I decided to stick with Katy because she knows how to do the poly gel technique. Poly gel combines the durability of acrylic with the flexibility of gel. I keep my nails short and natural, and apparently they're the only ones in South Florida who don't make me explain myself 47 times about how I like them filed. Today I had Yisel for my nails and Kevin for my toes, and 10/10. Quick, easy, no stress, and everything came out exactly how I pictured it in my head. She listened, didn't overdo it, didn't freestyle something I didn't ask for -- just gave me exactly what I wanted. I did the mani/pedi in a box which is a lovely soak, sugar scrub, and mask for your hands and feet. It comes in about 7 different scents and were absolutely divine. Catie provides a 1-1 service for nails. Any clients waiting have to wait outside so you don't feel rushed and can have a private conversation with her. It is very relaxing and doesn't smell like a nail salon. It was a longer process then I'm used to because I've never had nail art done but it was totally worth it. The products she used were high-end and my nails feel strong. I'm confident I won't ruin these after a day like I normally do when I go to a typical salon. I would recommend you book in advance! I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get in from when I originally asked. I'm already booking my next appointments so I can get on a regular schedule. The price is definitely worth the quality and experience you get. The price was very reasonably to me compared to almost all high-end salons I've been to. I'm attaching pictures and you tell me if you would be happy with this. 3 fingers were bleeding (I was told I had thin skin) very rarely has this happened in the past and certainly not 3 fingers. It could have something to do with the fact that my manicure was done at the pedicure chair. Rush job. The polish is very sloppy-streaks, bubbles,etc. I guess the manicure with the special does not include lotion/oil either. I was told I should've asked for it. Everyone was very nice, but I'm so disappointed. I will not be back.
