We were in Goldsboro for business. I had the brillian idea to go to Nahunta for some products. On the way to the store we passed the grill. After we shopped at the store we asked one of the ladies at check out about the grill. She said it was really good. She gave us a menu to look at also. When we arrived at the grill we noticed that the special for Friday was fish and shrimp plates. Sadly they said they were out. As I prepar4ed to order something else, one of the ladies told us that they could get more fish, but we would have to wait 20 minutes. We gladly agreed and sat down to chit chat.
The food was really, really good. Not too much breading, the seasoning mix was delicious and the crinkle fries were on point. Thank you Joshua, he was identified as the cook that day. We made him blush.
The atmospher was quaint and reminicent of those old school stores from the late 70's where there was ice cream for sale, hot dogs, 'drinks', potato chips and little things for sale at the counter.
We loved it. read more
