From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in expert hands. The atmosphere of the spa was serene and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. Ebony was not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely attentive to my skin's specific needs. She walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The facial itself was nothing short of exceptional. From the deep cleansing and extractions to the expertly applied mask and soothing massage--everything was done with precision and care. My skin felt instantly rejuvenated, hydrated, and visibly more radiant. Now it is the next day, and it's even better! What impressed me most was Ebony's personalized approach; she really got to know both me and my skin, and thoughtfully selected products and techniques tailored to my skin type and concerns. The technician was very thorough, and she did the treatment in literally 5 minutes. I was so pleasantly surprised! After two treatments I no longer see shadows under my arms. I still get hair growing in, but it's fine and light. After 7 treatments for my underarms, I still get hair growing in. I only have to shave about once a week though, and there are no dark shadows. It's more like peach fuzz. I am 4 treatments into my lower legs, and I hardly have ANY hair growing back!

They have four chairs where some services are performed and a couple of folding chairs as the waiting area right behind it. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment (because I suck at estimating travel times) and the waxer wasn't in yet so I had to wait until my appointment time so make sure to come at your scheduled time! While I was waiting the salon owner had a very nice conversation with me about the business and about herself. I really enjoy when business owners are friendly and strike up conversation. When the waxer came I was taken into the private back room for my wax. They used chocolate wax, yes chocolate, for my wax!!! The waxer has over 20 years experience and she has many other salons in NYC and the BX. They take the wax and put it into a little condiment looking cup and onto a different warmer so there is NEVER DOUBLE DIPPING. She also used a cloth paper thing to rip off the wax rather than using her hand to pull off the wax- something I've never experienced but I think it was less painful that way. She was very detailed and made sure to get every single hair while keeping me comfortable 100% of the time. Finally, it is already aggravating that they open so late, at 10 AM, but even worse, they are usually not open at 10 AM, they are pulling up in their van at 10:05, sometimes 10:10 and you have to wait outside until they get there. They also have to set up, so realistically you're not starting until at least 10:15 at times. Lots of women end up waiting outside or in their car until they arrive. There are a lot of people that would really like to get some service at 9, or 9:30, and to open at 10, AND late is a no-go. Will be finding another place to start going for my nails these days.
