Tim is an excellent massage therapist with an expertise in myofascial release. I have found his therapeutic massages to be able to release long held and very stuck tissues. I believe that Tim has magic hands. I've been seeing him for many years. For the first few years he was working out some of the large fascial restrictions that were embedded in my body. It was amazing how he found injuries that occurred when I was a young adult (I'm mid 60's now) and was able to help me move in a more aligned way. I've been seeing Tim for a few months now to help with post-abdominal surgery (hysterectomy) issues of adhesions and scar tissue that are pulling on my hip tendons. I've been a nurse for 32 years so no doubt I have/had chronic pain on my neck, shoulders and midback. My daughter has frequent back pain. Although she has been stretching it daily with a foam roller under the advise of a chiropractor, it recently acted up causing more severe and daily pain. Tim asked about her exercise and stretching routine and was able to provide very helpful recommendations on how to do a better stretch and aftercare. Then he proceeded with treatment and added aromatherapy oils because he felt it would be helpful for her condition. I had a myofascial release massage with Tim Landingham and it was great. Tim asked me what my problem areas were: left hip and left shoulder. The massage was slow with a pleasant amount of pressure. Tim first worked on my left hip. He really got my hip/butt to release a lot of tightness. Then he worked on my shoulder for a while. After he had the shoulder softened up, he gently pulled the shoulder away from my torso. It was a great effect: I felt like I was made out of warm silly putty. After the massage, I had a nice, spacey, blissed-out feeling. The day after the massage, I had a pleasant amount of muscular soreness. I didn't really understand myofascial release when my sister first described it to me, but I did know one thing- it was the only thing that's helped her with her neck and shoulder pain. Tim is amazing. I was unfamiliar with the Myofascial Release technique. I was quite surprised. I have had a shoulder problem for several years. Tim listened to my tale and went to work immediately. The muscles unwound as Tim seemed to get the muscles to unwind on their own. I thought he was moving my arm in a circular motion only to find out my arm was doing it on its own.
