The lady in charge seemed quite dismissive and not very customer-friendly. I called ahead for a Saturday morning mani/pedi. My last nail salon experience in the area did not go well. That's a different review though. I was skeptical but anytime I'd gotten an appointment at Nail Envy I was always appreciative at the attention to detail, they were all very kind and I was not rushed. I was happy to pay for my services and leave a large tip. It was quiet minus the sound of some relaxing spa music and the occasional sound of a nail drill. The place is always very clean and this time was no different. My technician Ann was kind, she did not rush and I made sure to book another appointment in 2 weeks with her. I want to start off by saying I was completely thrilled with Nail Envy and Khai in particular for months. He did a fantastic job. Until one day (shortly before one of their many vacation closings) he seemed rushed and was trying to do my nails and someone else's at the same time. He cut my nails way too short (he had always been great about maintaince trims before), he made them very thick when he had never done that before. And he took my almond shapes and made them round. They were also very messy, one hand's nails were longer (very noticeable) then the other. They refused to refund me (I should never have paid but I was upset and in shock, I also stupidly tipped) and they refused to give me a new set. The lady on Facebook messenger kept saying you don't need a new set I give you new shape. They argued with me and never offered a suitable resolution. Unfortunately, because of the customer service I will never go back. I understand mistakes happen, but as a loyal customer (every 2 weeks) I expected better treatment. I also tip $10 on a fill with no nail art ($30 service), because I liked to be treated well. It's just saddens me because I had previously enjoyed Nail Envy and Khai. read more

A friend of mine and I went today and Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this place. We both got pedicures and one of us had to tell the employee to remove the polish because it was all over her skin! And I can tell you the employee had no personality and a bad attitude. The polish was a light yellow and they only placed 2 coats so you could see right through it. When asked for another coat she globbed it on and Ofcourse then smudged shortly after leaving because it would have take 5 hours for that to dry! In addition when they filed our nails they were crooked which drives me crazy....they are all slanted. Would not ever go back. read more

My wife persuaded me to go for my first pedi years ago and I'm glad she did. It's become harder than before to maintain decent grooming of my toenails, and now they're no longer gross to look at. We go together once every other month, she for a min/pedi, me for a pedi only. Highly recommend. Khai and Jocelyn run a beautiful, clean and well-equipped shop. They and their staff are friendly and good at what they do. While I don't see many male customers during our weekday visits, the female customers frequently remark that they wish their husbands would get some work done-- probably stemming from what " real men" should or shouldn't do in pre-21st-century male culture. Been a few times.. my experience in these places is that once you have become a customer complacency starts to set in. First...They do a great job while finding fault with where you had them done before. Yet they have plenty of there own issues to work on. Example....Last month I could not have a pedicure because I was late even though I called. Understandable...This time time (like many others) I had gone in with an appointment and again and like other times I SAT for almost a half hour which was the same amount of time my tardiness the month before. Got a pedicure/fill. The tech used glue to seal my acrylic. I asked if my nails were fine. I was sent out the door with a tube of hand cream. Thought it was a Christmas gift. Fat chance!! I got home and my nails all but two were separated from the acrylics. They were old. I knew this. The manager stated (after I explained that she thought so and this might be) even when I let her know that night immediately. It was December 19th a few days before Christmas. She offered to correct it but I work during the week. It was Sunday evening. Thus why I got my nails done then. I explained this. I asked if she would do them for a reduce rate the next time I go in as I couldn't get in due to the holiday. She never answered my text. It was 12/30 and me reaching out now to her almost two weeks later that the owner responded just to give excuses as well as a twisted story that I should of come back. I've had my nails done for 20 years and I know. The owner ignored me for almost two weeks until I spoke up, again..and then tried to twist the story. What they don't seem to recollect is that while they insist on texting to communicate you the customer have everything in writing. They were not honoring anything. Essentially these places are building a bad reputation on many levels. In a wide area. A big business and many are use to (customers) there nails done in these places that they, these places forget the customer. Hopefully the message will start to set in... like cement. I hear from a wide area that many are unhappy with unsatisfactory and less then customer service. read more

The service here was horrible. I asked for a pedicure and he started to do a color change. I asked him about the pedicure and he got attitude. When it came time to do my nails the latex was sticking to the nail. And pieces of the latex were left on three of my nails. I also told him about that and he said he took them out but he didn't. There was hair on my nails and bubbles that I told him about. He told me that the white nail polish is the hardest to work with. I have got white polish before and have never had that issue. I got the gel polish and it's been two days and three nails have already broken off. One of them broke while opening my glove department. Overall I would not recommend this place. We were on a mini getaway and I wanted my nails done because I graduated as a BHP. So this was a gift. $80 just wasted. It's only been two days. And my toes are not completely painted. You can still see parts of the toes. This is so unprofessional. And if a customer is paying they should get the best service. I didn't cause a problem other than questioning the latex left on my nails and the hair. And the fact that I could still see my nail. I didn't want to be labeled as the angry black girl.
