When I arrived there was no coin counting machine. They apologized and said they didn't have one. When I explained croydon had sent me there. They apologized again and said they would sort and bag it for me.it took the girl a while to do this but I really appreciated her effort and the customer service I received. They made my afternoon. Had to mention this Commonwealth Bank because I've never been helped so quickly and friendly in a…read morebank before. I had so many stresses on a day where I needed to get my new house settled and required bank cheques and had to work out money for Bond's etc. The girl was so helpful and actually calmed me down and sorted everything out for me. I am very grateful and hope that all their customers get as much care as I did.

On a recent trip to Melbourne I came to this branch to check my accounts. It was a bit of a wait (weekday lunchtime) but I was assisted by a lovely women who took me through my accounts, refunded some money that was owing, and taught me about the concept of ANZ rewards. Staff were helpful, friendly and I left feeling happy with my accounts (I live in the UK now so it kind of just sits there). I've not had any dramas with my bank over the years and this particular branch was very helpful.

They're baaaaack! My…read morefirst in-person banking experience in over 10 years...I was frightened, but the Smith Street office made it such a personal, friendly, and easy experience. Aveen Mitra really stands out for the service he provides, and remembers you when you come back in. This must be what banks were like when my parents were my age, you know in the 'good old days'. Banks all do the same thing, yeah, but the way they do it is what makes some stand out. Bank of Melbourne is back, and doing it right.

I really like Jetts, I like the concept of being able to go into any Jetts and have a work out. I…read morelike that they have some really nice equipment and fresh buildings/fit outs. There's something about this Jetts that I can't quite put my finger on. I suspect this one has formed out of an old takeaway building, as I'm pretty sure there's a drive through drive way in place. This Jetts I find the equipment to be a little older and not as shiny as other ones, but I won't deduct for that. The broken sign seems to hang around for a bit longer on the equipment than I like, but I don't know the back story. They do have heaps of storage which is a winner for me. Given I've just moved and I'm hanging till a Jetts closer to home opens it will do for the moment. And I get the garlic hit of the pizza shop when I leave. Don't go to the gym when hungry, those smells will get you and torture you to no end.

The best thing about this branch is that they have a coin counter! I brought a whole bag of coins (dead money) in an swapped it for spanking new bank notes that I can spend on other things!

For some reason this branch finds it acceptable to run a skeleton staff of 2 transactional counters…read moreand a foreign counter of 2 staff in one booth. Considering the proximity to the mall I find a 20 minute wait for a simple transaction unacceptable. Sadly I couldn't avoid going into this branch. They need to lift their game to improve their service. Once I did get served - smooth sailing. Do something about the wait times.
