They sold us really cheap flooring that had a lot of issues with it. Prior to purchasing my wife…read moreasked if it was good quality as the area it will be installed will be a high traffic area and the sales person (Colin) assured her it was good quality material. Their customer service is also horrible. They say they will call back and never do. Happened so many times that I lost count. After paying them a delivery fee to get it delivered, my installer started installing it in the first room, he immediately called me and said the pieces were not clicking correctly and were popping out. He explained over time that the flooring will start to separate if not clicked properly and will look really bad. I immediately contacted square foot flooring and sent them a video of the installation showing the issue. They vehemently denied there were any issues and blamed our installer. After getting tired of waiting for them to call back, we drove 45 mins and met with them and they gave us (bs) explanations. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and had our installer go there in person the next day and "learn" from the owner. Our installer tried installing the material after and had problems again. We delayed our project by a week and hired a more experienced flooring installer who had done some work for us previously, with 10+ years of experience, and he immediately told us that the flooring was no good and that it was not clicking correctly and was popping out. I asked him to record a video and sent it to square foot flooring and they again blamed it on the installer and said the installer didn't know what he was doing. They mentioned this material is hard to work with and other people have had problems with it and returned it. When we asked for a refund of the material they tried to charge us a 25% restocking fee - WTF? You guys admitted that people have had a problem with it. We're installing Vinyl here, it's not rocket science LOL. I even said I would buy other material from them if they could cancel the restocking fee and these guys tried to give me a higher price than other stores to make up for the restocking fee. Evan the owner is also a piece of work. They agreed to bring down the restocking fee to 18% after a lot of arguing, and then on the day we brought back the material he tried to jack up the restocking fee rate in front of us to get a reaction out of me. My wife and I also had to rent a home Depot van and load 1600sqft of material myself and unload it onto their dock. I purchased from Hardwood Design Centre in Brampton and the material was worlds apart and the customer service was excellent. They even let us return unused boxes for a full refund without any restocking fees. All in all, our project was delayed over a month and ended up returning all the material and on top of that paying a restocking fee. My advice is stay clear of these guys. When things go bad they will not have your back. They are not a reputable business and selling sub par material for overpriced rates. They'll never admit they are wrong. Own up to things and you will have my loyalty for life. They don't care about the customer and once they have your money good luck getting any help from them.

So disappointed. We have been purchasing tile at Eden Tile-It for nearly two decades and have…read morealways been happy with both the products and the service. Unfortunately, this was not our experience this time around. We ordered 14 boxes of tile based on the display board in Eden Tile-Its' showroom (see photo). When we opened the boxes nearly 70% of the tile had no pattern on it whatsoever and those that did had very little veining (see picture of one of the boxes). There would be no way that the look represented on the display board could be recreated with the product we received. When I contacted Eden Tile-It. The manager, Brian, insisted that this was normal variation of product. It is not. It is deception. I understand that some tiles are going to have more veining than others and that some tiles, based on the display board, might even be completely white. However, 20-30% (as opposed to the 70% we received) of the tiles on this display board are plain white and the ones that are patterned have much more veining than any of the tiles we received. This is very misleading, and given that customers are paying up front to order a product based on these display boards, dishonest. Customers should be able to trust that they will be able to recreate the look on these boards. I felt sure that Eden Tile-It would make this situation right, but they did not. Saying only, "That's just the way it is." The tile was returned but at a 15% restocking fee and the manager seemed ill equipped to handle a situation where a customer was not receiving what they paid for. Brian made no attempt to fix the situation, blaming the supplier and insisting the product we received was acceptable. It was not. I have recommended Eden-Tile-It to many friends, family, and even contractors over the years and have even taken friends into the showroom to help them choose tiles for their renovations. Based on this experience, I will not be recommending them again, nor will I be purchasing anything from them in the future. Go elsewhere. There are plenty of other suppliers that will treat their customers better

They finally agreed to let us exchange them. Their policy is no refunds or exchanges, which needs to change. They sell tiles not bed mattresses! Well we pick out new tiles at the same price and that's when they tell us we have to pay a 35% fee to exchange or keep the ones we had. The fee was $139.00. We wouldn't have minded maybe a $35 fee but almost $140.00. Just ridiculous. Apparently Edward the manager would not budge on the exchange fee. We were planning on buying floor tiles from X Tile, but not now. They lost us as customers. Edward you sell tiles not mattresses. I hope you are happy you lost us as customers. Stay away from X Tile! Go somewhere else.

We met Dushan when we walked in. Dushan and his assistant, Andy, immediately responded to our inquires and their knowledge was greatly appreciated. Dushan and Andy were so helpful in our decision on what floor we wanted/needed. They were not pushy. Dushan and Sam (another contact) provided us with clear explanations, breakdown quotes and answered all our questions promptly, before we went ahead we looked at their work and were very impressed. So we said YES! We chose March Breeze. My husband and I love our new flooring. The flooring guys were prompt each morning and tidied up each evening. It only took them 3 days to level out all our floors (this was a huge job, more than anyone expected ie. living in a condo) before putting down the new flooring. They also moved all the furniture for us prior to the work done and after. They were amazing and kept me informed daily since we did not stay at the condo so they could do what needed to be done. THANK YOU!!!! If you are looking to work with someone who communicates well, does an excellent job, we recommend you contact Dushan, Sam or Andy at Flooring Liquidators in Mississauga.
