The BEST pedicures and service! I started going here when I first moved to Atlanta in early 2020…read more The experience, each time I go, is just wonderful. I have brought my daughters here with me, and we have always had a good outcome and a luxuriously relaxing pedicure. It doesn't matter which person works on you- they all do a great job, are attentive and courteous. The owner is friendly and makes sure the atmosphere of the place is peaceful for clients. I have had the manicure service as well, and it was excellent- but I only do regular classic polish (so can't comment on gels, etc). I had to go back to Ohio for a period of time and tried going to my old salon. While it was the best I had gone to there, it could not hold a candle to Top Nails! I realized what a special service they provide. No bored, half-hearted work there! Only caring, efficient, and excellent work. I've been meaning to write a review for awhile- sorry for the book size post, but they are just that good and I have been so happy to have found them. I am almost always a walk-in, but never had difficulty getting a seat and great service.

You get a discount for paying cash (or maybe now you get charged to pay with a credit card - it keeps changing), but either way - it's a good place to use your cash if you have some you need to get rid of. It's chic inside and certainly passes the vibe check. One thing I LOVE - though I haven't been doing manis much lately - they will do it at the pedicure chair while you're getting your feet done so it takes half the time! It's definitely the way to go. I hate spending more time than I need to at the nail salon so I was really happy to see it. Sometimes I get much better service than other times, but I like it enough I still return. About 50% of the time I've been offered a beverage. I wish it were closer to 100% of the time - even when I'm spending $90+ on a pedicure. I know I probably could have just asked but it was odd to see the people around me being offered and not me. The pedicures are normally phenomenal. I've had some outliers, but again - everyone is human. It really is a lovely space!

My husband and I visited Prime Nail Lounge on a Friday afternoon. There was a small wait, which was…read morefine, since we didn't have an appointment. The ambiance was nice and they offered a wide variety of polishes. We both needed manicures. While we waited, we were offered complimentary beverages by the owner, I believe. This was a nice touch! Anita serviced my husband. She arrived first. She gave him an armrest, along with warm water to soak his nails. My nail technician was Mia. Her quality of service was not the same. I did not receive an armrest nor a greeting, and my water was cold. She wasn't the friendliest either. I could tell the level of attention and detail that Anita provided for my husband was totally different from what I was receiving. However, my husband wished the buff on his nails was a bit brighter. It was dull and didn't really show a major difference. We also did not get a chance to select our manicure preference, as we were told the nail technicians would provide this information to us. Since it was a Friday and we were walk-ins, we plan to try them again on a different day and make reservations to see if the service will be better.

This was honestly some of the best service I've ever received. The staff were very attentive, and…read morethe overall customer service was excellent. The massage and pedicure were amazing, and I was very happy with the quality of the work. I chose short, coffin-shaped French tip nails, and I loved how they turned out. Before starting, I was informed that the extra nail on my big toe would be an additional $10, which I understood and agreed to. However, when it came time to pay, my bill was about $50 higher than expected. I was then told there was an extra $10 charge for the coffin shape, even though I had been told beforehand there was no additional charge for that. I was also charged $10 for length, despite my nails being short, and another $10 for the French tip, even though the package I selected already included French tips. When I questioned the charges, it seemed there was some confusion among the staff. Instead of correcting what appeared to be an error, the charges were explained in a way that still didn't fully account for the total. I left feeling unclear about where the additional costs came from. Unfortunately, that experience lost me as a customer. It was disappointing because I had just moved to the area and was hoping this would become my regular nail salon. Paying $120 for basic short French tip nails, with so many unexpected extra charges, did not feel transparent or professional. Out of respect for their business, I didn't make a scene in the store and still left a tip. However, I do hope they improve their pricing transparency so future customers know exactly what to expect.

I paid for a fill and upgraded pedicure with gel. The tech didn't do the style of polish I asked for and charged extra like it was custom ombre when she did nothing special whatsoever. My nails looked ok, though, and the tips lasted til my next fill. If I always wore acrylics I'd probably have given a better review because I'd never know how badly they damaged my nails. It's a good thing they looked good because my natural nails were destroyed after. There are deep ridges down my nail bed that are almost finally grown out but there has been a lot of damage. None of my other fills did this much damage. The upgraded pedicure with massage would've been lovely, but I found it borderline creepy how the tech kept asking me "does it feel good." I could not relax when she was staring at me and asking me questions.

The service I received was amazing and that's what kept me coming back. But ever since then, the service and quality has immensely declined. I just left the salon and will never be returning. I should've left when I first sat down as the nail tech turned her gloves inside out and began to do my nails. I thought that maybe she just liked her gloves on the other way but as I looked, I noticed red polish on the gloves. At this appointment I decided to get my SNS removed and a gel manicure after. Instead of soaking them off, she took a tip and began popping my nails off. I thought that it was because one of my thumbs had a tip on it but no, she continued and popped off my index fingers' entire growth. After that, I stopped her and requested for them to be soaked. At that point, the thumb nail that had grown out was no longer there and neither was my index fingernail, so I decided to finish out the appointment with no gel polish and just a clear coat with cuticle clean up. Please do yourself a favor and find another salon to go to. * Prior to my appointment, I had about a centimeter of nail growth past the tip of each finger. The length of my index fingernail in this picture is what was left after she popped the SNS off. *

However, I chose to go a different salon, as getting cut while getting my nails professional done is a huge deal-breaker for me.. Cut to years later, a couple of my friends were raving to me about their nail lady Theresa who happened to run this salon.. Yesterday, I could not drive all the way to Buckhead to get my nails done, I decided to give TNails another chance.. The older tech who did my pedi was sweet and courteous. The mani one; a young girl.. I noticed she was applying way too much nail polish on the nails that she cut way short.. globs of polish.. as I moved my hand, one nail touched my other hand while switching hands for her. She gave me this look fit for a 5-year-old who was seriously misbehaving. I said, "sorry".. again, she glares at me, and proceeds to try to fix it without just redoing it.. I asked to redo it. She kept telling me,"you needed it up".. In the midst of this, I notice my pinky had a little nick, which I pointed out. She FLIPPED! I asked her not to do my nails and to just stop. She kept mouthing off, walked off, got herself a tangerine and proceeded to peel it and eat it at the work station right across from me. The older lady that did my pedi, came over and kept apologizing for her and insisted on doing my nails. There were two other patrons at salon, they were both horrified at what just went down. Too much for some pampering and "me-timing".. I did not get the advertised 10% discount on all services.. I did not get to unwind. Paid in full and I did tip 20% and left aggravated!!!
