After spending time reading reviews on social media trying to find a reputable repair garage in the East Volusia area, I contacted and had my non-drivable vehicle towed to Myron's auto. From my very first call to my last discussion with the Myron's team the communication with me was exceptional. Jeremy, Lori and Danny all made sure I understood what was being done and what the cost would be. My vehicle is a 2006 so they advised me of what needed repaired immediately to get me back on the road and what they recommended I should do in the future. We took our truck to Myrons too fix an issue. They were unable to figure out what the problem was . In their search, they took apart the valve cover and removed the rocker are. When they put the cover back together, they didn't reattach the rocker are and when he drove it to the car wash, he started the truck and drive the rocker arm into the cam which resulted in needing to get a new motor. When confronted with the issue, his staff lied to us and to Myron the owner. We had to buy a new motor and pay to have it installed. A professional mechanic can't find an exhaust leak and ruins a cutsomers motor. My recommendation is for you to take it anywhere but there. Over priced, inexperienced staff and not honest. Lied to us 3 different times. Now I'm suing them for the new motor. Save yourself the headache. read more

I was on I-95 when the battery light on my Santa Fe came on and I was extremely lucky to find Myron's Auto Service while driving north on US1 toward Daytona. They were very busy when I arrived, but Myron took the time to check my charging system himself. As I suspected, it was the alternator. I knew that removing this part was not an easy job, with the front wheel, suspension and axle in the way. In spite of that, Myron found an alternator and managed to fit me in between appointments. While I was waiting I watched and listened. Myron runs an honest repair shop. They pay attention to small details and look out for their customers. I feel very fortunate to have found this place. They got me in and out and back on the road when I was in a very vulnerable situation. The price was bargain given the quality of the service. read more

Myron's Auto Service was able to find the reason why my car would not start. The Honda dealership told me it was a battery problem, installed a battery, and two days later I was stranded with a car that wouldn't start. Myron's ordered the Honda part, installed it and delivered the car. I've had no more problems. read more

We were going to GA from Miami to see some friends and we stayed stranded on the side of the road our tow truck driver was an absolute angel but as far as this shop it's definately not reccommended. To be honest there's really no words for the service to this place, first we were warmly greeted by the front desk woman i believe her name was Linda but that didn't last very long, point of the story is the mechanic bringing in the truck damaged the rim on the truck. When my boyfriend brought it to her attention (front desk) her exact words were "well you might as well sit back down you need to wait for the owner because i'm not going to credit you for anything" the owner did arrive and was nice enough to take off $60 from the bill but u just feel that all they are interested in is just making money off of you at least that's the impression i got, the mechanic was rude and seemed annoyed everytime my boyfriend would ask him a question in regards to his truck as if we were some sort of bother which i truly don't understand because this is their job and we are just concerned. I believe that if you're working with the public you should be a little more understanding how anxious we are and a bit more nicer. We are a far way from home so i little compassion would've gone a long way. NO i DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is a complete scam!! Biggest ripoff in the area. I went in to have some brake work done after being recommended by a friend who had work done here 10 years ago. They quoted me $350 for all the work on the brakes, new pads, rotors, including installation. They called me saying it was gonna be a few days for parts. When I returned, I found they drove my car and put on miles without my permission. My seats had cigarette ash on them and I was told the repairs came to $445. WHAT A JOKE!! The owner was completely rude and snapped on me saying to pay the difference or they would hold my car hostage. My breaks are starting to go again, I went to another shop that varified they put on used/cheap parts. My friend is completely embarassed. The owner has religious postings all over the office and claims to be a Christian screwing people over. He'll get what he has coming to him. AVOID THIS PLACE!! read more

This place is a complete fraud shop and should be closed down. Completely dishonest and a lack of morality. They charged me a significant amount of money more than quoted for the estimate. Owner "Myron" was rude and unwilling to work with me with the problems that occurred after my car was supposed to be fixed. Had to go to another shop to "finish the job." I wrote a short review on Edgewater Towings business practices and how rude his employee's were. I finally got to speak to Myronte owner of both Edhewater Towing and Myron's automotive services. I was quite taken aback by his attitude, I always thought him to be a stand-up guy, if he once was he is not any longer. Let me re-cap review on the towing. Towing 125.00 Labor. 25.00 (shouldn't this be part of towing fee) Pullout fee 35.00 (Put vehicle on truck, again shouldn't this be part of towing fee). Storage. 21.30 a day. Even though I was at Edgewater towing the next day within 24 hrs i was charged for 2 days.a total of 227.60 my insurance paid them all but the extra day storage. The employees told me I owed them 81.30 to get my car. All were rude and nasty. I did not understand their math. Even if I paid the extra night storage i was still being charged an extra 60.00. Math is Math. You can't change it to suit yourself. Well I now know why all the employees were rude and nasty, they take their cue from their Boss Myron! He was rude, nasty and condescending. Mad as heck about my review on Edgewater Towing. I felt coerced into signing title to them but I didnt have the 81.30 to get my car. However I did not fill out title to whom I was selling to which seller is supposed to do. I only signed my name. Through out my conversation with Myron he kepy saying my car was gone already, by thr end of conversation he still had my car. This is after I brought up the title situation. Then he said I could have my car after paying the additional days of storage. His business ptactices are unethical and he is a liar and cheat. I was not going to let him get away with this so I filed for lost title. Myron can not fo anything with my car. The title in his possesion is worthless. I will update all what happens next. Do not take your car here. Took car in just to have fan and motor replaced,fine. Then checked other issues said I had. Took things apart like intake manifold,etc. Left wires hanging, also drivers side wind working fine when I took it in, not working when I picked it up. read more

Don't let them tow your car to Myron's where you'll be stuck buying whatever overpriced parts they have in stock--especially if you're female or young, because you'll end up paying about double. After they overcharged my child whose car broke down, I'll never give them any more of my business and I've told her not to go there either. read more

Made an appt. for the earliest morning appt. and had to wait over an hour for a simple oil change. Then we realized that they put the wrong oil in and had to wait for them to change it out. It cost way more than what we usually pay and in our opinion they are overbooking at the customer's expense. read more
