I hit up this spot on a whim while my husband ailed from too much fun the night before at a wedding nearby. I swung in for a quick order of beans and rice for him and a taco plate. I loved the little atmosphere and the quick service I received just being a walk-in with a to-go order. It's definitely authentic and you just need to be patient to work through an accurate order. The prices were super reasonable. I have suggested this as a stop to friends. Pick it up to go and have a picnic at the nearby park! Enjoy :) read more

Stopped in on a Sunday, out of guacamole and queso on the appetizer menu. Margaritas were a plus but when the food came out I had to ask for silverware and then napkins. Pretty bland food. Service was atrocious. Waitress was too busy hanging out with her boyfriend at the bar who had ordered in Chinese food. Maybe that should have been my first sign that I swiftly looked over. If they are the last restaurant open some night in rifle would be the only way I return. Margaritas are to thank for the two stars! read more

Authentic Mexican food. Came Into town and enjoyed a decent expensive meal. The prices are little high considering the current state of economy. They have a traditional Mexican market in the back of the restaurant. Ordered chicken flautas with no beans and they didn't give more rice to substitute the no beans making the meal $20 with a drink tax and tip. read more

Stopped in on our way through town. Worth the detour and good value! My taco plate was good, although I would just get the asada next time. My husband's carnitas torta was ginormous, and he said it was good. Would order again. Free chips and salsa. Both were okay, not great, but will do. Great, friendly service! read more

Not good. Chips were stale and burritos were not good. Starving and both of us could only eat half of it. They were combination burritos. Chicken was super dry. Me and my son ordered the same thing. Was hear 2 years ago and had same experience. Waste of money. read more

So glad we stopped in. I ordered an assortment of tacos and have to tell you that the Carne Asada was AMAZING!! Definitely check this place out, everything was delicious. read more

This a great authentic mexican restaurant. They dont fuss with fancy salsas, but you do get free chips and salsa. We ordered the Vampiro drink and it was big! It was very good, well balanced and a touch of salt. I ordered the chile rellenos and it was delicious. Came with red rice, refried beans, a side of salad with ranch on top, a dollop of sour cream and the fried pepper with green chile sauce on top. My hubby ordered the torta which was a huge sandwich on a bun with lettuce cheese tomatoes. He loved it. The restaurant does look a little bare when you go in, but it was surprisingly good. Give this place a try! read more

I was wowed by their huge bowl of posole and delicious homemade hot sauce. The menu and atmosphere made me feel like I was in Mexico. I'm eager to go back and try more entrees. read more

The food was very good and portions where a good size but the staff was not wearing their masks the entire time we where there. Our waiter was not very bright she got our order wrong twice but to make up for it we did get the food for a cheaper price. Great restaurant for food but the service needs work. read more

This is by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. The water even tasted bad. The service also sucked. It took FOREVER to get our food. My chile relleno tasted like it was freezer burnt. Not even sure how that happens. The horchata tasted like no horchata I've ever had, the salsa tasted like tomato sauce and the chimichanga came out wrong twice!!! The 2nd time it had a totally different meat. Oh and the green chili was just canned green chilis so if you're going for something smothered in green chili this is not the place! Needless to say we left hungry. We should've waited to eat until we got back to Denver. read more

Nachoooooooooo! This place was a pretty good Mexican food casual restaurant, Ate here on a Thursday night, service was good. Their menu is very large with many seafood items and traditional tacos, carne asada, burritos and more. There is not a lot going on in this town dining wise that I could detect. Nachos has interesting tile floors, someone is a tile enthusiast. We kind of came here because I like the movie Nacho Libre and I think Mexicans generally know how to feed people. read more

If you're looking for great authentic Mexican food this is an amazing place! The food was awesome, drinks as well! However, if you're looking for amazing service do not expect it. The waitress who helped me was attentive just not very personable. No, hi how are you. It was are you ready to order. So that is why I had to give 4 stars. read more

Nachos Mexican Dining - Amazing! - Mexican Near Me - Rifle, Colorado

Visited Nacho's on a recent RV trip to the Rifle area. Reasonably good service, good location. Just not very good food & beverages. The 'rita was boring. My GF was not impressed with her chimi (dumped the leftover when we got back to camp) and my shrimp with rice was nasty. Definitely do not recommend. read more

I love this place, my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The portions are huge and all is very tasty. I usually do the carnitas, this is a must try. Fried cubed pork served with beans, rice and tortillas. I also have had great tacos, have tried all the different types and all have been wonderful. Drink specials on Fridays is also great. I am waiting to try one of the huge stone bowl soups. Worth stopping in and giving it a try. read more

The food is really really good. The service is terrible and they screw up to go orders in a regular basis.

I love this place! Its always SUPER CLEAN and the food is delicious and authentic and consistent. Great location and I love that there is also a Mercado, carneceria and a Mexican bakery also attached to the restaurant. One of the best restaurants in Rifle by far. And the prices are reasonable as well. read more

I love that this is a small and authentic establishment, complete with telenovelas on the television. I've tried a variety of items on the menu but my favorite have to be the Tacos Al Pastor at $2.25 each. One can make a complete meal for under 10 bucks. Clean, service is fair to good and the food is always tasty. This review goes out to my boyfriend who showed me the way of Rifle Mexican food. read more

Had a delicious lunch. Ordered the breakfast burrito with shredded pork. The meal starts out with with chips and very tasty salsa. The meal had two fried eggs sitting top of the very tender shredded pork burrito along with re fried beans and fried rice. Ended the meal with an order of the fried ice cream and I'm so glad I order desert because it was the best fried ice cream! read more

Had lunch here and everything was awesome. Huge servings, everything so fresh and homemade.

The burrito and tacos were good but the rice and beans tasted like they were from a can. It was an okay meal on our road trip. I thought the service was good. The food is cooked from scratch, but drinks and chips were brought immediately so we didn't mind waiting! read more

Super good food, nice atmosphere. Great stop from Utah to Colorado if your looking for something other than fast good.

The food and restaurant is authentic, but tables and environment were dirty. Quick service- but carne asada was more than half gristle and when we let the server know that she said she had let them know that before and that it happening a lot, but could not fix it. Better off trying a different place read more

I'm not sure what passes as "Authentic Mexican" food in this area, but from my experience, it was average American-Mex at best. The restaurant was clean and the service was OK - up to the point that the food arrived. We ordered the Bracerros de Carnes for two. A single order would suffice for two people. The food was swimming in grease and the flavors were uninspired. It took far too long to get a box, a check, and pay the bill (30 minutes). We had to request service at each of these steps. Oversized portions don't make up for amateur techniques, average ingredients, and poor service. Clearly they were understaffed, and in a small town that is forgivable. But don't let the hype about authenticity in the other reviews fool you into expecting anything more than average American-Mex. If you're wanting hand made masa tortillas, multilayered moles, and mesquite grilled meats, this ain't the place. read more

The tacos were good, salsa was average. My biggest complaint is the strawberry margarita was so thick and sweet I couldn't drink it, I also couldn't taste any tequila. read more

Excellent food - good service - great margaritas with a little grocery in the back - You won't be disappointed if you know what true mexican food should be - this is not your "chain" "run of the mill" mexican restaurant - very friendly staff as well - The menus are in spanish with english just below the dish names - :o) read more

Don't even waste your time! The employees are rude and sketchy. The service is terrible and I'm not even sure these people obtain green cards. They also steal customer belongings. (Yes, this happened to me). Someone really needs to investigate this place and the people running it! read more

WTF?? DO NOT GO HERE.ALL REVIEWS ARE MADE BY EMPLOYEES.First of the all the restaurant is impossible to find and when you do find it, it's connected a liquor store. You get into the restaurant and there is extremely harsh lighting in which you're asked to seat yourself. They bring salsa which probably consists of siriacha and tomato sauce. The food was then brought to our table which was the worst part of the entire experience. The chicken tasted like canned chicken and steak was tough and grissley. Ended up spending 32 dollars. Definitely wasn't worth that. read more

The food is awesome but the service isn't all that great, just make sure to order exactly what you want they tend to mess up the order...

The service was unbelievably slow, we waited 50 minutes for our food. The waitstaff was not at all friendly and the food was quite possibly the worst Mexican food I've ever had. read more
