Let me start by saying I wasn't expecting authentic Mexican food at all but a lot of things sounded good on the menu and looked good online but the taste just gave hospital, resort, cruise ship food to me. This was a great place for typical Mexican food! I selected this place for dinner because of the vegan menu and food. I ordered the supreme tostada nachos, which were wonderful and my friends ordered the chicken quesadilla, daddy burrito and nachos. The name Nacho Daddy will grab your attention, the food will draw you in! I really enjoyed that the restaurant has huge open doors to open the outside while being able to eat inside still. We came on a nice evening so it was refreshing. The place is loud, but it's the vibe to be expected. We were sat right away and from the start, all the waiters/waitresses were very nice and helpful. Everyone has a great personality here. While we looked I've the menu, we ended up ordering the trio dip. That wasn't such a great idea if you plan to order nachos, but oh well. It was still all good! The only issue we had is that we ordered a mild and medium salsa and they both tasted like mild. So, I'm not sure if they were the same by mistake or the medium was just disappointing. I had so much fun here! My family was visiting from out of town and Nacho Daddy provided great food but also a great "experience". We were able to park on the street in front of the building for free, but if those spots are filled there are 2 gravel pay lots right across the street. As far as the experience, they did things like light a candle under our queso to keep it cold, the table next to us had an entree come out and be lit on fire, and the nachos were specialty flavors piled HIGH. My mom, sister and I shared an appetizer, 2 plates of nachos and drinks (2 alcoholic) for a tab of $134. It was a fun atmosphere where you can bring a big group to laugh and be loud. Our waiter was also very friendly but the service wasn't the best. Mainly because they seemed a little understaffed and our waiter seemed overwhelmed. Went there for cinco de mayo and expected a wait. Go to the restaurant at 730 and stood in line to speak with the hostess till 750. At 750 I checked the open table app to see if I should just make a reservation. They had an opening at 8 so I made the reservation. I got to the hostess desk at 8 and advised her I had a reservation for two at 8. The hostess rolled her eyes and had a terrible attitude. She asked if I wanted to sit at the bar and I said no I'd like a table. She told me it would be 45 min so we said okay and waited. The whole time she was at the hostess table she was cursing about her coworkers and how much she hated it here and was extremely rude to the guests. At 810 the manager came out and was able to find us a table. I should add I counted 5 open tables in the restaurant while waiting. We got to our table and sat there till 840 and no one came to check on us get our order nothing. So we got up and left. I would not recommend this place it was dirty and the service was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Take your money somewhere that will provide service. read more

To say my experience here was capital T Terrible would be a generosity. To preface this, I was in the service industry for 15 years, yet I was so blown away by how abhorrent every working mechanism in this restaurant operated, it took me a week to collect my thoughts and convey them in this review. Let me start from the beginning. I arrive with my husband and 17 year old daughter, we typically don't go out in midtown but we were in the area and decided to give it a shot, to absolutely no avail. It took 20 minutes for us to get sat, despite upwards of 10 tables being very clearly clean and open, and nobody ahead of us in the queue. I witnessed 3 employees standing at the service well, completely avoiding eye contact with my husband and I. Whatever. I've been there. Then came margarita-gate. I ordered one for myself and another for my husband, those of which we received while more than halfway through our shared serving of a fool's excuse for nachos. Still wasn't enough to shake me. Again, I understand. What sent me over the edge was, who I believe to be, the general manager and the way he handled the situation when kindly asked to approach my table. I have never experienced such arrogance in all 45 years of life. I'm also positive that he was having a glance down my daughter's shirt every chance he got. Just a sleazeball. Will not be returning. Comically terrible restaurant. Those who enjoy this place can continue to wallow in their white appropriation of Mexican culture, but everyone I know has heard and will be hearing of this experience. 0/10. read more

Great place around music row to get some nachos. The portions are large to share with people. David was a great server. Very friendly to us and helpful. Lots of different choices to choose from so you can't go wrong. The fajita was great. Got the combo of the chicken and beef. The meat was flavorful and tender. They even have a little show with flame when they bring the plate to the table. The nachos were tasty. Some use regular chips while some use house made chips. The meat on the nachos was perfect. Not too heavy and paired well with the cheese and toppings. We got fried ice cream and apple for dessert on a flaming plate for show and it was delicious. Interesting to get fried ice cream but it wasn't bad. Love the warm apples with the ice cream though.
