The Myrtle Beach Pinball Museum was a great place to visit for everyone from pinball enthusiasts like myself to someone looking for a fun way to spend part of a day. The machines are a nice mix from the 1970s to more modern machines. I enjoyed a great example of the 1970s Bally's Playboy, Captain Fantastic and Mata Hari machines. They were in great condition, played well and a lot of fun. My daughter enjoyed the more modern 1994 World Cup, Wheel of Fortune andGhost Busters. A great afternoon. We took a group of 10 here ranging from 67 to 5 years old on a Friday afternoon. My 5 year old daughter did not enjoy this place but my 7 year old son really liked it. My teenagers wanted to comeback the next day. The bathrooms were clean and there were a lot of fun pinball machines to choose from. Easy to find, but off the main drag. Small place, but filled with nostalgic pinball machines. You pay for the hour of time, but machines are free to play while you are in there. You need to reserve a spot ahead of time to guarantee being able to play. You can buy tickets online. It is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected. We had a blast. Great find, the concierge at the hotel had never heard of it. Small place, but definitely worth spending an hour at. It's interesting to play all the different machines and see their nuances, some of the paddles are more responsive than others, 2 of the machines even played 2 balls at once. Great little place. Well, it's air conditioned so that great. They have about 25 machines. Two were down when I was there but they had guys in there working on them. It's a mix of new and old. $12 an hour per person and all proceeds go to children's charities. A lot of fun! read more

It's $12 for the hour. It's very small, but if you enjoy pinball, go. It's less a museum and more an arcade, but you don't need quarters. They have new and old machines. That hour went by so quickly. Inside of the building are time machines that took me back to my youth of student unions and arcades. For an entry fee you get to free play the the vintage pinball machines from the 1970s through the early 2000s for an hour. It's small and off the beaten path but not hard to find.For ten dollars, we saved a couple buck because of our AAA affiliation, you got to play as many machines as you wanted for an hour. The machines were fun, with some harder than others. Still, it took you back to the good old days. I would liked to have seen some of the Real Old nickel machines, but that wasn't the case.
