This is my go to spot for Indian food in the area. I ordered the tikka masala and butter chicken. I was surprised that they made it fresh and it definitely tasted good. For the price it's not bad at all and they give a good amount of food with good flavor. The garlic naan was also good. If you're craving an Indian food, I definitely would give them a try. read more

Naan Cafe - Double Chicken Tikka Masala w/ rice - Desserts Near Me - Fontana, California

I've ordered from Naan Cafe several times before, and until today, I've never had an issue. I usually order the vegan Pilau rice, and it's always been one of my favorite dishes. This time was completely different. After a few bites, I tasted something so unpleasant that I immediately gagged and had to spit it out. The flavor was extremely strong and unpleasant... honestly, it reminded me of sweaty armpits. It was so bad that I couldn't continue eating it, and the entire container went to waste. Before leaving this review, I called the restaurant because I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. At first, I was told they had a new chef. Then I was told it tasted different because it was vegan. When I asked if he was saying the food tasted bad because it was vegan, he initially agreed before quickly backtracking and saying that's not what he meant. He then explained that it tasted different because they had a new chef and were using different ingredients and seasonings. I explained that I've ordered the vegan version multiple times before, so I know how it's was supposed to taste. In fact, this was my fourth time ordering it. The third time I ordered it, the rice had almost no flavor at all... it was basically plain white rice with the vegetables, nuts, and no seasoning. I let that experience go and decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this fourth order went in the complete opposite direction. Instead of being under-seasoned, the rice had such an unpleasant taste that I couldn't eat it. This wasn't just "different"... something was clearly off. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the food. No one offered to replace the dish, refund it, or even seemed concerned. I mostly received silence and was told they didn't know what to do. When I said I'd have to leave a review since nothing was being done, the response was simply, "Okay." I'm disappointed because I've supported this restaurant several times and expected much better. Every other item I ordered was good, but the rice was inedible, and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse. If you're a regular customer, especially if you order the vegan options, just be aware that the quality may not be as consistent as it used to be. With the restaurant mentioning they have a new chef, you never know who will be preparing your food or how it's going to taste. Hopefully your experience is better than mine, because I ended up with what I can only describe as "funky armpit" rice. I genuinely tried to resolve this directly with the restaurant before posting this review, but unfortunately, they gave me no reason to feel confident about ordering from them again. read more

Ordered food from here twice to go. Had the bone-in goat curry and lamb korma. They were good, but the second time around the goat curry didn't have as much meat which was disappointing. The samosas were one of the best I've had. read more

Hands down, the best Indian restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. If you are craving Indian food in the inland empire, this is your place to go.

My husband and I came here for lunch for the first time yesterday. It's a fast and casual atmosphere and a place where you can get food quickly to go. There's also plenty of seating inside if you want to eat in. You can order food that they prepare per order as well. My husband got a 3 item combo ($15.99 super combo) with tikka masala, saag paneer and goat curry. The combos come with naan, rice and yogurt. The combo prices are reasonable and start at $11.49. We also ordered additional items including the tandoori chicken, butter chicken and biryani to take home for dinner. Customer service was excellent and the man helping us was so nice. read more

I absolutely love Naan Cafe. It's honestly the only fast food place that serves Indian food, and they do it so well. I'm a huge fan of the mango lassi which so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The chicken Marsala is full of flavor, and the tandoori chicken is perfectly cooked with that smoky taste that's just irresistible. What's also great is that their combos come with a drink, so you get a great deal. The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly. It's the perfect spot when you're craving Indian food but don't want to sit down at a fancy restaurant. Definitely coming back to try more dishes. read more

LOVE their food, great price not over expensive, people are very nice and food is very fresh. This is my go to place for Indian Food.

Excellent food at an incredible value. Been to a lot of Indian restaurants and this is my only go to

Absolutely amazing customer service and delicious food. We truly found our new spot. What stood out most was the kindness of the staff, they made sure someone was able to have a meal even when they didn't have the money. That level of compassion says so much about the kind of business this is. Great food is one thing, but great people make all the difference. You can feel that they genuinely care about their customers and community. In a world where kindness can feel rare, this was refreshing to see. If you're looking for a place with flavorful food, welcoming service, and people with big hearts, this is it. We'll definitely be back and are happy to support a business that leads with generosity and humanity. read more

nice envorument very nice people very peaceful after school study eat place very kind people and very good food 100/10

Great portions for the price. Got the tandoori chicken. and tikki chicken masala 2 item combo. Tandoori chicken - this is bone in. Very tender and lots of meat. Slightly dry. Spices are a bit lacking. Tikki chicken masala - delicious. They give a lot of chicken. Other places provide more sauce than chicken, so this is a plus. Basmati rice - too dry and brittle. The meal would have been excellent if the rice was better. Naan - usually other places give very small pieces, but I was shocked to receive 4 big pieces per combo. This is more like it. Goes great with the sauce. I tried both plain and garlic. Both were good - the garlic one wasn't too overpowering and didn't give me bad breath, which is great. Overall, I have tried better spiced indian food elsewhere, but I can't complain with the price and portions provided. read more

Naan Cafe - The food - Desserts Near Me - Fontana, California

My oldest daughter and I wanted Indian food, and I'd had this place on my list to try for a while. It's located at the corner of the shopping center, almost tucked behind the tax place. They have a decent amount of seating inside the restaurant as well. It was quiet when I walked in. A nice young gentleman helped me. He informed me some of the items on the menu aren't available for the combo, which would explain why they weren't in the dropdown options on the website. For the combos, you're limited to the lineup they have on the counter, which is pretty extensive. Additional items can be purchased and made to order--he said about 15 minutes. We ordered two #2 combos. Both had chicken tikka masala. One had dal makhani and the other had saag paneer. Both came with rice and naan--we opted for garlic naan. Portions are decent here as we both had enough for leftovers. The food was delicious and the perfect amount of spice! I'll have to come back to try their butter chicken (my fav)! Their family meal offering looks like a pretty good deal as well! read more

This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Rancho area. Not only is the food amazing but the staff is always so friendly. Prased is always a smiling face who greets me when I come in and treats me like family. In this economy where eating out costs over $60-80 for a family of 4, we can eat there for less than $30 and have left overs. Great people, great food, and amazing value. read more

I absolutely love this place!!! I wish I had found out about it sooner. The combo plate is what I usually get and its the biggest bang for your buck in this economy. $12.99 for two heaping servings of your choice of entrees, a generous serving of rice, and an entire naan! The food is delicious and the workers are super friendly. read more

While driving east on Foothill and not deciding what we were going to eat I spotted this place at the corner of my eye. Indian food can be pricey at the sit down and order restaurants so I tend to like these fast food style restaurants which offer a better value. I ordered a two item combo with my favorite dish chicken tikka masala, fried rice with chicken, chana masala, and naan. The service was with a smile and the food was delicious everyone enjoyed it. read more

My wife and I have searched for an Indian restaurant with delicious food that is also reasonably priced. Over that last 20 years we've only found restaurants that satisfy one of the two requirements until now. We tried 6 dishes and everything we tried was delicious. The portions were large and the prices were low. If you like Indian food or just want to check it out for the first time, this is the place to go! I highly recommend the Biryani rice. Great food and kind workers! I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area

My first time at Naan cafe. The food was delicious and the staff was really nice and helpful! :)

Naan Cafe is the BEST VALUE Indian takeout in the area. Prices are LOW, portions BIG, and taste is EXCELLENT! Of course the staff are friendly and efficient, and the location is well kept, too. If you live in the area or are just passing through, and you like Indian food at all--please do yourself a favor and try Naan Cafe! They truly outperform all local "competitors" in every way! I have been visiting once every week or two since this Fontana location opened, and I can see myself happily continuing the tradition as long as we are both in the Fontana area. My tips for diners: 1) start sampling the menu with a 3 item combo if you want variety in a smaller order--this makes a great meal for two who are hungry! 2) if you prefer spicier hotness and/or are feeding more people, order extra entrees a la carte. 3) be adventurous and try all the different naan styles offered--each one is great in its own way! My favorite is the Chilli Naan! THANK YOU so much for the joy you have brought my family, Naan Cafe! read more

Had a lovely meal here with my group of friends. I am super sensitive to spicy food and was very happy with the palak paneer (spinach and cheese curry) and the tikka masala paneer. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and accommodating when placing my order. I have also ordered through online dining options and was very happy with the serving size and available options. I find myself craving their cuisine and thinking when can I go back. You can order custom dishes from the menu so which they are very willing to accommodate special requests, but they also have a great selection of freshly prepared dishes at the counter. One of my friends ordered the beef vindaloo and asked for it to be medium spicy. Unfortunately it wasn't spicy enough for him at all, but he now knows to order it at "Indian Hot" spice level. He likes it so hot it can melt paint lol. However, I know I am in the minority. I am not able to eat spicy food and the levels here are perfect for me. Thank you. read more
