VERY authentic, insanely good. Service was amazing. Pricing was great. Felt like the olden days of getting quality food at a just cost. Bring the whole family here. read more

Indian food has officially earned a permanent spot in my cravings! I've been dining at this restaurant since it first opened, and honestly, I'm not sure why I waited so long to write a review. Over the last year,I've worked my way through almost the entire menu, and I have yet to find a dish that isn't absolutely delicious. Today, I ordered delivery instead of dining in, and I was impressed that the food arrived just as flavorful and satisfying as it is in the restaurant. Every dish is packed with rich spices and incredible flavors that make each bite an experience of its own. If you're in the area and looking for amazing Indian food, give this place a try you really can't go wrong. For first time visitors, I highly recommend starting with the butter chicken, naan, and basmati rice. It's the perfect introduction and one of my all-time favorites. This place continues to exceed my expectations every time. Highly recommended! read more

Masala Twist - Garlic Naan, basmati rice, chicken tikka masala, dahi bhalla, milk badam - Indian Near Me - Fontana, California

The food was good, but definitely more sauce than there was meat. We got chicken tika masala, butter chicken, rogan josh, basmati rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. Their prices were completely reasonable and fair priced, so that was a plus!! Service wise it was okay. They never brought water to our table and the main guy hosting was always at the front counter on his phone. Very nice, but not the most attentive. Plus, they will not bring you your check. You must go to the counter once you finish. The ambiance was cute! read more

Food 2/5 Ambiance 5/5 Service 4/5 I want to caveat this review by admitting that I've only had Indian food a couple times in my lifetime, but after eating this place, I can definitively say that Indian food is not my cup of tea. So if youre someone who loves Indian food, take this review with a grain of salt. Inside seating only for this place and the inside is clean with cute decor and plenty of space. Service was good and food came out fast. However, all their food was Incredibly heavy and way too pungent. Everything seemed to be slathered in sauces that's were incredibly pungent that i felt like the flavors were a punch in the senses. I was looking forward to the chicken tikka masala but it was way too watery and felt more like a tomato bisque than a tikka masala. I'd have to say that my favorite part of the meal was the garlic naan. I actually felt like I had somewhat of a stomach ache after eating here and will not be back anytime soon. read more

Traditional Indian Food with a Twist This quaint establishment is full of color, delicious food, and great service. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken pasta. I'm sure you raised an eyebrow and thought "pasta???" Ignore that thought and try it yourself. I think it's my favorite item on the menu, it's flavorful and a heaping portion that can feed up to two people. To drink, I ordered the salty sweet lassi, delish! As for our naan, we chose the garlic chili and cheese naan. Light and full of flavor! I am one that tolerates all the heat, I asked for all plates as spicy as possible. My request was met and it was a delicious dinner. I'll be back! read more

Food was seasoned properly and portions were great! Awesome value for local Indian food if you are craving a good spot for a quick bite.

My boyfriend and I went to try it out yesterday. The ambiance was very pretty, almost like it was photo ready. It was very chill with barely any people there. We ordered the mango lassi, garlic naan, samosa, rice, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. The mango lassi was the right amount of sweet. I highly recommend it. I also recommend the samosas. They serve two and it was very filling. As far as the main course, the rice and garlic naan were delicious. The butter chicken and chicken tikka were very good in terms of flavor and quality of sauce. My only wish was that the chicken itself was a little softer. Our chicken was a bit tough but i'd rather have tough chicken. then uncooked chicken. Overall very good! I highly recommend it. read more

Pretty reasonably priced. Inside is so cute. There's your traditional foods and your "twist" or fusion. Service was fine. Ordered... Pani puri.... I love puri! The crispy shells! Already filled with potatoes and spices. All you had to do was fill it with the tamarind sauce and pop it into your mouth! So refreshing! Butter chicken... always a delight! My go to! Chicken vindaloo.... Butter chicken is the better of the two. Garlic naan... delicious to dip and scoop the gravies! Basmati rice... wish it came with the a la carte dishes. Ample free parking in a shopping center. read more

Masala Twist - The food and Customer Service was amazing. The different heat levels make it even better! Definitely becoming a regular here! - Indian Near Me - Fontana, California

The food here is amazing! Indian is one of our favorite food and we try it throughout LA...the US....and internationally. So far our favorite has been in Mykonos but Masala Twist is giving that a run for its money. The chicken in the chicken Tikki masala is so tender and fresh. The chat is amazing! The lamp vindaloo and lamp chops are both amazing and a good portions. We tried it for the first time a little over a month ago and have been back three times since. Everyone is very friendly and gives great recommendations. Great vibes! read more

Yum food, good ambience, reasonable price, good service. Well maintained surroundings and clean tables. Spice as requested.

To be honest with all of you, please don't order Seekh Kabaab from here. They call it as a chicken kabaab but actually they surve you a soya chunks. I can't believe how can they do it. read more

Walking into this restaurant, it felt like we instantly transported to another place. The cute pink, grey, and blue color scheme was a complete contrast to the darker exterior of the building. The smell of mouthwatering curry and other spices filled the air as my friend and I sat down to order. The staff who took our order was extremely sweet, she was attentive and patient as we figured out what we wanted to order. We ended up choosing the samosas and pani puri for the appetizers and for the main entrees, we decided on the mixed grill and mango chicken curry. We also ordered a side of rice and naan since the curry was al la carte. The order of which the food was brought out was a bit odd, we first got the samosas which made sense, then the mixed grill, followed by the pani puri, then the mango chicken, and finally the rice and naan. Originally, we ordered two servings of the naan and rice but when we saw how large one serving of rice was (it was enough to feed 3 people), the waitress was super sweet to offer to take it back when she saw our shocked expression. Food Review: - Samosas: the freshly fried samosas were a bit small but packed with flavor. They were filled to the brim with potatoes and peas, both were seasoned perfectly. And they were accompany by a tasty sweet sauce and an herby spicy sauce. 8.5/10 - Pani Puri: the crunch exterior of the pani puri was perfectly balanced by the soft potatoes and other spices. I love the refreshing herby cold soup (I'm not sure how to describe it) that we add into the pani puri. 9.8/10 - Mix Grill: The mix grill consisted of tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, shesh kabob, lamb boti, and tandoori fish. When it arrived, both my friend and I were shocked with how large the plate was and how it was filled to the brim. Our personal favorite meat was the tandoori fish which melted in our mouth. However, all the other meats were also grilled really well and were delicious. 8.8/10 - Mango Chicken: the curry had a well-balanced blend of savory, sweet, and slightly spicy flavors. The large pieces of chicken were tender and tasty. However, the mango flavor does not really stand out at all. 7.8/10 read more

The tikka masala, naan, and malai chicken tikka was so delicious! Will definitely be ordering food from here again!

Great Indian food. Quick service and seems clean. I like all their food and I have been coming back here if I crave Indian food.

So delicious!!! Will definitely be coming back more often, had the butter chicken, Daal, and tandoori chicken, definitely recommend.

The food was reasonable but the wait time was surprisingly long. I ordered a butter chicken and naan to go. Despite only 1 table of customers in there. It took them 30 minutes to get my food ready. I had to ask twice if my food is ready. The stuff are nice but either they need more chef in the kitchen or they need to learn how to prepare food a bit faster. read more

Delicious food, lots of variety and helpful staff. We keep coming back especially since it is located not far from Kaiser Hospital.

My wife had been looking for pani puri which she heard was good but couldn't find it anywhere. Then Masala twist opens nearby and we had to go. They had what she wanted and more. The food was so good. We order so much more than what we could eat and took so much home. The service was just over the top. Kindness will get me coming back every time. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. I hope it stays this way. Only thing that was off was the blender was really loud that it took away from the cool music playing. Other than that this place gets all the stars. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTN72tME8/ read more

Do yourself a favor and just take your money elsewhere because this restaurant is a joke. I did a door-dash PICKUP today and was there literally within two minutes of receiving the notification that it was ready. Upon arrival, I wasn't even greeted but instead met with a very rude, confused looking cashier that had absolutely zero clue where my food was before the other guy chimed in to LIE and say someone came in and took it. He even went as far as to claim that this "person" showed them my name and door dash account on their phone which is impossible because like, I'm the only person who has access to my account??? Texted my roommate and asked her did anyone deliver Indian food... nope! It was so beyond obvious that nobody even bothered to make my food. What tf type of establishment is that? I ordered $30 worth of food, than told to come pick it up and you haven't even started making it??? I guess since they're ALWAYS empty, the chef doesn't bother or something because that was weird. I won't be back. read more

Today was our 2nd visit there for lunch. We went there 2 weeks before and loved the food we had, so thought of going again & tasting something different to see how good the dishes are. On our 1st visit, we went with Amritsari Kulcha, Lamb Chops, Veg Hakka Noodles, Paneer tikka. The Lamb chops were done right and tasted delicious. The mint chutney that comes with it, along with the grilled onions add that much needed herby, sweet and tangy flavor make it more delightful. The Amritsari Kulcha was amazing with its spiced potato stuffing. The combo with the pickled onions and Chole ( chickpea curry) add a whole another flavor profile to it, that you can't resist eating again and again. Although, I wish the onions were pickled more. The Veg Hakka noodles tasted really good, and I was surprised that they could get that right as well. The noodles were cooked just right, and the spices added a nice touch to it. My wife ordered the Paneer tikka & she was blown away by the softness and how fresh then paneer tasted. She just couldn't stop raving about it. My son went with the coconut chicken curry with the Basmati rice & he loved every bit. I had a taste myself and was surprised by how soft the chicken turned out to be. The coconut curry tasted sweet, spicy and had the right gravy consistency to go well with Basmati rice. Overall, a welcome addition to the Fontana neighborhood. read more

Food good, customer service OK. Order a lime soda, it was disgusting so I exchanged it for a sprite. It still ended up on my bill. I was confused and they asked to remake it- AT THE END. I wouldn't have exchanged the drink had I known they'd both be on the bill. Anyway. They took it off. Most likely won't be back. read more

This is relatively new restaurant in the neighborhood. We stopped by the place for dinner. The ambience was good and spacious. Me and my wife ordered veggie food. Unexpected find for the area. Great Indian food! And cute restaurant. But just be prepared to wait. Which is fine by me, because it means it's fresh. We've tried chicken, lamb & goat. The goat was too much fat & bones for our liking. But the meat has always been cooked well. read more

What a great find in Fontana! These guys are tuning out legit Indian food. Everything I saw come out looked and smelled great.
