Before coming, I had already shaped my nails to look the way I wanted (almond shape) and then did a simple design on just the ring nails. I understand that cost of goods are increasing so prices have increased but they wanted to charge me for my nail shape because since I got builder gel, they have to reshape them after and the almond shape costs extra. I was able to dispute the charge but I just don't understand why filing my nails is not part of the cost of the job. They're usually pretty nice and the space is clean.

I get there and when it comes to pay they tell me it is $70 if I pay through zelle because I got french tip. When I mentioned I was told $58, the lady told me that the guy didn't know I wanted french tip but if you're running a business you should also make it known you charge extra between one color versus french tip. Obviously less product is used so why in the world would I have to pay an EXTRA $12 for it ???? A private nail doesn't even charge extra for french tip. HIGHLY unsatisfied and the work they did wasn't even worth $70. To top it off, they started talking to each other and I was getting weird looks after.. says a lot about the people working there.

I went there to get my nails done with gel nails on a Thursday and by Saturday they would be coming…read moreoff. Went back to the shop on Monday they were closed. On Tuesday I returned to the shop end was angrily met with disdain. He grudgingly fixed it with a rush job and they still came off on my right hand only. He, Randy, the shop owner yelled and said my nails are oily that is why the gel nails that is supposed to last are not lasting. Really, I washed my hands and they alcohol my nails to dry them. Sad place. Always empty. Now I know why!!!!!

I always enjoy a nice mani before a special event. Usually they clean and trim your nails and all that wonderful stuff.. the thing that bugs me the most..is the fact they trim a little too much off the cuticles!! ughh.. I hate it..and that crap burns!! I usually get the same lady and tell her to take it easy but the communication this is a hassle. But hey at the end your nails look decent yet with a few burns here and there. The prices here isnt bad either just really average in my opinion. $10 for mani.. 25 for a set.. 30-35 for the solar.. waxing is like 7.. pedis are 15..and so on..so its pretty average.

If you are looking for quality skin care and a personal experience you really need to go to Beloved Beauty Studio and have Judy Critz fix you! She's got a heated bed which is heaven and she also offers amazing massages. I haven't been paid by any member of Beloved Beauty Studio or even asked to review, I just know the struggle of going to overpriced salons and walk out feeling like all they did was wash your face and try to sell their products. The atmosphere here is so welcoming! I live in downtown Dallas and will drive to Terrell every time for her services.
