Nate installed a custom tube bumper and skid plate, mounted and wired lights, and built and installed the roof rack.

Where to begin... Whether you are simply looking to have some tube bending done or you are building something one off and totally unique that has not been done before, or anything in between, Nate at N8Z's Fab has you covered. I came to Nate after being turned away at countless big name off road shops while looking for someone interested in helping me turn a 2007 Red Bull Mini Cooper pickup into the first ever off-road Mini Cooper truck. I knew immediately when I stumbled across Nate and his garage that I had found the right guy when, unlike all the other shops I had gone to, he actually came out of the garage, inspected the car personally, and listened to the crazy idea that I had. Since first coming to Nate at the beginning of the project, he has continued to exemplify incredible workmanship, skill, and patience as we edged our way through the complexities of building something completely one-off. His creativity and ability to build, fix, and repair any and all things mechanical has made him the best person to work with. Our project has had many speed bumps and road blocks along the way, as you might imagine building an off road Mini Cooper truck, but Nate has successfully tackled each and every one efficiently, at a fair and reasonable price, and with expert quality that would rival any professional fabrication shop. I cannot emphasize enough the professionalism and quality of Nate's work and no matter what your needs are, I am confident that Nate can not only handle it, but will keep you continuously updated, involved, and beyond satisfied with the final outcome. He has earned a customer for life and I would recommend his work to anyone, no matter the project or need.

The stock ones were a weird dull gray industrial looking color and it bothered me I called them and Arson walked me through the process and pricing over the phone. He booked me for the next morning and by the end of the day I was able to pick up my ride. He runs a clean cool looking shop. The prices were very reasonable and they did great work! I chose black because it matches the car better and looks more sleek I'd definitely recommend these guys - they do a lot more stuff so check them out.

Arson is such a dope person--super humble, clearly knows his craft, and genuinely passionate about what he does. This is more than just a business to them, and you feel that immediately. I originally planned on shopping around and checking out other shops, but after my first chat with them, I didn't need to call anyone else. Pricing was an amazing deal--straightforward, fair, and no BS. They really work with you, walk through the details, and help find the best options for your budget without cutting corners. The team walked me through everything they did, step by step, and the results speak for themselves. I had PPF installed, gloss-black PPF wrap, blacked-out badging, tint, and gloss-black coated rims--absolutely flawless work. Superb craftsmanship. I'll definitely be bringing my Emira back to this team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and people who genuinely care about the work they put out.

The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

I recently hit a loose car tire on the freeway which left some damage on my front bumper. The PPF came in clutch and protected most of my original car paint.
