tongue. I do not care what language you speak I know when someone is fussing and bantering on. Those vibes affect that person while you are sharing their space. So a word to them, the energy you put out there come back...that's call karma. I hate giving bad reviews, but this place is a state board nightmare. They use mma and drill your nails into nothing. I got my nails done, and one completely ripped off and my real nail ripped off, as well as a giant chunk of my actual pinky. I got a pedicure and they used a razor on my foot. Also, price gouging here is ridiculous. I got charged almost $200 for a set after telling her I had $100 max to spend. read more

Came in for a pedicure after the place down the street was booked and had a wait. Got right in, they seemed friendly enough! And I'm not usually too picky. Got the same pedicure type my friend did (the #2) ... I was done in 15 minutes... It was apparent the other lady was doing more for her. I truly feel like i could have painted my nails at home. Went today for a basic pedicure and added the pedi scrub. I was checked in and seen quickly upon my arrival (I had called ahead first though), Erica who took care of me was very professional and thorough during my pedi. I am not from this area and didn't have time to get a pedicure or brow wax before I left DC to come to visit my in-laws. So I decided to give this place a try. It was just okay. I got the "deluxe" pedicure and there really wasn't anything deluxe about it. The pedicure was rushed through and done in less than 20 minutes! It was kinda strange also that they do the parafin wax at the end of the pedicure after your nails dry. I also got a brow wax. It was okay. The lady took me to a back room that felt yucky. She had me lay down in a chair that was partially taped up with duct tape to do my brows. My eyebrows came out okay. There really was not much of a spa feel to it. I would probably nor return to this nail spa when I am in town visiting! Regular pedicures are $22 the deluxe is $27. The eyebrow wax was $10. Also bring your own magazine. Their magazine pile were a little dated and looking a little tattered with ripped pages laying in the stack of magazines. read more

Came in with a knee brace for a pedicure. They took wonderful care of me, helping me in the chair and making sure I was comfortable.

I treated myself to pedicure and well what I got was a disaster ! I got about a 7min pedicure my feet were in the water for a few , she took them out barely scrubbed them , then threw on some nail polish . I left with the same rough heals I went in with . I don't recommend going here. I asked for the pink and white full set. And they acted like they didn't know what that was. They tried to get me to get a different style of nail and I told her that's not what I wanted. I don't see why it's so difficult to let the customer pick the shape and color of their nail. Then I could tell they were talking about me. There were about 5 women workers in there and I was the only customer. In hind sight I see why. I'm never going to this place again. read more

Made appointment for 2p, sat down at 230p, 15 minute manicure, didn't see any effort to sanitize tools, tipped 20% anyway, no "thank you."

What I wanted (white) vs what I got- minus the color. Everyone was super nice and the building was clean. I noticed they didn't really clean the tools and my lady just took a nail brush from another bottle and wiped it with a paper towel. I asked 3 times for my nails to be cut and she only snipped the very tip each time so I just left it. Also, I initially wanted all of my fingers with the design (glad I didn't do that) and she said she couldn't do that and she could only do one on each hand. When she got to painting she only left one nail alone for the design and painted my whole other hand. I told her it was fine and she could just paint the other nail but then she completely wiped my hand and re started. I think she was trying to help but not sure. Anyway, I could've done a better job myself and if the flame was too hard she should've just said so. Not worth the $60, save your money and go somewhere where they actually know what they're doing. read more

This is the place I regularly go and I love it! A couple years ago I tried out the new AQ nail spa because it seemed really new and nice but my mom and I both getting nail fungus from it. At nail spa, we never have that problem. I wouldn't recommend getting it from the guy because he has cut my mom's nails too short before which was painful. We LOVE Tina and Lisa. This is not my usual spot but I came here because I needed to get my nails done in a hurry. I immediately regretted it after I asked for a coffin shape nail and the nail tech didn't cut the nail before putting the acrylic on. Not only did every nail turn out uneven and misshapen but they charged extra for everything. I understand that a coffin shape usually costs more but when they're not shaped right and then to charge extra for a Matte top coat after I already paid seems ridiculous. I went to this nail salon today. I got the deluxe pedicure for $27.00. After they painted my nails they put me in me front of a fan and left me there for over 30 minutes. I was supposed to get a paraffin wax included in the cost of the pedicure. I do not have time to wait that long for the paraffin wax. I walked out (of course after paying) and I'll never ever go back to that salon again. I felt ignored and I also felt that after the salon ran my get credit card they did not care anymore about me as a customer. I will definitely be looking for a new nail salon. read more

I live in O'Fallon and have tried just about all of the nail salons in the O'Fallon/Shiloh/FVH area, and I keep coming back to this one. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and they do a great job with my nails. Hands down my favorite nail salon in the area. read more
