Despite the difficult work Ames honored the quote. They did a good job on the hitch and wiring so I decided to get the U-haul trailer from them. They had the trailer ready on time and hooked it up for me. They even flipped the hitch for free so I had a few more inches of clearance. Since I was leaving town they could have screwed me but did not. They also do auto repair and I wish I had knew about them while living in Casper. Kent was great on the phone and gave us a number of a good towing service to get the vehicle to Ames. We are from Denver so rented a car to drive back to Denver since it was close to quitting time. Kent and his crew diagnosed and replaced the fuel pump. The price was fair and we traveled back to Casper to pick up the vehicle the next week when we had another service call in Casper. When I first purchased it, I went to another shop for a tune-up and fluid change, assuming the job was done properly. Little did I know, the fluid flush never happened. Thankfully, these guys caught the issue during a visit and showed me in person just how badly my coolant needed to be flushed. We were warned to stay away from them the day we took it in from someone else they had screwed over for thousands and we should have listened. In the aftermath checking with other shops in town we found out that they charge literally twice as much as every other shop in town. When you talk to their management they will completely lie multiple times to save their own rear end and will take zero accountability for their wrongs and will put zero effort into making things right. They will also give you assumptions instead of true diagnostics in order to try and scam you out of more money. If you want your vehicle properly taken care of and for a fair price, then do not ever go to this sorry excuse for a shop and do your homework on their pricing. Called 4 shops and stopped by 2 - got rejected because of the low clearance and/or availability. Steve from Big O said to stop by right away and that he can get started on it immediately.
