It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. We walked here after spending three breathtaking hours at the Royal Alcázar of Seville. I ordered the power salad. It was a beautiful combination of tender moist chicken and quinoa and garbanzo beans and greens with a yummy pesto dressing. Everything was so fresh. The pesto dressing was delicious and not overly salted like so many restaurants tend to do these days. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating. This cafe is clean and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to reenergize and have a fresh and delicious lunch. They have other offerings that look so good as well.
