Recently, a close friend of mine was looking for a wedding venue, and I immediately recommended ERIA. They ended up having their ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, followed by their after party at ERIA's new Marina location. It was such a fun way to celebrate because after the reception we walked over to Bar Darling, and the catering came from Little Original Joe's. The whole evening really embraced the city, and it felt like guests got to experience San Francisco rather than just attend a wedding. The team also added so many thoughtful touches that made the night feel special. They had cookies from the upcoming La Boulange Bakery pop up as a late night treat, which everyone loved, and they even arranged for a photo booth that was a huge hit. My friends couldn't stop talking about how well everything came together, and I was secretly thrilled that my recommendation worked out so well. The next morning we headed to Sausalito for brunch at Cultivar, which was fantastic and somewhere I hadn't been before. From there we made our way to ERIA's waterfront venue, which is just as stunning as ever. They projected home videos onto a screen overlooking the water, everyone gathered with sparklers, and the whole evening felt incredibly intimate and memorable. It was such a beautiful contrast to the energy of the city the night before. One of the things I loved most about the weekend was getting to experience both locations. The Marina gave us the excitement and nightlife of San Francisco, while Sausalito offered the peaceful waterfront setting that made the celebration feel completely different. Having both experiences in one wedding weekend made it feel incredibly unique. I've been to ERIA many times now, and every event somehow feels different while maintaining the same high level of hospitality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a venue that can help create an unforgettable wedding weekend rather than just a single event, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The panoramic views are stunning, and the location--right in the heart of Sausalito--is pretty much perfect. The dance floor was comfortable, the vibe was there, and it felt like it had all the makings of a great event. But here's the ik...... and it's the reason for the 2-star rating. The bathroom situation was beyond unacceptable. We're talking extremely small (only 2 stalls for the women), poorly equipped for the size of the crowd, and within 30 minutes of the event starting, the toilets were already breaking down. Not "a little slow"--completely failing. For an event with 60+ women (and drinks being served for FIVE hours), we were left with essentially ONE working toilet. Diabolical. Uncomfortable. Irritating. And it didn't get better--it got worse. Halfway through the event, the second toilet started to overflow. Yes, overflow. It was nasty, and there was no real resolution or sense of urgency from the venue to fix it. Just... left to deal with it. So while the space is undeniably pretty and well-situated, it is absolutely not equipped to handle a crowd of 125+ people. Not even close. A venue can look amazing, but if basic necessities like functioning restrooms aren't handled--and can't be remedied in real time--it completely takes away from the experience. Beautiful space, but not a place I'd trust for an event of that size again.

On the day of the wedding, she brought aboard two additional bartenders to help make things run smoothly. We didn't know what to expect from Polly Martini. We thought poor service may be the norm in this industry. We were wrong. So wrong... We will never use anyone else for our parties from now on. We had ~40 people for a casual house party with around 14 different entrees/dishes to be served, buffet style. Booking the service was efficient and professional and Polly called to confirm everything the day before the party. The day of, we were already behind schedule (there was an unfortunate incident with a mandoline slicer) when Polly's guy showed up. Tyler came in exactly on time, strapped on an apron, and started preparing and plating the dishes like he had been working in a Michelin rated kitchen all his life (this opinion was from my co-host who actually was previously a chef in a Michelin rated restaurant). He worked hard literally all night long. Not to mention he was a hit with ALL of our guests (at one point we had to ask them to stop pestering him so he could do his work). My contact point, Lyra, was extremely helpful and patient, sending me multiple quotes for the different combinations of services I inquired about. Not only are their prices extremely competitive and reasonable, their service, communication and organization were absolutely stellar. It was a dream working with Lyra and her team in the two months leading up to the event and a lifesaver having them run their entire operation so smoothly from setup through cleanup, completely freeing me up to deal with other logistics and vendors. We were a large, high-maintenance, relatively rowdy crowd and they didn't miss a beat. Could not be happier and would highly highly recommend QBC for any event/wedding.

Susan (owner) is prompt and responsible on communications. Usually same day, 24 hours at the most. She is also a direct communicator (i.e., she will volunteer best practices in advance - which I personally resonated to). You can tell she has expertise in catering immediately. We needed a seating plan for our church's 20th Anniversary to accommodate 70 people and were able to get 60 in the main room and another table for the remaining 10 just outside in the adjoining buffet/bar area ( with line of sight to main room there was no problem). We opted in for some appetizers and a buffet style menu and hosted refreshment bar. The catered pricing, including venue was more than I was expecting, but in hindsight was reasonable considering the flexibility in set up accommodations, wonderful service and tasty food. Susan permitted several onsite run throughs for us, and gave us early access to set up which was an unexpected perk. Our service team consisting of Lisa, Julie, Adriana and Shelly were all in place and totally in the zone the entire event. They had out on platters the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes three minutes into the welcome and mingle portion of the banquet. The coffee pot and condiments were ready all through the three hour event. The buffet line was opened and the food was warm (could have been hotter), but all tasty. I suggest that the gravy pot be reposition because it was hard to get too with being squeezed in between the two serving bins. Not sure why at some point that one of the staff members moved into the line to serve out the chicken fillets only. That was a little odd. The cake was expertly platted and served at the right moment. Tables cleared and waters refreshed adequately. Parking was street only but had nearby options so it all worked out well. The Audio/ Visual equipment was above average and worked without any issues. The entrance way on the front corner of the cafe would benefit with a cautionary led light or tape on the entry's one step as it blends into the approach and can represent a trip hazard, but we had no issues during our event. The bathrooms are eclectic, in character and clean. This organization did a fine job for our special event and we are very glad to have selected High Street Catering and Cafe.
